We're baaaaack!!! And so is Michael Myers! It's been a chaotic year getting back into public life after the pandemic, but Slashers & Suits is back on track and right on time with the next Halloween installment. Part 5 is the middle child sandwiched between two distinct films in this "late" trilogy of 4-5-6. We've got a heated debate about Tina going, but little Jamie and Dr. Loomis remain constant favorites. 

Michael Myers is back and so are Jesu and Old Ange. Welcome to a new era of slashers, with the Big Three (Michael, Freddy, and Jason) dominating the late 80s. Little Jamie wins a golden machete in this action-packed episode. 

Jesu and Old Ange are back on Elm Street. Don't miss out on Larry Fishburne, Heather Langenkamp, John Saxon, and Patricia Arquette in Ange's favorite film. This one gets crazy: with teens in a psych ward, creative kills, and Freddy's wit, there's nothing else to say but, Welcome to prime time, bitch. 

Jesu and Old Ange resurrect this classic filled with Jason's new beach bod, a new rating system, and a riveting round of Q&A with questions from the fans! 

Jesu and Old Ange get fooled in this slasher classic! This movie toasts the end of an era and will usher in some late 80s body count camp! Be sure to grab the champagne and remember: you're a weirdo! 

This one is quite the surprise!! We had a lot of fun with Reggie the Reckless and pop locking. Inaugural Golden Machete Award, Who Would Jesu Be With Game, and the intro we forgot to do! 

Old Ange and Jesu tackle another all-time favorite, 1984's A Nightmare on Elm Street. This episode gets into "Vicodin-style acting," memorable teen characters (introducing Johnny Depp), and one very special Final Girl. 

Old Ange and Jesu delve into one of their all-time favorites in this episode with Sleepaway Camp! Old Ange's namesake, Angela, makes for a shocking "Final girl" and Jesu looks to camp leader, Mel, for wardrobe pointers. Fun kids, beautiful setting, crazy kill scenes, and one legendary ending make for their first mutual rating! 

Jesu and Old Ange finally tackle Halloween (1978), Jesu's favorite movie of all time. This is where it all began... the final girl, the excellent driving, the institution! This episode discusses Halloween in light of its cultural significance and then Old Ange falls asleep when Jesu's suit is on. 

Jesu and Old Ange have some serious fun with a certain sea pig and a Jack in the Box in "House on Sorority Row." A full suite of characters: Final Girl, Vacant, Gun Crazy, Stewardess, Coke Head, and Pigtails. 

Old Ange convinces Jesu to watch Final Exam and surprise! It becomes an absolute fave of the pod. Get ready for controversy, a full suite of characters, an unmasked killer, and a Wildman. The psychopaths are here. 

Jesu and Old Ange bring a graduation sash and report cards to this episode of Slashers & Suits! Graduation Day (1981) is an absolute party. Get ready for the amazing music of Felony mixed with a whodunnit movie for the ages. Everybody wants to be a winner in this one! Oh, and keep an eye out for Vanna White. Whether you're watching along or just listening, you're gonna have some fun. 

Old Ange and Jesu watch "The Prowler" (1981) and pretty much declare it the best movie ever made. Conspiracy theories abound with this classic "whodunnit" featuring the amazing makeup artistry of Tom Savini and an ending sequence that seems quite familiar...

Old Ange and Jesu tackle another Canadian slasher, My Bloody Valentine (still in time for February!). This turned into a banjo romp with beer. Watch along when we say "Play," or gather the family for a good old fashioned scary story.
