Kickin It With KB!

Join KB and the crew to discuss topics, good and bad, that are most talked about today. Us 90s kids have so much to say, and can ALMOST all agree to the things we talk about. But when we disagree, BOY is it a conversation to watch AND listen to!! Tune in to see disagreements, arguments, attitudes, laughter, jokes, etc., all come together for a good time! -With love, KB

  1. 35

Double Standards (2) - Spending Money

Akeem, Kyneye, and Staqz feel women should not have anything to say about what men (which most of the time, are head of the household) spend their money on if all of the bills are paid. KB and Shakyra disagree with that 100%. Should women have an input on what their significant other spends on things that do not pertain to the bills?

  2. 34

    DOUBLE STANDARDS

What are some of the common double standards that we see today? Jobs, child support, dating, jail sentences?

  3. 33

    Conclusion - Generational Curse (4)

Have you ever stopped yourself from talking to someone about how you feel because you care so much about their feelings over your own? Tune in to see how we can relate.

  4. 32

    Generational Curses (3) - Abuse

Shakyra and Akeem get more detailed in the abuse they experienced as children. They are determined not to continue this curse that has been running through their family for years.

  5. 31

    Abuse & Hoarding - Generational Curses (2)

Kyneye speaks on how hoarding things has been a common trait within his family. Akeem and Shakyra speak on the physical abuse they had to deal with while growing up until they were old enough to understand, and eventually forgive their mom for what she had done to them in the past.Disclaimer: You will hear our children screaming and playing during this episode

  6. 30

    Generational Curses - Alcoholism (1)

KB hasn't heard about ALL of the stories of the people throughout her family that have struggled with alcoholism. But she has had her fair share of judgement from people who think her PURPOSELY choosing NOT to drink is borderline ridiculous.

  7. 29

    REJECTION (2)

Do women wear certain clothing to the club and/or when they go out, so they can PURPOSELY reject men? Or is it MOSTLY because they want to look good when they go out?

  8. 28

    REJECTION

Why do people have a problem accepting rejection? Are they insecure? Is it their ego? What do you think?

  9. 27

    Mandatory Paternity Test (3)

Child support can significantly effect a man that is a father, whether he wants to be one or not. Sometimes a woman can take advantage of the system, and be vengeful to the baby father when it comes to child support. This is another major reason, in our opinion (4 out of 5 of us at least lol), why paternity test should be mandatory.

  10. 26

    Mandatory Paternity Test (2)

Shakyra stands her ground about not having mandatory paternity test. Will the rest of the crew understand her position as to why she feels that way?

  11. 25

    Mandatory Paternity Test

Should it be MANDATORY for a paternity test to be taken after a baby is born?

  12. 24

    CONSENT (4)!!

For the first time ever since we have started this podcast.....KB and Shakyra disagree.

  13. 23

CONSENT!! (3) *Akeem Getting Flown Out?!?!*

What if Akeem had the opportunity to get flown out by a female best friend? Would KB be okay with that, or do you think she wouldn't let it slide not one bit? Tune in and find out.

  14. 22

    CONSENT!! (2) *Celebrities*

You know what groupies are, right? Well, according to some of them that have spoken on podcasts, interviews, etc., have said that (allegedly) some of them require you to hang with, sleep with, or do ANYTHING with their friends before you actually get to do anything with that said celebrity. Should the groupies/women accept that or should a conversation still be had before anything happens?

  15. 21

CONSENT (1) *Flewd out = Automatic sex*

We have all heard the term "Flewd Out" (credit to Young Miami lol). Most of the time, it's a woman being flown out to meet up with someone. Does being flown out AUTOMATICALLY mean that sex HAS to happen between the woman and the person she flew out to go see? Let us know what you think below.

  16. 20

Can Married and Single People Hangout? Part 3

In closing, people who are single should not encourage behavior that is disrespectful to their friends marriage. People who are married have a responsibility to keep their marriage in tact by not doing things they know would potentially ruin their marriage. They also should not let their single friends influence them to do things they KNOW would harm their marriage while they are out.

  17. 19

Can Married and Single People Hangout? Part 2

Do single people have a justifiable reason to talk to or pursue married women/men?

  18. 18

Can Married And Single People Hangout?

