03 Methods and tech for living off grid - part 3 #offgrid #offgridlife
Here I discuss your right to remain disconnected the electrical grid, telecommunications options when off the grid. You have to full right to not pay anyone for their product or services. Similarly, you do not have to have an electrical connection if you so choose. It's a simple concept that seems to have been lost in the shuffle. And, governments and power companies alike try hard to make it seem like an obligation; for you to pay your private for profit electric corporation. Don't be fooled. Also, here I discuss several free telecommunication options including free and open Wi-Fi computer networks, free phone service, and free private phone and computer networks. I also discuss the exciting world of radio frequency telecommunications.Hector Vladimir 2026©03 Methods and tech for living off grid - part 3 #offgrid#offgridlifeHere I discuss your right toremain disconnected the electrical grid, telecommunications optionswhen off the grid. 02 Methods and Tech for living off grid – part 2 – Cooking, shelter, HVAC, water and energy systems - #offgrid
In this information packed episode, I discuss many important topics dealing with methods and technologies to enable you to live off the grid. First I discuss cooking equipment options. I prefer to use electricity-less or gas equipment for cooking when off grid. It saves much energy. Then, I speak about shelter or home options. I stress the importance of low cost housing, and how cost is more important than efficiency. But, efficiency is highly important, and I discuss was to keep your energy working at its fullest and with much efficiency. I stress how HVAC is the largest energy consumer in most homes, and how to condition your environment when off the grid. When I discuss water systems for homes, I focus on rain collection, which I think to be the best option. After discussing water options, I move on to speak about off grid home options, the dome and the triangular home. These are "build" options that aim to maximize efficiency and not be connected to any utility. I showcase my previous design projects: the wooden dome, the concrete monolithic dome, and the triangular home. In those designs I attempted to design the homes with the ability to collect water, energy, and remain pleasant inside. Lastly, I discuss energy systems to live off grid, with center stage taken by solar energy technologies, followed by wind energy. This episode is packed with information, so you won’t want to miss it.Hector Vladimir 2026©Living Off the Grid in the City Podcasthttps://www.youtube.com/@hbcsolarpvtechhttps://www.youtube.com/@hbcsolarpvtechbyronhttps://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552559207892Living Off the Grid in the City PDF bookhttps://drive.google.com/file/d/1fY4aaKpWzUX4W5rTyeI1U7oeBOcSviEp/view?usp=sharingEfficient home projecthttps://drive.google.com/file/d/1uLKrejF4N6u7Mht6-TQXSi45fLxfXBhR/view?usp=sharingDome home project (wood)https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyWqApEqGtc6KbtQHq2GsDtpQJQTIv5M5Monolithic dome techniqueshttps://youtu.be/UfIqQO7GyRchttps://youtu.be/7aUKFWpbdP8https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyWqApEqGtc6nd-_C6bkiKnMxLBg7DfgKhttps://rumble.com/c/c-5079280https://www.bitchute.com/channel/1yG6vacOmMN7Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/hectorvladimirSubstack page: https://hectorvladimir.substack.com/Living Off the Grid in the City Radio Show (Legacy) links belowhttps://www.youtube.com/hbcsolarpvtechbyronhttps://www.youtube.com/@hbcsolarpvtechhttps://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552559207892https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyWqApEqGtc5tJy1BbtZaohmLi5F0-DFZPatreon page: https://www.patreon.com/hectorvladimirSubstack page: https://hectorvladimir.substack.com/

17 Barriers to living off the grid - And how to combat those
Here, I present the barriers and hurdles to an off grid lifestyle. Knowledge is a barrier. Or better said, ignorance is a barrier. The lack of knowledge can present you and those around you with arrogance and stupidity that may prevent understanding why living off the grid is necessary. The climate crisis, the energy and food high costs, and the oppressive nature of the utility service providers are reasons that require accepting the available and credible evidence. Your environment can be a barrier. Your family, your government and your financial and material situation. Also, laws and regulations may be barriers. Cost and finances may be barriers that need attention. And, lastly the lack of freedom for a variety of reasons, may be barriers to an off grid lifestyle in your area. Here, I give solutions to these and other types of barriers to living off the grid. Check it out, share and like if this brings value to you. #offgrid #offthegrid #sustainableliving #renewableenergyHector Vladimir 2025©Living Off the Grid in the City Podcasthttps://www.youtube.com/@hbcsolarpvtechhttps://www.youtube.com/@hbcsolarpvtechbyronhttps://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552559207892https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyWqApEqGtc6nd-_C6bkiKnMxLBg7DfgKhttps://rumble.com/c/c-5079280https://www.bitchute.com/channel/1yG6vacOmMN7Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/hectorvladimirSubstack page: https://hectorvladimir.substack.com/For information purposes only. 16 Fallout - possible world living off the grid - expectations of the future
