Episode 1: The Inspiration of George Lakey
Why Just Us Doing Good? Because I heard George Lakey tell a story about ending mountain top removal in West Virginia, and I believed right then that regular people can make a difference in their communities. For this very first episode, I get to speak to the man himself George Lakey, and he shares this story of how he (and a growing collective of others) changed the fate for mountain admirers everywhere. He truly is an inspiration for what we can do when we band together and take action. Be sure to look up George Lakey and find his new book How We Win: A Guide to Nonviolent Direct Action Campaigning.
