    Hiding the Truth

The abortion industry fights desperately to hide the truth. In fact, their entire business model is built around keeping the public misinformed.   Now, New Mexico Governor Michelle Grisham has signed a bill which eliminates the state’s requirement for abortion facilities to report data.  The state is already a pro-abortion sanctuary with 14 facilities and no gestational limits on abortion.   Previously, New Mexico law required that abortionists file a report within five days of an abortion. Now the state has gone dark. New Mexico has recently become a hotbed of abortion tourism, with 71% of all abortions reported in 2023 coming from out-of-state residents. Truth and transparency are the enemies of abortion.

    Victory for life in Kenya

A major pro-life victory has come from Kenya, where the Court of Appeal overturned a previous ruling that had declared abortion a constitutional right. The judges ruled that abortion is not a fundamental right under Kenya’s constitution and reaffirmed protections for the unborn child’s right to life.   The decision reverses a 2022 lower court ruling and restores the constitutional balance many faith leaders and pro-life advocates said had been distorted. Kenya’s law still allows limited exceptions in certain emergency circumstances, but the court made clear there is no broad constitutional right to abortion on demand.   This case matters far beyond Kenya. It shows that nations around the world the fight   For life rages on.

    Health Swiss Woman Euthanized

Wendy Duffy, a 56-year-old British woman was described as physically healthy. Yet she traveled to the Pegasos clinic in Switzerland to end her life.  You might think that officials would refuse to kill someone who is healthy but unfortunately, they did not.  Following the death of her son, she became suicidal and even attempted to take her own life. After she failed, she saw a documentary about someone else who had been euthanized under similar circumstances.   Around the world euthanasia and assisted suicide continue to take the lives of vulnerable people who need love and support, not a lethal injection. Euthanasia is not merciful; it is not humane. It is a horrific devaluation of the sanctity of life.

    Congressman Gill Grills Abortion Advocate

Abortion advocates love to hide behind euphemisms and slogans, while avoiding the horrific truth of what abortion truly is. Congressman Brand Gill from Texas went viral on social media last week for grilling a pro-abortion advocate during a judiciary hearing. Gill asked Jessica Waters, a scholar at American University, what her favorite kind of abortion is. When she refused to give a clear answer, the congressman began to read in great medical detail, exactly what is done in various forms of abortion. Faced with the gruesome details, Waters struggled to respond to the congressman who made clear just how barbaric abortion is. Her default response was, “I’m an advocate for patients having access to the full realm of reproductive healthcare,” What she means, is she supports the killing of innocent children in the womb.

Born Fighting: 22-Week Preemie Defies the Odds

A remarkable story from Dubai is reminding the world that even the smallest babies can fight for life. Baby Talia was born at just 22 weeks and five days gestation, weighing only 400 grams, less than one pound. Doctors say she is the youngest premature baby ever recorded to survive in the United Arab Emirates.   Born at the very edge of viability, Talia spent 129 days in intensive care facing infection risks and serious medical challenges. Yet through expert treatment, perseverance, and the love of her family, she grew stronger each day and has now gone home thriving.   Stories like this matter because they reveal a simple truth: unborn children are patients, human beings, and fighters.

Supreme Court Sides with First Choice Pregnancy Centers

The U.S. Supreme Court has handed down a unanimous decision protecting free speech and donor privacy for a pro-life pregnancy center in New Jersey. In First Choice Women’s Resource Centers v. Platkin, the justices ruled the ministry can challenge a sweeping subpoena that demanded donor names, contact information, and internal records.   Justice Neil Gorsuch wrote that government demands for private donor information can burden constitutional rights. That means pro-life groups do not have to wait until state officials fully enforce intimidation tactics before seeking relief in federal court.   This case matters nationwide. Pregnancy centers provide diapers, counseling, ultrasounds, and material support to mothers in need.

