    Lee Thomas grew up near the Gulf Coast of Texas in the small town of Santa Fe.  He tells us about mustering up the courage to sing at an open mic night at a restaurant in Houston in 2019.  He's been writing songs and performing ever since.  His latest single is "Pretty Woman of Mine."

    Adysen Malik hails from Edna, Texas located in the southern part of the state.  She's a ranch girl who fell in love with theater, then made the transition to country music.  Her latest single is "White Dress Direction."

    Katie Beth Mihm is from Borger, Texas in the northern Texas Panhandle.  She tells us about balancing her health struggles with the demands of being a touring musician.  Her latest single is "You Ain't No Cowgirl."

    Kyle Garrett

    Kyle Garrett started playing drums at the age of 8 in a blues band, covering Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn covers.  He helped start the popular "Texas Toast" podcast, which cultivated his love of Texas country music.  He's transitioned from the podcast to writing and recording his own Texas country songs, and has released the single "Who's Keeping Score."

    Lubbock's Jaydon Grissom is a Texas Tech student making his debut on Texas radio.  He tells us about his early start in music at the age of 8 at Lubbock's School of Rock and tells about the thriving Lubbock music scene.  His debut single is called "Better Off Alone."

    Josh Abbott of the Josh Abbott Band talks with KTFB about getting started in the Lubbock music scene several years ago and how he found some success in Nashville.  But he eventually came back home to Texas and has enjoyed a career with a long list of hits on Texas radio.

    Roo Arcus is an Aussie from Down Under who has a deep love for the Lone Star State.  He's stepped onto the Texas Music Scene via DeLeon, Texas.  Roo talks about his success in Australia with several number one and top ten hits, and how he developed such a love for Texas and the Texas country music scene.  His latest single is called "Lonesome for the Lone Star State."

    Galveston's Sandee June recently celebrated her very first #1 hit with "Hurricane," a song that resonates with her coastal roots.  We joined Sandee in her hometown to talk about starting her music career at age 50 and her journey to the top of the T3R chart.

    Austin's Rick Trevino has a string of top 10 hits during the 90's, with songs like "Running Out of Reasons to Run" and "Bobbie Ann Mason."  He's still making music with his latest single "The Ride."  Rick joined us in the KTFB studio to talk about his successful run in Nashville and the new music he's recording.

    The Dirt Road Troubadours are from the Pineywoods of Northwest Louisiana.  They stopped by the KTFB studio to talk about their love for Texas music and their upbringing in the country.  They also talk about their new single "If I Fall."  It's based on the true story of the death of a close friend and family member.

    Aaron Loy

    Aaron Loy of Aledo, Texas has a new hit on the charts called "God Made a Cowboy."  Aaron tells us about his fast start in the Texas music scene, but he slowed it down to pursue a career in the medical field.  He had a very close relationship with his father, and when he passed away recently, Aaron decided to pick the music dream back up and give it all he has.

    Benjamin Cole

    Benjamin Cole of New Braunfels, Texas is a newcomer to the Texas music scene.  His first recorded single is called "Beer's on Me."  Benjamin tells us about moving to Florida with his family, but Texas kept calling him home.  A college buddy encouraged him to sing and play guitar, and now he's making the leap into a career in music.

    Houston's Tilluride stops in for a fun visit. The whole gang is here!  They talk about getting the band together and recording some very special songs written by their manager Anthony Smith.  They come from a variety of backgrounds from Tejano to Heavy Metal, but they come together to bring a unique sound to the Texas music scene.

    Brandon Howard - Howard County

    Brandon Howard of Burleson, Texas stops by the KTFB Studio to talk about his journey from growing up in Southwest Louisiana to setting down roots in the DFW area.  He tells an amazing story of how donating a kidney saved his life.  A medical condition forced him to end his career as a welder, but opened up the door to a full time career in music.