Fallout – possible consequences of living off the grid. Here I discuss my expectations in an off grid society. They are mostly positive. To me, the future is bright, if we embrace the thinking of value to life, health, evidence, and logic. If you turn away from excess, denial, ignorance, selfishness and greed. An off grid society, would put people first, not corporations, cars, or the rich. I such society, all would be efficient and shared. It is not a utopia, or a perfect society, but it is to our then current potential for good, taking care of each other. There, it would be illegal to use other people, violence, wage war, or take advantage of the vulnerability or needs of others. There, all the basic needs would be free of charge, and diversity of thought would be encouraged. Welcome to a better world, here I share the possibilities of living off the grid.Living Off the Grid in the City Podcasthttps://www.youtube.com/@hbcsolarpvtechhttps://www.youtube.com/@hbcsolarpvtechbyronhttps://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552559207892https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyWqApEqGtc6nd-_C6bkiKnMxLBg7DfgKhttps://rumble.com/c/c-5079280https://www.bitchute.com/channel/1yG6vacOmMN7Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/hectorvladimirSubstack page: https://hectorvladimir.substack.com/For information purposes only. 15 Closer to God - How living off grid allows a better you
Living Off the Grid in the City Podcast. Here I get a bit philosophical and spiritual. I believe that living off the grid, and all that is required for it, gets you closer to a simpler you, a better person, a bit closer to your deepest beliefs. Not depending on all of the fluff, excesses, and commodities of today; gets you to be much humbler, compassionate, caring, aware, helping, etc. It gets you to think more about others, and their welfare, as well as your environment, especially because others depend on it too. Living off the grid, turning away from the traps of your lost peers, I believe, gets you closer to God. 14 Closer to the stars - how living off grid helps space exploration
Living in space requires you to live off the grid. So, living off the grid aids in efforts to go and colonize space, the moon, mars, and even interstellar space. Living off the grid efforts in isolation management, resource management, and renewable energy; all aid in space colonization efforts. For example, harnessing energy, food and water; while off the grid, are all necessary tasks in space. Water is difficult to take to space. So, collecting it and processing it, in other places away from earth is necessary. This is a task that is advanced by off-gridders in their own way. Food production using off grid methods aid both the off gridder on earth, and the astronauts on voyages to space. There, food must be produced away from large farms and land on earth, just like food production occurs in some balconies and indoor rooms in off grid living. The most valuable contribution by off gridders, to space exploration, is the drive to live and thrive independent of large networks. The systems and methods used by off-gridders; are and will continue to be valuable resources for space exploration.Hector Vladimir 2023, 2025©Living Off the Grid in the City Podcasthttps://www.youtube.com/@hbcsolarpvtechhttps://www.youtube.com/@hbcsolarpvtechbyronhttps://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552559207892https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyWqApEqGtc6nd-_C6bkiKnMxLBg7DfgKhttps://rumble.com/c/c-5079280https://www.bitchute.com/channel/1yG6vacOmMN7Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/hectorvladimirSubstack page: https://hectorvladimir.substack.com/For information purposes only. 13 Catastrophes - part 2 - Financial collapse, mega disasters and natural catastrophes
Living Off the Grid in the City Podcast. Here I continue to discuss catastrophes and how living off the grid can help you through them, survive them, help others and emerge from them. Financial collapses, mega earthquakes, mega storms, mega EMPs, mega volcanoes, and Chicxulub type asteroid impacts are discussed. And, it is briefly explained how living off the grid helps before, during, and after those events. Again, catastrophes are much more disruptive than crises. They are generally devastating. And, living off the grid helps you prepare by living away from grid connected services; having off grid tech at the ready; and having supplies and resources in stock. Finally, the structures, technologies, and methods for off grid living, will also help the off gridder survive and thrive during and after a catastrophe.Living Off the Grid in the City Podcasthttps://www.youtube.com/@hbcsolarpvtechhttps://www.youtube.com/@hbcsolarpvtechbyronhttps://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552559207892https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyWqApEqGtc6nd-_C6bkiKnMxLBg7DfgKhttps://rumble.com/c/c-5079280https://www.bitchute.com/channel/1yG6vacOmMN7Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/hectorvladimirSubstack page: https://hectorvladimir.substack.com/For information purposes only. Preparedness - climate crisis - part 1
