May 10, 2026 | Week 3 of Foolish Church (1 Corinthians 1:18-31)
The Foolishness of the Cross Salvation is a manifestation of God’s power rather than human achievement. While the world pursues prestige through athletic competition, intellectualism, and wealth, the "word of the cross" intentionally subverts these "Lego towers" of pride. This message appears foolish to those blinded by ego, yet it remains the singular, life-changing agenda for believers. God chose the unremarkable and weak to shame the wise, ensuring no human can boast in His presence. True joy is found only by surrendering self-sufficiency and boasting exclusively in the grace of the crucified Christ.

May 3, 2026 | Week 2 of Foolish Church (1 Corinthians 1:10-17)
Foolishly United In Christ Christian unity is a choice and a divine command, requiring believers to proactively resolve fractures through honest, direct communication. It is not the absence of problems, but the decision to value siblings in Christ over personal offenses or the desire to be right. Conflict arises when loyalty is divided by "celebrity culture" and human rankings, yet the cross of Christ demands that He remain our sole hero. True unity is forged in His blood, creating a family where earthly designations fail and the world sees the gospel's power through our grace- filled reconciliation.

February 22, 2026 | Week 9 of Acts: Power and Promise Pt.3 (Acts 26:1-23)
Compellingly Clear: If we are going to see the world with redemptive vision, it means we will be aware of opportunities around us to share about Jesus. When opportunities come our way, how do we make the best of them? How can Christians be compellingly clear? We can do so by knowing and sharing our testimony: the story of how Jesus saved us and transformed us from our old way of life to becoming a new creation in Him. Visit lifebridgegb.org for more info

February 15, 2026 | Week 8 of Acts: Power and Promise Pt.3 (Acts 25:23-27, 26:24-32)
Seeing With Redemptive Vision... Because of Jesus, we see the world and the people in it differently. The Apostle Paul calls it "having the mind of Christ." One major way Jesus teaches us to think is that we see the people in our proximity with redemptive vision; that is, we see every person we meet as someone in whose life God has the ability to write an amazing story of grace. Not only that, but as His disciples He has invited us to partner with Him in persuading others to know Him personally. In this week's passage, we will read more about the Apostle Paul's redemptive vision for even the most unlikely people to follow Jesus and learn about God's purpose for every believer to experience the joy of sharing the good news.

February 8, 2026 | Week 7 of Acts: Power and Promise Pt.3 (Acts 25:1-27)
Satisfied and Secure... Fear and anxiety are only natural in a world full of uncertainty, but Scripture points us to a deeper reality: believers are truly safe in Christ. Our security does not depend on favorable circumstances or knowable outcomes, but on belonging to a Savior who reigns over every authority and even death itself. Even when life feels dangerous, Christ remains our refuge, our advocate, and our unshakable hope. Because He holds our future, we can face fears without being ruled by them. Believers can rest in the steady, sovereign care of Jesus, where anxious hearts find lasting satisfaction.

February 1, 2026 | Week 6 of Acts: Power and Promise Pt.3 (Acts 24:1-27)
Anchored Against Accusation... Accusations, misunderstandings, and opposition are not new to God’s people. Scripture shows that faithfulness to Christ will invite criticism, but we stand on a foundation that cannot be shaken. Our confidence rests not in the assurance we have in Christ and in a clear conscience before God that anchors us in His promises. The Lord Himself is our witness, our defender, and our judge. As followers of Jesus, we live with integrity, courage, and peace, anchored in the assurance that God knows the truth and upholds those who trust Him, even when others speak against them.

January 25, 2026 | Week 5 of Acts: Power and Promise Pt.3 (Acts 23:12-35)
Danger and the Christian: Following Christ does not remove danger, but it does place our lives securely in God’s hands. Scripture shows that even when opposition intensifies and threats multiply, God remains actively at work—protecting His servants, advancing His purposes, and keeping every promise. Human plots cannot overturn divine plans. In moments of fear, uncertainty, or vulnerability, God’s people are called to rest not in their own ability to escape danger, but in the faithful care of a sovereign Lord.

January 18, 2026 | Week 4 of Acts: Power and Promise Pt.3 (Acts 22:30-23:11)
Hope that sets us apart: Our hope rests not in our own faithfulness, but in the living Christ who walks with His people. This week, we'll see in the Apostle Paul's life that when we fail, doubt, or fall short, Jesus does not abandon us—He draws near with mercy and restoring grace. The same Savior who died for our sins now lives, reigning with resurrection power and unbreakable love. Because He is alive, our failures do not define us, and our future is secure in His hands. This living hope strengthens weary hearts, overcomes shame, and calls us forward in trust.

January 11, 2026 | Week 3 of Acts: Power and Promise Pt.3 (Acts 22:6-29)
Tragedy to Testimony Christ’s power leads us through a story of disruption and change in order to bring us to new life, purpose, and calling. What makes a Christian testimony so powerful has nothing to do with how interesting it is, how much growth takes place, or anything regarding the accomplishments we make. Instead a Christian testimony is powerful because of Christ’s redeeming power that reorients our life into something far better than what we can achieve on our own.