New Documentary Highlights Declining Birth Rates

A new documentary is sounding the alarm on a growing global crisis: declining birth rates. Filmmaker Stephen Shaw warns that population collapse may be one of the most serious challenges facing the world today.  As we have documented in our research, nearly all Western countries are now below replacement-level fertility, and many people who hoped to have children simply never do.   Shaw points to a culture that increasingly delays or deprioritizes family, leaving many facing unplanned childlessness later in life.   As we face this looming population crisis, we continue to kill more than a million innocent babies each year in the womb. Nearly one third of Gen Z was killed via abortion. The first and most obvious step to reversing our population decline is to end abortion.

    Pro-Life Christians Continue to Adopt

Christians have been shown to adopt children at more than double the rate of the general population. Unfortunately, during the Biden administration Christian families faced bureaucratic hurdles aimed at preventing them from fostering or adopting. Families were required to support LGBTQ identities, largely excluding faithful Christians. Secretary Kennedy stated that the Biden ruling, “dramatically constricted the pool of available parents.” Due in part to the reversal of the rule, the number of children in the foster system has dropped by roughly 100,000! Despite what abortion advocates may claim, adopting children is not a necessary prerequisite to be truly pro-life. However, pro-lifers do just so happen to be the ones leading the way in the national effort to adopt children and give them loving families.

Pro-life Spider Man Sentenced to Jail

Maison DesChamps, a pro-life activist, and friend of mine, known as “Pro-Life Spiderman,” has been sentenced to two months in jail for climbing the sphere in Las Vegas.   He did the daring climb to raise money to help a pregnant woman choose life for her unborn baby and keep her off the streets as she faced homelessness. Because of Maison’s climb and the attention, it brought to her situation, she was able to choose life for her child.  Now he is being rewarded with jail time, despite the fact that other climbers have scaled the sphere with no punishment.  Maison’s wife is pregnant, and now the two are unsure if he will be able to see the birth of his first child, or if he will be in jail. Please join me in praying for him as he is punished for his defense of life.

Senator Banks Asks FTC to Investigate

The abortion industry has consistently repeated the lie that dangerous abortion drugs are “safer than Tylenol.” This deception has led many women to take the drugs not knowing that 1 in 10 women who do so will find themselves in the emergency room. Now, Senator Jim Banks is requesting the Federal Trade Commission to investigate the drug companies pushing the dangerous pill.   The FTC has jurisdiction over false and misleading medical claims and is empowered to protect the public from the associated risks. In his letter, Senator Banks highlights that the abortion pill providers have no studies to support their claims that the drugs are safer than Tylenol.  Federal law bans deceptive trade practices, which have been a hallmark of the abortion industry for decades.

Many Canadians Support Euthanasia for Mental Illness

A new report out of Canada should make the hair on your neck stand up. Polling data from the Angus Reid Institute found that 28% of Canadians support allowing euthanasia for individuals whose sole condition is mental illness.   It is good to note that 50% of respondents still oppose it, but more than a quarter of people supporting euthanasia for those with a mental illness is horrifying.   At the same time, the data shows overwhelming concern about the state of mental health care, with about 80% of Canadians worried about access and quality.   How can it be that so many people are concerned that there is not adequate access to mental health care, yet they support the killing of those who need mental healthcare?

Pro-Life States See Reduction in Maternal Mortality

Despite the false claims of the abortion industry, multiple states with strong pro-life protections have actually seen their maternal mortality rates drop in recent years. In Texas, for example, the maternal mortality rate dropped 2.4% since 2021.   Other states saw as high as 3.3% reductions in their maternal mortality rates. Pro-life laws save lives, and pro-life education enables those laws.    The abortion industry has spent years investing heavily into a fear mongering strategy hoping to convince the nation that somehow saving lives will endanger women. The data does not bear that out.   Men and women deserve the truth about abortion, not lies and propaganda. Every human being is made in the image of God, deserving of the right to life.

Biden DOJ Exposed for Targeting Pro-Lifers Under FACE

A nearly 900-page report from the Department of Justice now proves that the Biden administration used the federal FACE Act to disproportionately target pro-life activists, even though most threats and violence were coming from abortion activists. The report found that:  “The Biden DOJ violated the rights of Americans by its biased enforcement of the FACE Act.”  “The Biden DOJ collaborated with pro-abortion groups to track pro-life activists’ First Amendment activity.”  “Biden DOJ prosecutors engaged in inappropriate conduct and comments.”  “The Biden DOJ pursued more severe charges and significantly harsher sentences for peaceful pro-life defendants than violent pro-abortion defendants.”  “The Biden DOJ sought to provide funding to pro-abortion groups.”  Several Biden DOJ attorneys have now been fired for their part in unfairly prosecuting pro-lifers and attempting to penalize them with longer prison sentences.

