-
94
Blinded Minds

-
78
Presence Denied
Exodus 33:1-16 The distinction of the Christian is the Presence of God with (In) them. The Lord told Moses ”I’m not going with you”. Sin must be dealt with for the Presence of God to be with us.
-

Pressing toward the Mark
Philippians 3:8-15 After 30 years of ministry, Paul says he Has not laid hold on Christ Jesus’ purpose in laying hold of him. He has not reached the mark, he is not yet attained his purpose for being saved. The greatest sinner, sufferer, laborer, after 30 years has not reached the mark. This should challenge us to pursue, run swiftly , aggressively chase after, Christ likeness, we have not arrived.
-
73
Knowing Him through Suffering
Philippians 3:9-11 There seems to be a cycle of suffering, death, and resurrection. As Christian’s go through this life God is conforming and transforming his children into his likeness. Suffering is given by God, this may be rejected by many, but it is biblical, and brought about by God according to His will and purpose.
-
72
Knowing Him Experientially
Philippians 3:3-11 Paul is desiring to know the Lord with a surpassing, excelling, knowledge. He came to know the Lord on the Damascus Road, but through the next thirty plus years, he come to know the Lord in a more experiential, intimate way. Sanctification, and conformity Is taking place on a daily basis. This is true, not only for Paul, but for all that are truly saved.
-
71
Worship 20
Philippians 3:3-9 Paul has lost all to gain, counted all dung to win Christ. After being saved 30 years, seeing the Lord Jesus Christ, being taken to the third heaven, he desires the excellency of the knowledge of Christ. If the apostle desires to know Christ, where does that leave me?
-
70
Worship 19
Philippians 3:3-8 Paul counted three times in these verses, an accounting term, to judge, careful appraisal, weighing the facts, leading to. When Paul finish counting all of his human attainments were only temporary. He considered them a hindrance, an obstacle to having Christ. He lost all to win Christ.
-
69
Worship 18
Philippians 3:3 The true circumcision, the Christian, has absolutely no confidence in the flesh. Confidence in the flesh is totally opposed to salvation by Jesus Christ. You cannot have both, you must get rid of human works, and confidence in the flesh, if you’re going to be saved by faith of Christ!
-
68
Worship 17
Philippians 3:3 The true people of God, saved, born again, redeemed, worship God in spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus. Man boasts in many things the majority being temporary. But the Christian rejoices (boasts, vaults, to lift up, to glory in) Christ Jesus. Paul boasted in the cross, claiming to know nothing, or preach nothing but Christ and him crucified.
-
67
Worship 16
Philippians 3:1-3 What is God‘s purpose in saving man? It looks as though from Scripture man’s purpose is to praise, honor, and glorify God. This can only be done by man receiving a new heart and God’s Spirit within. (Ezekiel 36:25-28) This being done, not for man sake, but for the name of the Lord.
-
66
Worship 15
Philippians 3:1-3 We are the circumcision. Paul is saying, we are the people of God, we are the people in covenant with God. There must be an internal, spiritual, circumcision of the heart, the inner man, the seat of affections, emotions, mind, and will. This is a work of God in the spirit of man.
-
65
Worship 13
Philippians 3:1-3 Christians, the circumcision, worship God in the spirit. Worship must come from within, and is a response to what God has done. Luke 7. The woman at Simon‘s house was worshiping because of what had been done in her. Simon had no response, because nothing had been done for him, he needed nothing from Christ, or God.
-
64
Worship 13
Genesis 22:13-19 Abraham loved God more than Isaac, Abraham obeyed God, without question, murmuring, or debate. Abraham was called the friend of God, why? What benefits was Abraham granted because of his friendship with God?
-
63
Worship 12
Genesis 22:11-14 Jehovah-Jireh, God shall see, God shall provide, God shall see to it! God saw the condition of mankind and made provision that men would be saved. He gives a commandment, and then provides the means for the commandment to be fulfilled. It’s not in man to follow God‘s commandments, but God changes man’s disposition that he desires to do the will of God.
-
62
Worship 11
Genesis 22;10-14. The Substitute; Abraham offered the ram in the stead of Isaac. What is the condition of mankind? Under the curse of sin, shut up under the law, following the devil and the world. Christ died in the stead of the believer.
-
61
Worship 10
Genesis 22:11-13 Abraham has a revelation through and by the Word of God. The provision is revealed through the word of God. The ram provided instead of Isaac is behind Abraham. How back can we look and see the provision of God for fallen humanity? Before the foundation of the world, the determinate council of the God head, determined that Jesus, the Christ, would be the substitute for every believer.
-
60
Worship 9
Genesis 22:12 God spoke to Abraham, telling him not to harm Isaac for now that he feared God, “Seeing” There were actions that validated, proved, gave evidence of Abraham’s genuine faith.
-
59
Worship 8
Genesis 22:8-12 God replied to Abraham, “now I know” Does God gain knowledge? God is omniscient, knowing completely, and perfectly all things, past, present, and future. God never gains knowledge, He declares, (Announcing) the end from the beginning. He knows the results of His own actions.
-
58
Worship 7
Genesis 22:8-9 Abraham and Isaac went together, no division, no argument, complete agreement. There is complete agreement in the Godhead, they are one in essence, purpose, and will. This must be reconciled with scripture, not the thoughts of men, nor religion, nor tradition,
-
57
Worship 6
Genesis 22:5-8 Worship must be intentional, with purpose of heart and mind. Isaac asked his father, where is the lamb for a burnt offering? God will, God has, and God must, provide a lamb for man to come near and worship.
-
56
Worship 5
Genesis 22:3-5 There was Preparation made before Abraham and Isaac left home. The wood, the fire, and the knife were all brought from home, and in the hand of the father.
-
55
Worship 4
Genesis 22:1-5 Abraham had a vision of the place and through type and shadow we see the work of the father and the son. We also see the person, the promised son, the only son, the beloved son, being sacrificed.
-
54
Worship 3
Genesis 22:1-5 Man doesn’t know God, doesn’t seek God, is at enmity with God, loves darkness, God is light and in him is no darkness at all. So, there must be revelation, and regeneration brought about by God. Man is dead spiritually, quickened by God. This brings obedience and worship.
-
53
Worship 2
Philippians 3:3 Genesis 22 There has been a call to worship and God has given His commandment, or requirement. There is a cost for true worship, which many people are unwilling to pay. Therefore no true biblical worship can take place. Only shallow, fleshly, religious ceremonies that are an abomination to God.
-
52
Worship 1
Philippians 3:3 True Christians worship God. This begins with God, through revelation man becomes aware of who God is, and who he is.
-
51
Rejoicing in Trials
Philippians 1:28-30 It is our tendency to be startled, afraid, anxious, and worried when adversity or trials come our way. But, the same same God that brought salvation, brings suffering, for his glory, and our growth. He commands us to rejoice even in trials. How?
