a very humble attempt at delving into ambient music... (nothing used here but the Elektron Digitone, Behringer Deepmind 6 (the drone) (and for VSTs) Spherequad, Spherecomp & Pumper 2.)

(A little crazy on the delay/reverb - perhaps best ingested with substances... not that i'm *advocating* that! **Video on Youtube at: https://youtu.be/zF4CxMsgWcA My muse hit me upside the head a few weeks ago - When waking from a nap, the bassline for this was stuck in my head (the chord progression is simply the old 4-chord typical 50s ballad progression). As I began to put the melodies down, I felt inspired by the Netflix film "The New Romantic" (check it out) and also a woman I happened to see in a Redner's parking lot who had a great style about her (including yellow-lensed sunglasses of course). The beats I made in with a hand-picked Drum Rack in Ableton, chosen from various vintage drum machine samples, including some weird ones I'd never heard of. Hope you like it!

An idea that has been running around my brain for about a year, I laid out the basic elements on my Elektrons Digitakt & Digitone. Help me come up with a Title, please! Give me ideas of what mood/place/theme it puts you in mind of... Recorded "live" (freestyle), I hope to re-record it and polish it in the future.