    Planned Parenthood and Gender Transition

Planned Parenthood has become one of the nation’s largest providers of cross-sex hormones. It is estimated that they give harmful gender interventions to more than 120,000 patients in a single year.   These services have expanded rapidly in recent years, becoming a growing part of the organization’s overall operations. Much like their philosophy on abortion, Planned Parenthood does not appear concerned about the long-term effects this will have on those receiving the intervention, nor do they appear worried about patients receiving adequate counseling before the irreversible intervention.   At the same time, the organization continues to report hundreds of thousands of abortions annually. Historically, Planned Parenthood has received hundreds of millions of dollars in taxpayer funding, something that can never happen again.

  15. 86

    Trump’s Pro-Life Budget Proposal

In a strong stand for life, President Trump has released his proposed fiscal year 2027 budget that would once again defund Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider. The budget includes a new provision in the Labor-HHS appropriations bill explicitly blocking federal taxpayer dollars from flowing to abortion businesses like Planned Parenthood. It also eliminates the $101 million Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program, which has funneled millions to the organization while proving ineffective. Additional pro-life measures extend the Hyde Amendment, protect conscience rights for doctors and nurses, ban funding for research using aborted fetal tissue, and strengthen international policies against abortion.

    Disney Short Film Honors Life

In a surprising but welcome move, Disney’s new wordless animated short film “Versa” is receiving strong praise for its powerful pro-life themes. Director Malcon Pierce created the story to honor his unborn son Cooper, whom he and his wife lost during complications while he worked on “Moana.”  The film follows a couple’s joy at discovering pregnancy, then their deep grief after losing their child. Through animation, it portrays the lasting impact of unborn life and the path toward healing.  Disney has rarely promoted pro-life messages, yet “Versa” marks the second recent production—after “Fantastic Four”—to honor the sanctity and value of every human life, born and preborn.  In a culture that often dismisses the unborn, this short film quietly affirms a profound truth: every life is important, no matter how brief.

Canadian Woman Offered Death for Back Pain

84-year-old Miriam Lancaster went to the emergency room due to back pain. To her shock she was promptly offered the opportunity to die via so-called Medical Assistance in Dying, Canada’s euthanasia program!  She had no interest in dying, she had gone to the emergency rooming hoping to receive treatment. It would later be revealed that she had a fractured pelvis, and there was no conceivable reason for her to be euthanized.  Not only did she recover, but she was able to resume the activities she loves and traveled to Cuba, Guatemala, and Mexico.   Unfortunately, this case is not an isolated example in Canada. Many people have been ushered to their death by an overzealous healthcare system. As assisted suicide and euthanasia legislation expands around the world, we must stand for the sanctity of human life in all cases.

  18. 83

    Texas Couple Convicted of Murder

This is what happens when human life is considered disposable. In Texas, 21-year-old Cody Arnold impregnated 16-year-old Katelynn Stone, then conspired with his 25-year-old girlfriend Chelsea Shipp to murder the pregnant teen and hide what he had done and avoid the sex offender registry.   While Katelynn slept, Shipp shot her in the head killing her, and her unborn baby. Arnold helped cover the body with a trash bag. Both were convicted. Shipp received 40 years, Arnold 34 years. Shipp reportedly bragged saying, ‘I got rid of her’ to keep him out of trouble.  This horrific double murder follows the same logic as many abortions. Once society discards the sanctity of life and allows the innocent to be killed as cover up, these sort of killings outside of the womb are inevitable.

