    Introducing It's Reely That Deep

Welcome to It's Reely That Deep, where we have takes on everything you're watching. We're two black women who had been searching for a show that critically analyses film and TV in the zeitgeist through an intersectional lens. We realised we already do that privately anyway, so we decided to start it ourselves! We’ll be unpacking film, TV and even theatre during our different segments. We welcome opinions in the comments, as we'll be unpacking the internet’s hot takes on the show It's Reely That Deep is co-hosted by Des and Dee. Dee loves film’s escapism and storytelling in its most powerful form. Through film, she gets to learn something new about human nature and even herself. As a kid, she dreamed of becoming a film director before she pivoted to science. It’s Reely That Deep is going to be her way of reconnecting with her childhood self.Des was raised as a global citizen by a cinephile and was allowed to watch a wide range of films that expanded her mind. Des loves how film and TV combine the technical and the creative in a way that makes sense for both her scientist side and illustrator side.
