Songwriter Sarah McAdam and Author Dana Davis

8-9 Musican and Songwriter Sarah McAdams:We are currently crowdfunding for our upcoming album and for our impending tour in August, and we are asking for your support via financial backing and/or sharing the links! Here's a bit about why. Our lead singer, Sarah, while dealing with mental health issues therefore put off work and sent back to her home in Fredericton, New Brunswick turned to her best friends for support, including her brother-from-another-mother and duo-mate Greg. Greg had been living out west working hard to make a good life for himself and his daughter, back home in NB. One night Greg called Sarah saying that after two years he couldn't stand being away from his friends, his family, his local music scene and most importantly, his daughter, any longer. Music had always been a beautiful solace to them both and they had been playing in a duo together off and on for a decade, and so in their mutual need of "something to make it all worth it", Greg made the decision to move back east with the plan of starting a rock band together. (He actually booked his ticket that night!) Brian (lead guitar, cat aficionado) was an obvious choice to add to the group as he, Greg and Sarah had been friends longer than any of them could remember, and Brian is beyond good - his solos make people feel. Deep feels. (And he and Greg once played in a band together that featured Brians cat.) From 9-10 PM We will be joined by Author Dana Davis : Dana Davis is an award-winning author of fantasy and science fiction, with an entertainment background in stage and television. When she is not writing, she loves to read, hike, travel, and investigate purportedly haunted locations. Dana lives in Los Angeles with her husband, where she is currently writing another book.

The Band Cyphier Joins us with some new music

Cyphier is an industrial/electro artist from London, Ontario. Consisting of Louis Cyphier (vocals, electronics) and Jason Norwood (synthesizers, percussion, vocals), Cyphier formed in 2015 out of a desire to explore varied musical influences. Norwood, aside from running his label Hope Mansion Recordings, has been recording various forms of electronic and alternative music for 25 years. The pair originally met around the turn of the century while Louis was a DJ in London.Cyphier’s first album, Overthought, was recorded as a concept record with a heavy anti-suicide message and released in early fall of 2015. 2016 saw the band release their follow-up, Subversion, while on tour in Eastern Canada. The second album blends the experimental sound of Overthought while adding a more danceable touch. Both albums were released through Hope Mansion Recordings.

Author Gary Starta Releases A New Book

Gary Starta is a former journalist who studied English and Journalism at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. His love for science fiction compelled him to write his first novel What Are You Made Of? published in 2006. Inspired by Isaac Asimov, the science fiction novel focuses on intelligent artificial life and whether sentient androids should possess the same rights as humans. The androids in Starta's novel are created as hybrids - part machine, part human - further blurring the line between human and machine. Starta foresees a near future where humans will be forced to decide if intelligent machinery is indeed a life form. Possibly, in this near future, some humans will possess computer enhancements to overcome disabilities becoming hybrids themselves. The idea came to Melissa of a way to help the indie authors, who have barely any budget to promote their work she would help them spread the word about their books she set up a spotlight to help them out. Request came flooding in for spotlights from children’s books to fantasy from romance to non-fiction the spotlights were booked until end of December, she was turning authors away due to the late date they would get their spotlights. Authors Kyle Perkins and Lila Vale

It was only recently that Kyle Perkins discovered his love of putting his imaginative daydreams in writing for others to enjoy. He founded and managed some of the largest text-based roleplaying groups on Facebook, which sparked his passion for storytelling and helped him sharpen his skills as an author. Since the January 2016 release of his debut dystopian novel, Reddened Wasteland, Kyle has published three other works with plans to release several more in the upcoming months, including the second installment of the Reddened Wasteland series. He’s a dog person, an Aquarius, and he lives in Florida, though he’ll tell you he lives on the internet.Lila has spent more time in her own mind than she has being “present” in the real world, to be honest. When it comes to talking about herself, everything seems so mundane compared to the things she has seen and done in her imagination. This may have something to do with why she decided to start putting it in to words to share with others.Lila grew up in a semi-rural town in Florida. She has always been an avid reader and writer - though she didn’t have the cojones to publish anything before now. She is also a huge fan of wasting time on the internet. She has been a waitress, a secretary, worked in retail and done manual labor… all of which paid much better than hustling as an indie author, but were nowhere near as rewarding. She loves her life as a writer and wouldn’t have it any other way. She will eat ramen every day for the rest of her life if it means that she can keep telling stories.