Living Off the Grid in the City Podcast. Here I discuss the preparedness advantages for off-gridders when it comes to the climate crisis. It is well documented that many climate events are made worse by the human-caused global warming. Storms are apparently increasing in severity and regularity. They can bring crises to an area, and knock out many grid connected services. It may be convenient, even vital, to be off the grid ahead of a storm. Here I explain why. Likewise, floods are apparently increasing in severity and regularity. They can bring destruction to your area, and disable many grid connected services. It may be advantageous, even vital, to be off the grid ahead of a flood. Here I explain why. Also, droughts are apparently increasing in severity and regularity. They can bring scarcity to your area, and affect many grid connected services, like food distribution. It may be best to be off the grid ahead of a drought. Here I explain why. And, heatwaves are likely increasing in severity and regularity. They can bring disruptions to your area and disable many grid connected services, like power. It may be critical to be off the grid ahead of a heatwave. Here I explain why.Hector Vladimir 2023, 2025©https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyWqApEqGtc6nd-_C6bkiKnMxLBg7DfgKhttp://www.youtube.com/@hbcsolarpvtechhttps://www.youtube.com/@HBCSolarPVTechByronPatreon: https://www.patreon.com/hectorvladimirSubstack: https://hectorvladimir.substack.com/

Preparedness - social and political crises
10 Preparedness - Social crisis. Living Off the Grid in the City Podcast. Preparedness. Social and political crises. Living off the grid helps you avoid or lessen the effects of crises. Human caused crises include social and political. Social crises involve unrest and dissatisfaction, which may devolve into widespread and violent protests. Political crisis may be triggered by government corruption, authoritarianism, despotism, and abuse. Or, popular outrage and dissatisfaction with the government. These, may trigger widespread protests and disruptions. All crises may disrupt, or stop, vital goods and services in your area. Living efficiently and having off grid goods and services available to you; may allow you to avoid the ill effects of crises. Here’s how.Hector Vladimir 2023, 2025©

Freedom of movement, employment, and privacy
09 Freedom of movement, employment and privacy. Living Off the Grid in the City Podcast. Freedom of movement, employment, and privacy. Here I discuss the freedom of movement. The ability for people to migrate from one place to another should not be curtailed. If you limit any other animal’s movement, such as fencing them in, you will surely harm their ability to survive on their own. Likewise, people need the ability to move away from harm and scarcity, and into safer and resourceful areas. To go against this logic is to make people suffer unnecessarily. An example of this is the situation in Gaza. People also need to be able to work voluntarily, not forced. Forced labor is equal to slavery. Paid forced labor, for example, is recognized as waged slavery. Living off the grid better situates individuals to resist forced employment and make it an optional choice. Under our economic system, employment is practically an obligation, not an option. And, this is barbaric and despotic. Lastly, I discuss in depth the importance of privacy. Privacy is your right to remain anonymous under normal circumstances. It is your right to be left alone, and not surveilled by anyone or any system. It is harmful to most people to be constantly surveilled and controlled by an entity. As the entity doing the surveilling, has the power to control, manipulate you, or even harm you. Abuses to privacy are many, and here I discuss its implications and the advantages of remaining private.Hector Vladimir 2025©

Peace and freedom - part 3
Living Off the Grid in the City Podcast. Freedom of expression, pursuit of happiness, and financial freedom. Here I discuss the importance of freedom of expression in the context of living off grid. You must ensure that your environment affords you freedom to express yourself, so that you are able to openly live off grid. And, if that freedom is not afforded, you may take steps to change that situation. Petitioning, demanding, and moving away; are a few options. Alternatively, you may find clever ways to live off the grid anyway. The pursuit of happiness is another right you may invoke to live off the grid. You may not be forced to live a certain way, thus you may choose to live off grid freely. At least you should be able to make this choice. I understand that many around you may not agree with living off grid, and may try to stop you. But, this is against human and constitutional rights. You may be financially free by extension of living off grid. Your higher knowledge, self-sufficiency, and income potential may allow you to be wealthy, or not need much money. Some may not need money at all.Hector Vladimir 2023-2025©https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyWqApEqGtc6nd-_C6bkiKnMxLBg7DfgKhttp://www.youtube.com/@hbcsolarpvtechhttps://www.youtube.com/@HBCSolarPVTechByronPatreon: https://www.patreon.com/hectorvladimirSubstack: https://hectorvladimir.substack.com/

Peace and freedom - part 2 - simplify your life and end war over resources
Living Off the Grid in the City Podcast. Peace and freedom – part 2. Simplify your life. Here I discuss how you get freedom of choice by your efforts to live off the grid. Choice is a freedom you must have to be successful in many of your off grid endeavors freely and openly. If these freedoms to choose have been curtailed in your area, for whatever reason, you must be creative and resourceful to get around many restrictions. Even here in the US many off grid choices have been limited, especially in large cities. For example, the choices to disconnect, collect water, and grow food; have been challenged repeatedly. Here, I also discuss how living off grid allows you to contribute to world peace and, end violent conflicts over resources.

