I want to you this medium to appreciate the moderators of this beautiful community for their tiredless effort each week just to see that the community blossom. What is fragrance? Fragrance is a sweet or pleasant smell. Must times people get attracted to each other because of the pleasant from them. As a classroom teacher, I noticed that some of my learners run away from some of their class mate and get attached and friendly to others, and when I get to ask why, they said they run away from those smelling bad and get close to those who smell better. That makes me know that, your appearance and how you smell before people makes them either likes or dislikes you. Life is far beyond just the physical it is spiritual. So times, some people are just disliked for no just reason, that's because what is being perceived from them is not actually from their body - imagine spraying an expensive perfume and someone is still telling you, you are not smelling good, what do you think is going on. Fragrance is far beyond just the smell like the body odor. But your speech, character, behavior are also things that can either attract or send people away from you. In everything you do always be mindful of what you do. Dunsin is a well known Nigeria gospel artist, he is know of his charisma and well performance on stage. His songs have touched many lives, restored many, healed many broken and transformed many. When we get to heaven one thing we shall do continually, HOLY HOLY HOLY HOLY is the LAMB that is seated on the throne. My worship is to be a sweet smell to God, but it can be a bad odor when it is done in the wrong state. The first time worship was mentioned in the Bible it was when Abraham went to offer a sacrifice. We it comes to worship, we shouldn't just narrow it to songs but many things. Even though one thing that moves God is our worship cause He created man for a single act and that is to worship Him. You are God work manship created in Christ Jesus to show forth his praises. Never forget what you where created for, in as much you are more than what you think you are. You are not just living being but both living and endowed with greatness from God. Don't leave less of who you are meant to be. Hearing the melodies from the community and enthusiasm made me want to learn more. Yesuwa is a Hebrew word used to desscribe Messiah, of which it is used by either Muslims and Christians. I choose to sing the song not just because of the melody but the message it passes. When ever a thing becomes so important to you, you don't just let it go off you. Instead you tend to nuture it, till it becomes part of you. We are let to know that the Messiah was sent to set the world free from boudge of the devil. It is therefore, you achieving your desired goal, is you sticking to those goals that really makes you. The song is more of an assurance of whom the person of the Messiah is. When the scripture talks about the love of God, he was not just talking about his coming to the world through a woman and his death, but him agreeing to take the form of a man first, agreeing to coming through a woman, stay and grow in the world like pany other person. Face all the challenges every human pass through is what is describe as the Love of God. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. Love is beyond talking and talking, involved everything that makes the persons live together. Do you know that no matter how grivious our offense might be God, never send us away, rather he calls us his own. While we were yet siners, Christ died for us. It means his dead on the cross was for everybody. This is because God does not and can not disown his own child but his child can disown him. So when the writer of the song was saying my beloved is the most beautiful, among thousand" he was not just expressing the beauty or giving a descriptive easy/ writing on who his love is. But rather telling us that among all that you can think and imagine his love is far beyond. As the grace of God is bringing us to God daily, let's believe in the work he did on the cross for for our redemption. In as much as he love to set man free from the oppression of the enemy, he also never found pleasing as to the process he has to pass through just to save man. One of the faster way to grow, is through sacrifice. Your entries are supper amazing, just facilitating comfort, peace, and joy to all members of the community. Again to the community leaders, words can appreciate your daily effort in the community, more greaze to your elbows. For this week I will be doing a cover of a song, thou popular but very touching. Even though am not singing because of the emotions it will trigger in you but the transformation to your spirit is why. It is tilted " As the deer panteth". It was recorded about a man in the Bible who was called a man after God's heart. This wasn't a sin free man that's because he committed so many things that where evilbut God was still okay with it by calling him the man after my heart. This man was placed at that point because of his sincerity, honesty and willingness to make a you turn. One of the difficult thing for a man is to make a u-turn. This is not that the man doesn't wants to make the turn buthe always finds it difficult. But this man was different, the moment he noticed he did some thing bad, he immediately sort for forgiveness