    10,000 Euthanized in the Netherlands

In 2025, the Netherlands reported 10,341 euthanasia deaths—a record high and 6% of all deaths in the country. Behind these numbers are alarming trends: almost 500 people with dementia, 475 with age-related conditions, and 174 with mental disorders were killed, including individuals no longer mentally competent to consent. Even more troubling, seven cases failed to meet the nation’s own “due care” standards. Some studies suggest that the actual total may be much higher. The Dutch experience is a grave warning: once society accepts killing as care, no life remains truly safe.

    More Abortion Facilities Close

Planned Parenthood recently announced the closure of two more abortion facilities, this time in Indianapolis. The locations will merge with a third location as Planned Parenthood is forced to consolidate locations due to funding strains. The abortion giant directly cited their loss of federal funding as the reason for the locations shutting down. Across the country many brick, and mortar abortion mills have faced the same fate, with 51 permanent closures reported so far. In one final act of disservice to the community, Planned Parenthood specifically asked women not to seek care at pregnancy resource centers calling them fake clinics. As these physical locations go under, the abortion industry continues to shift their efforts to the mail out distribution of deadly abortion drugs.

    Molotov Cocktail Thrown at Pro-Lifers

A pro-life march in Lisbon, Portugal was disrupted when a man threw a Molotov cocktail into a crowd of pro-lifers gathered outside the country’s parliament. The event, part of Portugal’s nationwide March for Life, included many families with young children and babies. The incendiary device struck the ground but failed to ignite, preventing what officials said could have been serious injuries and deaths. Police quickly apprehended and arrested the suspect at the scene, while others believed to be affiliated with an anarchist group fled. More than 4,000 pro-life advocates gathered for the first annual march. Unfortunately, attacks against pro-lifers have become far too common as the culture of death becomes more and more violent

Ethics Journal Backs Forced Abortions for Minors

A recent paper published in the University of Chicago Press journal Ethics argues that abortion should be considered “adequate care” for pregnant minors. The authors contend that doctors have a moral duty to ensure underage girls undergo abortions, even if the girl or her family objects.   The paper suggests that, in some cases, abortion could be carried out using sedation or physical restraint if necessary.   It also compares pregnancy in minors to serious medical conditions such as cancer, arguing that terminating a pregnancy is analogous to providing lifesaving treatment.   The authors argue that caregivers should not present multiple options but instead treat pregnancy in minors as a condition requiring intervention, prioritizing what they describe as the child’s best interests. Pure evil.

Total Abortions Rise with Abortion Pill

The latest report highlighted by Guttmacher Institute reveals a troubling reality: abortion numbers in the United States have risen, driven in large part by the spread of mail-order abortion pills and telehealth access.   Even as some states have enacted protections for unborn life, the mail out distribution is bypassing those safeguards and expanding access nationwide.   States like New York and California are effectively setting the nation’s abortion policy.  Reports indicate over one point one million abortions annually, with a growing share now occurring through pills rather than in-person procedures. The abortion industry will not give up without a fight. Now more than ever we need every pro-life advocate to stand firm in defense of life.

Senator Hawley Investigates Abortion Pill Manufacturers

Senator Josh Hawley has launched a formal investigation into two major abortion pill manufacturers, Danco Laboratories and GenBioPro. Hawley has sent official letters requesting detailed information on the abortion pill mifepristone, with a deadline of April 24, 2026. The letters ask the companies to provide documents covering adverse event reports, internal safety databases, marketing materials, and records of distribution and manufacturing. Hawley also seeks details about compliance with FDA safety regulations, including the Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies, and communications with regulators. The investigation focuses on the reported risks and complications associated with mifepristone, aiming to gather full transparency on how these drugs are marketed and monitored. Senator Hawley says the goal is to ensure that all necessary safety and regulatory standards are being met, and that accurate information is available regarding these widely used abortion pills.

Abortions Double in Massachusetts Due to Abortion Drug

In Massachusetts, a disturbing trend is emerging that should alarm anyone who values human life. New data show that abortions in the state more than doubled in just one year, jumping from about 24,000 in 2023 to nearly 50,000 in 2024.   What’s driving this surge? The widespread use of abortion pills like mifepristone, which now account for more than 80 percent of these deaths in the state. Even more troubling, many of these pills are being mailed across state lines, turning Massachusetts into a hub for exporting abortion nationwide with little to no oversight.   The normalization of at-home chemical abortions removes safeguards and puts both mothers and their unborn children at risk.  The abortion drug has become the abortion industries most dangerous tool.