    Author and Musician Dan Hollifield

Dan Hollifield was born in November of 1957 at almost the same moment that Sputnik II was launched. However, the two events are not, in fact, related. His father was a machinist, graduating from the General Motors Institute in the mid 1950s. After fleeing the harsh Michigan winters for a return to the families ancestral home, Dan's father began working in Oak Ridge, TN making toys for the physicists to play with. Dan's mother is an artist specializing in oils, china painting, glass painting, and multimedia home-crafts.When the Standardized Aptitude Tests were introduced in Tennessee elementary schools, Dan was revealed to have the reading level of a tenth grade student. Unfortunately, he was only in the third grade at the time.In the fourth grade he was allowed to go to the school library for the first time, where he checked out two books. Jules Verne's Journey To The Center Of The Earth and An H G Wells Omnibus which contained five of Wells' most famous novels. One more Standardized Test occurred later that year, and fourth grader Dan had risen to a twelfth grade reading level, with a timed reading speed of 400 words per minute. However, he has never been good at any sports, other than dodgeball. Even later than that, his family moved yet again, this time to Athens, GA. He has lived in or near Athens for the remainder of his life.

Gary Starta is a former journalist who studied English and Journalism at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. His love for science fiction compelled him to write his first novel What Are You Made Of? published in 2006. The line between biological life form and mechanical life form continues to be examined in 2010's Gods of the Machines.9 Incarnate, along with its preceding Caitlin Diggs (series) novels, Demon Inhibitions, Extreme Liquidation and Blood Web are reminiscent of the The X-files television/movie series. Contemporary authors Laurell K. Hamilton, Rachel Caine, Jim Butcher and Kelly Armstrong also fuel his aspiration to create paranormal suspense. Watch for Diggs and Shay books soon.Starta's crime novella ' Murder By Association' blends mystery with forensic investigation. It is a departure from previous books because it contains no science fiction or paranormal elements. Its follow up is 2012's Kindred Killers. Additionally, Starta foresees his 2008 novella ' Alzabreah's Garden ' - a fantasy romance - as another out-of-the-box effort. Kriss talks about her journey and talks about the looks, the pathatic words when she would tell her story. Many did not want to hear it because it was not a woman and men refused to hear it because it would go against the macho image. Kriss hopes her story will help someone who is dealing with a loved one who has Breast Cancer- she hopes it will help moms teach their sons to know what to look for and if something is found to get it checked out. She does not want anyone else to know the loss she suffered because of Breast Cancer in her husband. This show is a must listen!!!!9-10pmKim Carmichael began writing ten years ago when her love of happy endings inspired her to create her own. She has a weakness for bad boys and techno geeks, and married her own computer whiz after he proved he could keep her all her gadgets running. When not writing, she can usually be found slathered in sunscreen trolling Los Angeles and helping top doctors build their practices. You can find Kim Carmichael at:www.kimcarmichaelnovels.comWhen you sign up for her newsletter you get a free short story, The Drive. You can also find her on facebook at kimcarmichaelnovels or follow her on twitter at @kimcarmichael4Amazon Link - https://www.amazon.com/Kim-Carmichael/e/B0098RNFUI/ref=dp_byline_cont_ebooks_1

