Going along with the theme of this past weekend's holiday, the Fourth of July, this podcast is discussing patriotic music and will remind you of some of the many things that you should think about when you are performing such music.  In your lesson books, numbers 22, 23, 39, 55, 61, 73, 79, 87, 101, and 116 are all Patriotic tunes.  

For those of you who are considering auditioning for county band next winter, knowing your chromatic scale is a must.  For everybody else, knowing your chromatic scale will make everything that you play in band much easier!  It will help you learn all of your fingerings.  This podcast will help you learn your chromatic scale.
