Children, pregnant woman, elderly people and innocent civilians are being slaughtered, and this should not be!All the Syrian people want, all the people of Palestine want is to be free. However, satan has unleashed great punishment on them by entering into the hearts of leaders that seek to dominate and destroy one another.Grant merciful and precious Heart that there be an end to this reign of terror. Replace to leaders who seek to lead by the use of brutal force and who desire to dominate others with leaders who love You. Have mercy on all who suffer from war, come into their hearts and allow them to see You so that they can become your followers, an if they already follow You, fill their hearts with hope, joy and the ability to endure until the war stops. Amen.

    Morning Prayer

1 Kings 3:5-12At Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said, "Ask what I should give you." And Solomon said, "You have shown great and steadfast love to your servant my father David, because he walked before you in faithfulness, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart toward you; and you have kept for him this great and steadfast love, and have given him a son to sit on his throne today. And now, O LORD my God, you have made your servant king in place of my father David, although I am only a little child; I do not know how to go out or come in. And your servant is in the midst of the people whom you have chosen, a great people, so numerous they cannot be numbered or counted. Give your servant therefore an understanding mind to govern your people, able to discern between good and evil; for who can govern this your great people?" It pleased the Lord that Solomon had asked this. God said to him, "Because you have asked this, and have not asked for yourself long life or riches, or for the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern what is right, I now do according to your word. Indeed I give you a wise and discerning mind; no one like you has been before you and no one like you shall arise after you."

    Evening Prayer

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on the children, elderly, woman and civilians in Gaza and Palestine. They have been oppressed for years by Hamas and by those in Israel that are bent on domination. They are caught in the middle with nowhere to go. Many of them are our Christian brothers and sisters and we know we have a responsibility to You oh Lord to pray for them.Lord Christ, set the people of Gaza and Palestine free. Touch the hearts of those who follow Hamas, and those within the Israeli leadership who seem to be more militant so that they may convert to you Christ. Bring a revival to Palestine and Israel, that they may become a people in Your image Christ. This is the only gateway to peace amongst Palestine and Israel, you as their King and as their God. Amen.

Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. 3 But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

    Afternoon Prayer

Romans 8:12-25Brothers and sisters, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh-- for if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received a spirit of adoption. When we cry, "Abba! Father!" it is that very Spirit bearing witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ-- if, in fact, we suffer with him so that we may also be glorified with him. I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory about to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the children of God; for the creation was subjected to futility, not of its own will but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and will obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning in labor pains until now; and not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly while we wait for adoption, the redemption of our bodies. For in hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what is seen? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.

  22. 75

    Evening Prayer

James 5:7 Patience in Suffering7 Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains.