    Trump Administration Investigates 13 States

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights has launched an investigation into 13 states that may be coercing health providers into covering abortions, a violation of federal law.   Director Paula Stannard of the Office for Civil Rights said, “Under the Weldon Amendment, health care entities, such as health insurance issuers and health plans, are protected from state discrimination for not paying for, or providing coverage of, abortion contrary to conscience. Period.  If the investigation finds that states are in violation of the amendment, they will be given the chance to correct their policies or face the loss of federal health dollars or potentially be referred to the Department of Justice. No one should ever be forced pay for an abortion against their convictions.

South Dakota Governor Signs Volley of Pro-Life Bills

South Dakota Governor Larry Rhoden recently signed a volley of pro-life legislation into law. One of the bills, HB 1313, requires that public schools provide “age-appropriate and research-based instruction in prenatal human growth and development.”    Teaching children the truth that human life begins in the womb. Pro-life education like this changes hearts and minds in the next generation.  The state’s new pro-life measures did not stop there. HB1274 gives the Attorney General the explicit power to prosecute those who transport illegal abortion drugs meant for in state abortions.  Another law, HB 1257, makes abundantly clear that the state’s pro-life laws do not prevent women from receiving legitimate medical care in cases of ectopic pregnancy or miscarriage.   South Dakota has staked its claim as one of the nation’s strongest pro-life states.

Doctors Wanted Her to Be Left to Die

Those with Down syndrome have tragically been targeted by abortions for years, but this story goes even further. When Yvonne Goldstein gave birth to her daughter with Down syndrome, she says medical staff encouraged her to let the baby die, telling her not to feed or care for her newborn.   But she refused. She chose life.  Suggesting that a precious child deserves to be abandoned, left to die devoid of the love and care of her mother simply because she has Down syndrome is appalling.  Every life has purpose. Every child has dignity and a right to life.   Not because of what they can do, but because of what they are. Human beings made in the image of God.   Those with Down syndrome deserve to have their right to life defended, just like anyone else.

    Christina Applegate Shares Abortion Pain

In a culture that often celebrates abortion as empowering, actress Christina Applegate is telling a very different story. In her own words, she described the deep pain of aborting her child at just 19 years old admitting she knew what she was doing yet felt pressured by her career and circumstances.   Her diary reveals heartbreak, conflict, and a lasting emotional weight that didn’t simply disappear after the procedure.  The truth is, abortion doesn’t just end a life—it often leaves a devastating wound to all involved.  If pro-life legislation had made abortion illegal, Christina’s unborn child may be alive today, and she may have been protected from the decades of pain and suffering that followed her abortion.

    Pro-Life Laws Increase Birthrates

A new study is confirming what many already suspected after the fall of Roe v. Wade: when abortion is restricted, more babies are born.   In fact, pro-life states have seen measurable increases in births, with some research showing as high as a 2–3% rise and tens of thousands of additional lives welcomed into the world.  These numbers are not just figures on a spreadsheet; these are real human lives saved by pro-life legislation.   For years the United States has been well below replacement fertility of 2.1% meaning we are not having enough kids to sustain our population. Many nations in similar shoes have tried all sorts of government programs to increase the number of births, yet it seems many are unwilling to suggest ending abortion.

  31. 70

Why She Left the Abortion Industry

A former Planned Parenthood clinic manager is speaking out about why she left the abortion industry. And her story is sobering. Annette Lancaster says she originally believed she was helping women when she took the job. But three experiences changed everything. First, she was troubled by the pressure inside the clinic to push abortions and keep the numbers high. Second, she was shaken when a woman lying on the abortion table grabbed her hand and asked, “Will God forgive me for this?” Finally, tragedy struck close to home. A young relative died after suffering severe hemorrhaging following an abortion procedure. Those moments forced her to confront what was really happening. Eventually, she walked away from the abortion industry and now shares her story.