People believe that single individuals can have a bad influence on a married individual depending on where they decide to hangout. Some people feel like it doesn't matter, because the decisions that are made by a married/single person, falls on themselves and no else around them plays a part in their decision making. What do you think?

  19. 17

    MODERN DAY WOMEN PART 3

Are men and women TOO comfortable with their relationships to be with a person they know would treat them right? They know their significant other is the definition of a "modern day woman" (or man in some cases). So why stay?

  20. 16

    MODERN DAY WOMEN PT. 2

Do women have a say in the financial decisions if her significant other is making ALL/MOST of the money? Are men actually okay with "modern day women" because they like/love their naked/half-naked posts on social media? Is the public shaming for "modern day women" from men just a trend? Tune in to listen to what the crew thinks.

  21. 15

    MODERN DAY WOMEN

There are so many men stating publicly why they WOULD NOT date a modern day woman. The many definitions of a "modern day" woman all have one agreeable opinion...that "modern day" women ARE NOT WORTH pursuing at all! All of our different opinions definitely resulted in some arguments and hostility this time around. You don't want to miss this!

  22. 14

    Letter For Moms

To all of my mothers out there....you are loved, you are cared for, you are appreciated. Though life gets hard sometimes, know you are the BEST mother you can be. You are doing an awesome job!!

  23. 13

    19 AND PREGNANT?!?! (Part 3)

Closing remarks and thoughts from KB and Jamal might surprise you...

  24. 12

    19 AND PREGNANT?!?! (Part 2)

Akeem tells the story from his perspective. We both talk about what certain people said about us, or to us, from people we never would've expected to say anything negative about us. That part of our journey was disappointing, hurtful, and sad.

  25. 11

    19 AND PREGNANT?!?!

A lot of people have not heard our (Akeem's and KB's) story....so here it is.

  26. 10

Supporting/Not Supporting Black Businesses Part 3

It's AMAZING how we all can come together, as a people and as a community (the black community), when there is injustice against our race. The question is; Why can't we come together when it comes to generational wealth for US as a community? You've heard the saying, "crabs in a bucket", before, correct? That is, unfortunately the mentality we are struggling with as within our community. Tune in to listen to our reasons why supporting can be challenging, and why not supporting can be disheartening for black entrepreneurs that lack the support.

    M/W A.S. - Men Think It's Okay to Cheat?

Some men like to think that if you don't get caught, then it's not considered cheating. Some of them also think that if a woman has an issue with another woman that is in their significant other's life, that she is automatically insecure about the 'other woman'. Tune in to see what we think. -KB

  30. 6

    Men/Women Ain't Sh*+

Plenty of people have been saying they are not in a relationship/married because men AND women are trash! Let's take a look and see why women think men are trash first, and then why men think women are trash.

  31. 5

Accountability Part 5...in Hip Hop Music

The conversation continues with talking about key points that Kanye West made during his interviews with multiple sources. Do we lack in accountability when it comes to the music we listen to, and/or the music that (mostly black artists) put out?

  32. 4

    Accountability Part 4: Celebrities...Kanye West

Here we are at Part 4 y'all! (whew!) This one got a little intense. Kanye West has been in the news for a moment now, and it seems like it has died down a little. But you know for our segment we HAD to tag him in this conversation. Though we don't know Kanye West personally, it seems like just because of who he is, people will NEVER hold him accountable for the things he says and does. Then you have other people, that agree with what he said, but don't agree with the way he went about it with his truth. Which side are you on? Let us know!

  33. 3

Accountability Part 3: Holding Yourself Accountable

Do you think you hold yourself accountable when it comes to relationships, finances, or life all the way around? Tune in to hear why we think we don't hold ourselves accountable like we should.

  34. 2

Accountability Part 2: Women Playing Victim?

Do women ALWAYS play victim when it comes to accountability? Akeem and Kyneye sure think so. For some reason, women (supposedly) won't take ownership of the things they do when a relationship/marraige ends. Let us know if you disagree or agree with them.

  35. 1

    Accountability....or Lack There Of...

The lack of accountability is (sometimes)the reason why a lot of relationships/situations don't turn out the way you feel like they should. Join us by listening to why we think people don't hold themselves accountable, and don't hold other people accountable for their actions. This conversation went so well, that we had to break it down into parts. Whew! Just wait...With love, KB <3