and he never go back to it again. So in one of his Psalms, he wrote that same. You know, what you crave for most times others tend to it from you position of the heart, how you relate, and by what you do. The song was derived from the book of Psalms 42:1 which says "As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God". One thing about the animal used he is that no matter the miles, as along as it perceive water any where it goes for it, that's the extent at which it can go to just to satisfy it thirty. God is not just seeking for numbers in his army rather he is looking for men who what come may they will still stay at their duty post not minding what the situation looks like. Do you know that you are free from the operation of the devil when you are in his territory? But to be honest with you, you are not, this is because you become his experimental tool. You don't have the ability, capability and energy to stand against his shorts of arrows, but do you know that by the time you know your placement in God he becomes scared of you even though most times he tries his luck to see if he can trust you down from your stand point. One thing we all know about light is that it brightens dark place. Light is a very essentially commodity to man. With the absence of light, there won't be sight. It means that light is what makes things/ bring things to visibility or to sight. I choose to sing this song by Dusin. Going through the lyrics I discovered how powerful light is. When darkness is at the sight of light, it evaporate at just the glimpse of light. That gives me a better understanding on the scripture that says "the light shines in darkness and the darkness could not comprehend it". When I was a bit younger, I usually on a touch light and I will try covering the light with my palm but the light will still reflect on my hand that's because at a glimpse of a very tiny light darkness runs away. I love the topic so personal cause darkness might not just be the normal darkness we know that is night or room that is closed. But situations also are darkness, not understanding a concept is also a darkness. One day in class and my maths teacher was teaching, he was trying to teach us a concept but because I never understood what he was saying at that time I argued with him for a while but by the time I had light on what he was saying I just felt relief. However, I’ve chosen to sing it not because of its popularity but because of God’s mercies. Reflecting on how last year started and how it ended, I can confidently say I didn’t make it into this new year by my own strength—it was purely God’s mercy. Last year was filled with hopes, expectations, and goals, some of which I didn’t achieve. I can't deny the fact that all this while that I have been away I've missed a lot. But not with standing, being among those participating in this week's event is awesome. In this week, I am going to to doing a cover of a song by Nathaniel Bassey title "Jesus iye" Nathaniel Bassey is a Gospel singing, a pastor and a song write. God has used him to be a blessing to the life of many people through his ministrations both within and outside his country home (Nigeria) and beyond. He is a musician that I love listening to. I choose to sing this song not because I wanted to sing a song for this week. But I begin to cast my mind back on what the Lord has done for me it is something that I can't imagin or explain. When I thought all hope is gone, then I begiqn to see him doing it from an unexpected angle. One thing I know with God now from this experience is that when you think that all hope is lost then that is when He shows up but by the time you are feeling you can do it, He never show up. So he shows up when you strength is gone and hope lost, then He strengthens and quicken you. Impossibility does not exist with God, it is only us that think that there is impossibility and that is because we don't sorely depend, rely on Him. I got a work far away from my home town and I had nobody close by. The funny thing is that I carried no food, neither was I having money but he connected me with a good Samaritan who feed me and made me feel at home. This is because he decides to do it in his own special way. Know it that you are special before God, and He is willing to shocking you beyond measures and imagination. Makes the impossible possible. I have been contemplating which song to cover, as it has been a while since I posted a video cover in this community. The month has just began, and it is looking bright already, therefore we are trusting God that it will end glorious. Although the scriptures makes us to understand that better is the end of a matter than it's beginning. Though it has been a while I posted here due to some circumstances beyond me, but am happy to be back again. I have missed all the melodies, the organization and the wonderful entries from you guys. For this week creative Sunday, am going to be doing a cover of a song title YAWEH by Hillsong. Am not doing the cover alone but a long side my church choir. The acustic guitar was played by a friend and another led the song while the choir backed up, I played the piano. I choose to share the song with us because, with the current situation we fine ourselves in this country, it is something we can't by any means com back to the way things where before.