South Dakota Secures Victory on Abortion Pill Advertising

Not long ago I told you about South Dakota’s efforts to sue Mayday Health for their promotion of illegal abortion drugs in the state. The company ran misleading ads and failed to explain the legal restrictions and potential risks associated with abortion drugs. They also encouraged young women to take the drugs, despite the fact that they are illegal in South Dakota. After receiving more than 650 complaints, the attorney general demanded the campaign stop. Now, Attorney General Marty Jackleyr has reached a settlement with the New York-based group. Under the settlement, the organization must remove the advertisements and halt its campaign in South Dakota. The abortion industry is determined to promote the deadly chemical abortion drug despite the tremendous risks for the women who take it. All they are concerned about it profit, not the health of mom or baby.

  33. 68

More Women Endangered by Reckless Abortion Pill Distribution

A new report is once again sounding the alarm about the abortion pill and the removal of basic medical safeguards. Researchers analyzing years of data found that serious adverse events increased after the FDA removed the requirement for women to see a doctor in person before receiving abortion pills. When that in-person requirement was in place, serious complications occurred in about 10.15% of cases. After it was removed, the rate rose to 11.5%, a statistically significant increase. Some of these complications include hemorrhaging, infection, sepsis, and other life-threatening medical emergencies. Without an in-person exam, doctors may miss conditions like ectopic pregnancy, which can only be diagnosed through proper medical evaluation. The deadly abortion drug kills innocent unborn babies and its distribution should be federally outlawed, not recklessly expanded.

    Wyoming Enacts Heartbeat Bill

The state of Wyoming has been caught in an ongoing battle to defend the lives of the unborn. In January the state’s Supreme Court struck down two pro-life laws, one which banned abortion pills, and one which attempted to ban nearly all abortions.  Following the Court’s decision, Wyoming lawmakers have fought to find a way to protect innocent life.   In an effort to do so, HB 126 has been signed into law banning abortion once a heartbeat is detectable, at about 6 weeks.   While the governor is concerned that the legislation will invite more litigation, we are hopeful that they law will protect unborn babies. Our efforts to defend life must continue in all fifty states, included cases like Wyoming where creative approaches are needed.

    Pro-lifers Attacked for Defending Life

At a peaceful pro-life rally in Koblenz, Germany, violence erupted when left-wing extremists attacked pro-life advocates who had gathered to pray and hold signs supporting the unborn. According to reports, seven attackers descended on the group, in a brutal ambush. Two pro-life men were seriously injured. One suffered a traumatic brain injury after being struck in the back of the head. Another suffered a jaw injury during the attack. Both had to be taken to the hospital for treatment. These men weren’t harming anyone. They were peacefully advocating for life. Yet they walked away with significant injuries simply for defending the unborn. Thankfully, pro-lifers were able to subdue some of the attackers and hold them until the police arrived. These sorts of attacks have become all too common around the world. Please pray for all who defend life.

    Baby Chance is Home

You may remember the story of Adriana Smith, the mother who developed brain clots and was declared brain dead while nine weeks pregnant with her son Chance. Incredibly, the hospital was able to keep baby Chance alive and deliver him via cesarean section. During the pregnancy, Adriana was kept alive through life support. Many abortion advocates publicly demanded that baby Chance be killed. After he was born, some abortion advocates continued wishing death upon baby Chance expressing concern that his survival would hurt the pro-abortion cause. Now, following an extended stay in the hospital, baby Chance is finally home with his brother, happy and healthy. While the abortion industry may be upset about that, we certainly are not. Congratulations baby chance, and welcome home.

Texas Attorney General Paxton Sues Abortion Pill Network

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has filed a lawsuit against the abortion-drug network Aid Access for flooding mail-order abortion pills into the state which has banned chemical abortion.   Aid Access openly advertises shipping deadly abortion drugs to cities like Houston, Dallas, and Austin, intentionally undermining Texas’ pro-life laws and targeting unborn children in a state determined to protect them.   If states can’t defend life against out-of-state abortion networks, it effectively defeats the Supreme Court’s ruling which is supposed to allow each state to handle abortion as they see fit.   If pro-abortion states like California can send thousands of deadly abortion drugs into pro-life states without consequence, that means California essentially gets to set the nation’s abortion laws unilaterally.

