On the campus side, Justin and Chad discuss the recent 21+ Dive night, a much anticipated event with mixed results, and Gustieware. On the state and national level they discuss Higher Education budget cuts used to prop up K-12 education, among other things.

This week KGSM installed a device for taking calls on the air. Zach and Spence experiment with it, and figure it out just in time for a very special call. Also, Zach takes us up in the rudder-less chopper for a weather broadcast just before the pick of the week.

We play some new music from The Blend, and on this week’s “Breaking the Norm” Luke plays bathroom attendant in one of the campus bathrooms. Tune in for another great show.

Danny Bauer and Luke Garrison (formerly of the Spoke, and The Kaleb and Stephen Show) introduce the new show. “A brand new semester for fun and entertainment,” as Danny calls it.

The second installment of Across the Pond, this week Jackie Cash and McCartney challenge Student Senate Co-Presidents Chris Edelbrock and Tony Spain to a debate about the issues facing the campus.

Kaleb explains Pommel, Stephen talks about the latest fraternity to join our campus, and the gang discusses homecoming and other events in the week’s news, plus the usual banter.

Luke introduces  “Breaking the Norm” and discusses his Terrific Tuesday tradition. Plus a new question of the week and, as always the gang takes your calls.

John and Greg discuss the new football stadium and John proposes the idea of a progressive tuition system wherein students involved in more organizations, and who get better grades receive a lower tuition than those who take the “C’s get degrees” approach. As John says, “it’s a lot like the Catholic concept of Hell.”

This week Charlie Strey, Director of Residential Life, joins us for another installment of The World in Focus. We discuss the pressing residential life issues of the day, and learn a little more about what it means to live on and interact with a residential campus.
