Season 7 Episode 1We’re back! Fresh off the heels of our Season 6 finale, and I couldn’t think of a better way to kick off Season 7 than with two of my incredibly talented cousins, Tina and Cassie.We had an absolute blast catching up on everything that’s been going on during the off-season. I also had the honor of interviewing two of the most creative and intelligent people I’ve ever known.Tina is a phenomenal artist—if you caught the finale, you might remember the photo of the kazooie with Ryan on it. That was one of my favorite captures of Ryan, and Tina brought it to life perfectly. Definitely a photo that’ll be remembered over a cold one. Pour one out if you’re reading this for our boy.And get this Tina surprised me out of nowhere with some amazing logo designs awhile back featuring my Instagram handle, jackofoiltrades. She managed to capture the look of a real oil truck not an easy task. I’ve seen tons of water and gas truck illustrations, but nothing that nailed the look of my actual truck like this did. I was blown away. It’s a perfect depiction, and I couldn’t be happier.On top of that, Tina gifted me a painting I’ll cherish forever. I’ll be posting pics of it soon it’s what can be described as a “devil sprite,” and every time I look at it, I notice new details. It’s the kind of piece you have to really sit with to appreciate. The layers, the colors, the vibe—this wasn’t thrown together overnight. It took real time and vision.We also dive into some great follow-up questions everything from what Tina and Cassie are watching lately, to how they balance work life with their creative passions and commissioned art pieces.As an added bonus, we were joined by not just one but two Scotts today (now Carlson) which was awesome. I've been wanting to have both cousins on, especially after the finale, so this was a real treat. We talk everything with Cassie from life and her upcoming wedding to past jobs and how she’s grown in her career. She’s always leveling up and building for the future, and it was inspiring to hear her story.This episode meant a lot to me not just because it was fun, but because it was with family. It felt right.