Driving an Hour Every Day to Save Lives

Pro-life advocates continue to show an inspiring outpouring of love in defense of innocent life. Matt Britton, general counsel for 40 Days for Life, recently told the story of a woman named Lindsay he met at a vigil.   He detailed that she drives more than an hour after work every night to fight for the unborn. Each of us has time, talents, or treasure that we can give to the fight for life. Some even have all three! We encourage you to be like Lindsay and continue giving your all to the fight for life.  On our website, life issues dot org, we have the information and resources that you need to stand for life. Equip yourself with the tools needed and boldly defend the unborn.

    Planned Parenthood Offering Botox?

In an interesting new twist, one of the largest Planned Parenthood affiliates in the country has begun offering Botox injections and other cosmetic treatments to help offset financial shortfalls. Of course, at the same time, it continues performing abortions that end kill innocent babies.   Personally, I would love to see Planned Parenthood adjust their business model and stick to the cosmetic treatments. Stop killing innocent babies and turn over a new leaf, let Botox be what they are known for!   Unfortunately, this is not about cosmetics. It is about revenue. When abortion providers must branch into cosmetic procedures to stay afloat, it shows just how badly they are struggling for money. Some locations have already attempted to bring in money through providing gender transition hormones as well.   Planned Parenthood will continue to do whatever it takes to abort more babies.

  40. 61

    Missouri Amendment 3

In 2024, the abortion industry scored a heartbreaking victory. The state of Missouri, once a bastion of pro-life advocacy and the first state to enact their trigger law following the reversal of Roe, passed a constitutional amendment enshrining a so-called right to abortion in the state constitution.   Since then, pro-lifers in Missouri have worked tirelessly to reverse this awful amendment. Missouri Amendment 3, which will be on the ballot in November, is the opportunity to end abortion on demand and remove the so-called right to an abortion.   If Missouri can return to the pro-life column, it will send a powerful message to abortion advocates across the country. We must prove that not only can we defend states from pro-abortion ballot measures, but we can advance and take ground from the abortion industry.

    The Miscarriage Prosecution Lie Debunked

There’s a dangerous lie circulating that if abortion is illegal, women will be imprisoned for having a natural miscarriage. That claim simply isn’t true. No woman in the history of the United States has ever been charged and convicted for simply experiencing a miscarriage. The media often cites cases involving other crimes, like improper disposal of a body, drug-related offenses, or abuse of a corps, never the miscarriage itself. Miscarriage is not a crime. The last thing that those who have suffered from miscarriage need is to be lied to. Women who lose pregnancies are not going to jail. On our website life issues dot org we have researched and refuted each false example the media has presented and shown no woman is imprisoned for miscarriage.

Wellman Texas Becomes 94th Sanctuary City for the Unborn

The City of Wellman, Texas, has become the 94th Sanctuary City for the Unborn after its city council voted unanimously to outlaw abortion within its borders.   This ordinance protects innocent preborn children from abortion and aims to stop mail-order abortion pills and abortion trafficking from penetrating the community.   As the debate surrounding abortion turns the nation into a battleground, we welcome every advancement of the right to life. Changing culture often starts small. If we can change a city, we can change a state, and if we can change a state, we can change the nation.  When you make your voice heard at the local level, it can start a chain reaction that reaches across the nation.  If your city has not yet become a sanctuary for the unborn, we encourage you to lead the charge for life.

A Flurry of Pro-Life Bills in South Carolina

South Carolina lawmakers have introduced a flurry of bold pro-life bills this session aimed at strengthening protections for unborn children. One bill would ban dismemberment abortions, ending one of the most brutal procedures. House Bill 4654 would criminalize forcing a woman into having an abortion against her will. House Bill 3537, the Prenatal Equal Protection Act, would define unborn babies at any stage of development as “persons,” ensuring that “an unborn child who is a victim of homicide is afforded equal protection under the homicide laws of the state. By recognizing the humanity of the unborn and aligning the law with science, these measures affirm that every life has value. Lawmakers who support life deserve praise for advancing policies that protect women and their children, and for treating the preborn with the equal dignity they deserve under the law.

