    1-on-1 with Jadarian Price

On the November 4th, 2024 edition of Notre Dame Federal Credit Union's Irish Football Fix, host Angelo Di Carlo chats with Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price in our Focus on Faith interview. Price has had a rollercoaster ride at Notre Dame that began with an injury before he ever played for the Irish to having a massive kickoff return for a touchdown against USC last year. This year too from fumbling against Louisville this season and being benched for the rest of the game to bouncing back from the fumble to be a key piece for the Irish offense the last several weeks. How does he get through the good and the bad? Faith. It started when Price was a kid in faith filled home, grew when his mom battled cancer and he had to step up and help take care of his siblings and has grown even stronger since coming to Notre Dame. Price says he loves going to Mass before games & one way he centers himself---by listening to gospel music, sometimes even before games. -- Thank you to Notre Dame Federal Credit Union for being the title sponsor of the Irish Football Fix: www.notredamefcu.com Thank you to Tony Letcher with Health Markets for being our presenting sponsor: www.tletcher.com --- Follow us on social media: Sports Michiana | Facebook: @sportsmichiana | Instagram: @sportsmichiana Chuck | Twitter: @chuckfreeby Angelo | Facebook: @angelodicarlo | Twitter @angdicarlo | Instagram: @angdicarlo Subscribe to the Podcast: Apple | Spotify -- Sports Michiana is a digital sports broadcasting company based in South Bend, Indiana.

Focus on Faith with Hannah Hidalgo

On the October 28th, 2024 edition of Notre Dame Federal Credit Union's Irish Football Fix, host Angelo Di Carlo chats with Notre Dame women’s basketball superstar Hannah Hidalgo in our Focus on Faith interview. Hidalgo burst onto the scene as a freshman, leading the nation in steals while averaging 22.6 points per game and earning All American honors. She’s a preseason pick to be an All American again this year as the Irish have very high hopes for the upcoming season. After getting Notre Dame to the Sweet 16 last season, Hidalgo was asked in the postgame press conference “what pushes you?” She answered.... Jesus Christ. On one of the biggest stages, Hidalgo went out of her way to put her faith front and center. Hidalgo has a deep faith that started thanks to her parents but enhanced greatly when she time during the pandemic to dive into the Bible. She’s intentional about prayer as a college student and makes time to pray whenever she can, including before games. She has a special bond with Irish head coach Niele Ivey. The two even go to Church together. Hannah also discusses the upcoming season and how scary the Irish backcourt could be with Olivia Miles back in the fold.

    1-on-1 with Ruth Riley

On the October 21st, 2024 edition of Notre Dame Federal Credit Union's Irish Football Fix, host Angelo Di Carlo sits down for an in depth conversation with Notre Dame basketball legend Ruth Riley. Ruth Riley is a winner. She led Notre Dame to its 1st national title in basketball, won 2 WNBA titles and captured Olympic Gold. Life wasn’t always easy. Being tall comes with many benefits. But being the tallest person in your class as a girl in middle school—that can actually be pretty hard. Thankfully for Ruth she had some great mentors–from her mom to Muffet McGraw. And she had her faith–which she says ran parallel with her incredible basketball journey. You’ll hear stories about overcoming adversity, how she is giving back now, becoming a mom and about that faithful weekend in St. Louis in 2001 when the Irish won it all. -- Thank you to Notre Dame Federal Credit Union for being the title sponsor of the Irish Football Fix: www.notredamefcu.com Thank you to Tony Letcher with Health Markets for being our presenting sponsor: www.tletcher.com --- Follow us on social media: Sports Michiana | Facebook: @sportsmichiana | Instagram: @sportsmichiana Chuck | Twitter: @chuckfreeby Angelo | Facebook: @angelodicarlo | Twitter @angdicarlo | Instagram: @angdicarlo -- Subscribe to the Podcast: Apple | Spotify -- Sports Michiana is a digital sports broadcasting company based in South Bend, Indiana.
