We get into what stress really looks like in our house, why every trip somehow turns into an argument, and the ongoing battle between being “prepared” versus just figuring it out as you go. From packing lists to GPA pressure to table manners, it becomes very clear that we see the world in completely different ways and surprisingly similar as well. But underneath all of that, we’re talking about something bigger. What is a parent actually responsible for? Is it raising a good student, or raising a functional adult? And where do emotions fit into all of that? We get into independence, self-reliance, oldest daughter pressure, and whether talking about your feelings actually helps… or just makes things worse.
