You cannot pronounce his name easily: Juiced? Well it's an anti- artist name lads and gents! He's a musician first. Inspired by the likes of Gino Vannelli, Todd Rundgren, Miles Davis, Frank Zappa, Boz Scaggs, John Martyn, Tubes, Terry Callier and 10cc. He started out as a drummer (1979, before turning his hand to writing. Recording since 1980, releasing digitally since 2005.He describes himself as a "zelfbevlekkende, narcistische, selfkickende, obsessieve, uitknijpende liedjesmaker" which loosely translates (I think) as a "self-denigrating, narcissistic, self-flagellating squeezer-out of songs" as freely translated by Tom Robinson. "Bomb Won´t Go Off featured both on his BBC6 Radio show and BBC6 Mixtape in november 2012 as did "Stupid Song(s)in 2013. "Chalky" did that trick again in 2016. Also reguarly played on different radiostations, like Croydon radio.

Not Now
From the new album "Just say kNOw, released May 2018. Promo: https://goo.gl/aC3oav What do ya think? Nothing new maybe. To me, this is just a simple, carefree and upbeat, funky tune from a restless guy that loves to dance but shyness holds him back.... Marvin Gaye wrote an irresistable dance song about that (Got To Give It Up) to keep up with the disco rage in 1977. Well, I'm getting a little stiff maybe in the hips, but don't dare me! I'm not trying to grow up, that's all. Not now! Is it my grey hair that's increasing? Love life all over again. I won't grow up. NOT NOW! Dancing can surely help to reduce the age problem. Stay a kid. Love the rhythm of life. So many ways to do it! O, but I loved creating this little dittie.I wrote this very quick with a sort of naive confidence. All it took was a ball of spontanious energy. that you can't buy anywhere. Lyrics: One day I'll be a big boy But not now, not now! I want to have fun With my new toy Just let me move Move me to the rhythm of your life One day I'll get my act together But not now, not now! I never fellt better Just let me move Move me to the rhythm of your life

Dancing Dutchman
Back to the late seventies dancefloor! A little nostalgic throwback to my numerous dance moves I left on the dancefloor hearing those seventies soul (Chic, Kool & The Gang, Rose Royce, KC & The Sunshine Band) in those after midnight discotheques. Proud of the melodic chorus and the groove, which convinced me to put on my dancing shoes again.

Chalky
What you hear is the song that opens the 2016 album "Open Up My Parachute (release 04-04-2016): Chalky. The supporting promo video (https://goo.gl/K6n3fc) shows all the pictures that have been involved with the artwork. You can see the changes in design, colour and fonts. Yes, it's all in a lowbudget DIY way that keeps it personal and what drives me to do it like this. My rhythmic side pushed forward and I seem to use each frame as a rhythm response to any accent in the music. Well, it's a funky track so I had to. Who is this... "Chalky"? It's inspired by that afro-american guy, who played this cool, smooth survivor in the thrilling TV series Boardwalk Empire. Chalky (White), a ironic nickname. I liked the sound of it and it fit perfectly with this "dangerous" groove I've been working on. Featured on Tom Robinson BBC6 Mixtape of 12-06-2016 http://goo.gl/HqCzul

Finger Ballet On WB Strings
Relax now. Instrumental ballad. Wrote this on piano, couldn't finish it. My old pal WB (Wijnand Brant) helped me out with his virtuoso acoustic sologuitar. We played it live, later I edited and finished it off with orchestral sounds.