Musician and Song writer DI Auger

The DI AUGER project is an Electronic, Industrial, Goth Rock hybrid musical endeavor, self-defined as NEO INDUSTRIAL GOTHIC ROCK. It is the brainchild of Artist/Musician Chris Lefort. It can be best described as a lyrically driven construct of industrial rhythms, fused with underlying classical melodies, churning guitar riffs, and theatrical Punk-like vocals. The result can be, at times, hypnotic, haunting, angry, and often full of dread.Classically trained as a pianist and formerly trained on percussion Chris’ tastes were drawn to the darker musical motions of bands like “Black Sabbath” at a very early age. Influences expanded and evolved and many remain to this day. Major inspiration continues from artists and groups such as Wendy Carlos, Skinny Puppy, Current 93, Basil Poledouris, Slayer, The Sisters of Mercy, Nine Inch Nails, Prodigy, and Claudio Simonetti’s GOBLIN. BLACK SWANS AT DAWN represents DI AUGER’S seventh independent release, and third full length album through his production studio CRAWLSPACE PRODUCTIONS. Links to DI AUGER’s music can be found all over the internet for download and streaming, and availability is expanding rapidly. DI AUGER is available via iTunes, Amazon Music, Spotify and a multitude of other platforms. Currently, CD BABY, BANDCAMP, SOUNDCLOUD and YOUTUBE offer a fair sized collection of DI AUGER’s works to date.http://www.cdbaby.com/Artist/DiAugerhttps://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6sJbSc7Zr8-GsikmnFB_9whttps://soundcloud.com/di-auger https://diauger.bandcamp.com/Previous DI AUGER releases SIX PLAYS ‘TIL DOOMDAY (2013) EP HORSE STORM RISING (2013-14) EP WHITE LABEL/BLACK NOISE (2014) EP

Author and Funny Woman Taylor Dawn

Taylor Dawn began writing as an item to check off her bucket list. She resides in the southernmost part of Illinois, right on the mighty Mississippi river. She enjoys the quiet country life with her husband, son and the many farm animals that make up the rest of the family. Deciding that farm life was just a little too mundane, Taylor began writing romance and fantasy to liven things up, so far so good. Before starting her writing career, Taylor entered the field of cosmetology. When she isn't writing, she can usually be found sitting around a table making people laugh. She has always wanted to be a standup comic. She loves pulling practical jokes, dresses up in a costume every Halloween and believes that dancing is the key to a happy life (even if you aren't a good dancer). She believes that life shouldn't be taken too seriously, we will never get out alive anyway. More than anything, she is a kid at heart, she doesn't believe in bedtimes, eating everything on her plate, or having ice cream only for dessert. Her favorite quote is by Dr. Seuss..."Why fit in, when you were born to stand out."

Erotica and Horror Author Hydra M Star

Hydra M. Star was originally one half of a set of twin fetuses conceived during the holiday season of 1977, but ate her twin prior to birth. Almost from birth, like most children, she had an intense interest in all things mysterious and magical. As she aged, her taste matured and darkened from Disney-esque fairy stories in childhood to Erotic Horror today. Evidence of this personal evolution and perverting of childhood things can most readily be seen in her Little Red Riding Hood inspired novella, Candy, Blood, and Sex as well as her recent contribution to the on going anthology series Fucked Up Fair Tales. In addition to writing, Hydra designs and hand-burns a line of pyrography items featuring symbols and signs from various occult and magical traditions. She is also the publisher of Infernal Ink Magazine, which she uses as a platform to bring the most twisted and sexually depraved horror and dark fiction she can find to the world.

    Simply Seeta

Making a Change in the WorldYou know, its never been about fame and fortune for me. I am a proud Wife, Mother, Friend, Aunt, Sister, LPN, Activist, Supporter, Employee, Community Contributor and Citizen. I can never get enough of spreading the word to my community and my nation about how we all need to get involved, make a difference and educate ourselves.I ran for a School Board Seat in Brevard County in 2008 because I wanted to make a difference. I didn’t win, but I learned so much about our community and I continue to support the school systems. I am so encouraged by all of the great friends, colleagues and acquaintances that support me; and that allow me to encourage them.My book “Eighteen Brothers and Sisters” was burning inside of me. I knew that by getting my story out, I would be able to touch people and create a platform for many issues. I have had many opportunities to speak to groups about my book; and so many times I get “Thank you for sharing your story about Domestic Violence”, and then other times “Wow, you are spreading the word about education and taking control of your life”. Both issues are very near and dear to my heart. I want people to have hope, to have a dream of something better for themselves-whether they are struggling with abuse and how to take control of their lives- or if they just have a burning desire to contribute. My radio show came out of a need for more of a consistent public platform. I am on every Monday from 1pm – 2pm, on WMEL 1060 and www.1060WMEL.com . My show,Viewpoints with Seeta and Friends, is a balanced, kitchen table topics platform where our guests can feel safe about talking about issues affecting their communities, their families and their country. All we try to do is encourage people to educate themselves and make a stand for what you believe in, what can help your community and leave a legacy in this world. No excuses, you can and you DO make a difference!
