His research led him to Roehl and our on-the-job CDL-A training program. David then became a certified driver trainer to help new drivers learn the skills they need to be successful as truck driver. David has since come off the road, and he's working with drivers, driver trainers and those who want to be driver trainers.

CEO Rick Roehl and John Spiros, Roehl's VP of Safety & Claims, join Travis to talk about our recent ATA President's Award. Roehl Transport is one of North America’s safest trucking companies as recognized by the American Trucking Associations (ATA). Roehl Transport is a 5-time recipient of the ATA’s President’s Award, the trucking industry’s highest safety honor. 

In this episode, Travis is joined by Alec M. & Gavin G. who both recently became driver trainers with Roehl. Alec is a driver in Roehl's National Flatbed Fleet and Gavin is a driver in Roehl's Flatbed Great Lakes Fleet. In this episode, Ron T. talks to Travis about his 25 years as a driver with Roehl Transport. They are also joined by Ryan S., a Roehl fleet manager. Ron recently retired, and he offered insight into why he stayed with Roehl. Ron noted that the company lives our values, and he reflects on the Roehl Way - the trucking industry's most advanced safe driving program.
