Building Outline Financial & Becoming One Of The Largest Firms In Toronto
Building Outline Financial & Becoming One Of The Largest Firms In Toronto Outline Financial Website- https://www.outline.ca With very diverse backgrounds, the founders came together in business and in life to form Outline Financial. Their goal was to build a customer-focused mortgage and insurance brokerage with minimal bureaucracy. The strategy was simple: stay lean and nimble enough to quickly respond to customer needs and growth opportunities, while constantly implementing new service improvements to deliver a truly unique broker experience built on professionalism and trust. To realize that vision, the Outline family continues to add top industry professionals and executives which share a common set of core values. When Joanna Lang began her career, she asked a simple question: How can an individual broker differentiate herself in one of the country’s most competitive and crowded markets? The answer would set the stage for a career of success and recognition as one of Canada’s top mortgage brokers. From her early days in university, Joanna knew that she wanted to work with numbers. She graduated from the University of Toronto in 1997 with a double major in economics and industrial relations, and soon kick-started her career as a financial advisor with TD Canada Trust, later moving up the ranks to become a mortgage specialist in 2004. It was around that time that she discovered a passion for working with people and developed a knack for helping clients understand the many financial risks and opportunities they faced. “I fell in love with client relations and gained an appreciation for using smart mortgage planning as a powerful personal finance tool,” she recalls. An engaging approach and in-depth product knowledge came to define her competitive advantage. Joanna held the position until 2010, when she took a role as a Home Financing Advisor with Scotiabank. Along the way, she accumulated an impressive list of accolades starting with Mortgage Specialist Rookie of the Year for Canada in 2004 at TD Canada Trust, followed by numerous top 1% Canadian performer awards at both TD CanadaTrust and Scotiabank. But it was in 2012 that she and husband Jason decided it was time to change professional course, setting out on a life-changing entrepreneurial adventure. With her mortgage broker acumen and client-management experience, and his insurance, finance and managerial expertise, the two founded the Lang Team, now Outline Financial, to deliver strategic mortgage and insurance brokerage services for clients and their families. As one of Outline’s Managing Partners, Joanna’s approach to client service is unwavering—and guided by a paraphrased nugget of wisdom courtesy of investment legend Warren Buffet: The rate is what you pay, but the value is what you get. “There is no one-size-fits-all solution,” she says. That would explain why Joanna almost never discusses mortgage rates during a first call or meeting with new clients. She instead turns it into a financial planning consultation focused on strategy and helping clients understand the wide range of mortgage products across the market. “We present different ways of thinking about borrowing,” she adds, “but simplified in a way that anyone can understand.”

Heather Hadden Homes On Building a Multi Million Dollar Real Estate Team & System
Limitless With Mark Wadden| Episode #3 Heather Hadden Homes On Building a Real Estate Team You could say Toronto is in Heather Hadden's blood. She comes from a long line of Torontonians, and her connection to this world-class city is so strong that she's made it into a successful career in the top 1% of Toronto agents and Team Leader at Hadden Homes. But her path to real estate wasn't a straight line. Heather started out as a teacher, but traded the books for listings and followed in the career path of her sister, a realtor. Heather discovered her ability to connect with people - likely seeded by her sociology studies at Queen's University, and put it to work serving clients and starting her own business. "Best decision of my life. I found I LOVED connecting with people, and nothing compared to the high and excitement of helping them find their perfect home," says Heather. Meanwhile, she was living out a number of personal milestones as well, including marriage, the birth of her daughter, divorce, moving thrice (to three different neighbourhoods), meeting a new love (she swiped right) and settling comfortably into her new, blended family. These experiences have come with a host of new and exciting adventures, and empathy that is what helped shape her business. "I knew how hard these transitions had been for me. Whether it was buying a first home, needing to upsize, needing to downsize, retiring parents, I’ve been there," Heather says. "Over the past 14 years, my team and I have been through every situation under the sun, and are equipped to make this transition as easy as possible for you." - I have my 10,000 hours! Aside from her "people" skills, Heather knows the city - and the housing market - like the back of her hand. She is a proven skilled sales professional who brings to the table a combination of fierce negotiation skills, cunning wit and the drive to win - and win she does. Hadden Homes is in the top 0.1% of agents in the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board, and our listings sell in an average of just 11.5 days for 105% of list price. The Hadden Homes Method is designed to end the stress and chaos of the sale, and make your life as EASY as possible