Another Woman Injured by Planned Parenthood

A chilling reminder of the real danger abortion presents to mothers has come from Aurora, Illinois, where a woman was rushed to the hospital after a surgical abortion went wrong at a Planned Parenthood facility.   According to reports, staff inside the facility placed a 911 call saying the 26-year-old was “just bleeding” from her uterus during the procedure, as though it was no big deal.  But excessive bleeding isn’t “routine,” it’s a life-threatening complication that often signals uterine perforation or other serious injury.  Despite abortion advocates claiming these procedures are safe, ambulance calls continue to expose the danger women face as their babies are murdered.  Abortion kills innocent children and it continues to leave their mothers broken both spiritually and physically all while Planned Parenthood and others cash the checks.

    Michigan Sued for Radical Law

Pro-life organizations in Michigan are fighting back against a radical expansion of the state’s anti-discrimination law that redefines “sex” to include “termination of a pregnancy.” According to the lawsuit filed by Alliance Defending Freedom on behalf of Right to Life of Michigan and the Pregnancy Resource Center, the change would literally force these life-affirming ministries to hire employees who support abortion or face government penalties.   This is more than a legal dispute — it’s a clash over conscience and mission. Pro-life groups exist to promote life and offer real support to women and families. They should not be compelled by law to employ people whose beliefs directly contradict their mission.

West Virginia Lawmakers Consider Abortion Pill Crack Down

Lawmakers in West Virginia are advancing Senate Bill 173 to crack down on mail-order abortion pills.   The legislation aims to close a dangerous loophole which allows abortion drugs to be shipped across state lines, undermining pro-life protections.  If passed, physicians who violate the law would lose their medical licenses, while non-physicians who help women obtain abortion pills could face between three months and ten years in prison. If someone forces a woman to take the deadly drug against her will, she can pursue civil action against them under the law.  Abortion pills are not harmless. They end innocent human lives and can cause serious complications for mothers. As we fight to end the scourge of dangerous chemical abortion drugs, these lawmakers should be commended for standing firmly for life and the rule of law.

    Mamdani Announces New Abortion Centers

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani has announced plans to open new city-funded facilities that will expand access to abortion for young people, including minors. These centers are being framed as “reproductive health hubs,” but in reality, they will facilitate the deliberate killing of innocent babies under the banner of healthcare. At a time when women need real support, including housing, counseling, adoption resources, and help choosing life, New York City is instead investing public dollars into making abortion more accessible and more normalized. The unborn child is completely absent from this conversation and is treated as disposable rather than deserving of protection. This move reflects a growing trend among pro-abortion leaders to double down on abortion expansion after Roe v. Wade rather than defending those who cannot defend themselves.

Louisiana to Sue Newsome and Hochul

Louisiana has announced that they intend to file a lawsuit against California Governor Gavin Newsome as well as New York Governor Kathy Hochul for their roles in refusing to extradite doctors accused of mailing deadly abortion pills into the state.   Louisiana has outlawed the distribution of the drug, yet abortion providers continue to violate state law, shipping the pill to women so they can have abortions. Pro-abortion states like California and New York have passed what they call “shield laws” which aim to protect abortionists from the consequences of breaking the law in other states. Louisiana contends that this violates full faith and credit under the constitution.   If these states are allowed to continue nullifying pro-life protections, countless unborn babies are at risk.

    “But Abortion Doesn’t Affect You”

You’ve likely heard someone ask, “Abortion doesn’t affect you, so why do you care so much?”   The truth is, something does not have to directly impact your life for you to speak out against it as a great moral evil.  For example, we oppose human trafficking even if we have never been trafficked. We condemn chattel slavery though we were never slaves. We speak out against genocide without being its victims.   When we know a grave injustice is happening, silence is not neutrality, and it is certainly not virtuous. Truth is, its cowardice. Abortion is the defining human rights issue of our time. To learn how to refute this and other pro-abortion arguments, visit our new resource, In Defense of Life, at lifeissues.org