Ingenuity & creativity
Living Off the Grid in the City Podcast. Here I discuss the very important advantage of living off grid. The requirement for creativity and ingenuity. These requirements are so because of the many challenges introduced by off grid living. Problems, or what I call “trouble”, that will push your thinking, ideas, resourcefulness, and problem solving to high levels. Perhaps, because of these troubles, you may come up with unique ideas and products, that help you and others live better and happier.Hector Vladimir 2025©https://www.youtube.com/@hbcsolarpvtechhttps://www.youtube.com/@hbcsolarpvtechbyronhttps://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552559207892https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyWqApEqGtc6nd-_C6bkiKnMxLBg7DfgKhttps://rumble.com/c/c-5079280https://www.bitchute.com/channel/1yG6vacOmMN7Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/hectorvladimirSubstack page: https://hectorvladimir.substack.com/For information purposes only. Self-sustainability - food
To be self-sufficient in food you may not depend on any payment or outside entity to be able to eat. As generally you should not ask for permission to breathe or drink, you should not have to pay to be able eat. I believe access to food to be a human right, therefore it should not be limited by your ability to pay. Even high-quality foods. Here I present your options on how to grow food and farm animals for food for free.Hector Vladimir 2025©Living Off the Grid in the City Podcasthttps://www.youtube.com/@hbcsolarpvtechhttps://www.youtube.com/@hbcsolarpvtechbyronhttps://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552559207892https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyWqApEqGtc6nd-_C6bkiKnMxLBg7DfgKhttps://rumble.com/c/c-5079280https://www.bitchute.com/channel/1yG6vacOmMN7Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/hectorvladimirSubstack page: https://hectorvladimir.substack.com/For information purposes only. Self sustainability - Electricity
Living Off the Grid in the City Podcast. Electricity is expensive and frankly unecessary. Yes, it is convenient and advantageous, but it is not necessary. You may live without electricity just fine. Or, you may supply your own electricity for a fraction of the cost that most of us pay. Here is how.https://www.youtube.com/@hbcsolarpvtechhttps://www.youtube.com/@hbcsolarpvtechbyronhttps://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552559207892https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyWqApEqGtc6nd-_C6bkiKnMxLBg7DfgKhttps://rumble.com/c/c-5079280https://www.bitchute.com/channel/1yG6vacOmMN7Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/hectorvladimirSubstack page: https://hectorvladimir.substack.com/For information purposes only. Self-sustainability – Water
Living Off the Grid in the City Podcast. A significant benefit of living off the grid is the ability to be self-sustainable, which means you can provide for your basic needs without relying solely on others. Many people believe they are already self-sufficient because they pay for these needs, but in reality, this often involves limited choices about where and how to obtain them. For instance, most go to supermarkets for food, pay for water utilities, and depend on banks for shelter. This reliance makes us vulnerable if money runs out, or during crises like pandemics or wars. The question then becomes whether you have the skills and resources to meet your basic needs independently. Self-sustainability can be achieved to varying extents. It requires the skills and access to resources necessary to fulfill your basic needs indefinitely. Everyone should have access to free water, food, and shelter, which are viewed as human rights. However, this access has often been limited, and individuals must be creative to regain it. Living off the grid allows individuals to access key resources and develop the skills necessary to protect and share them. This means that self-sustainability extends beyond basic needs and includes other areas as well. The text highlights, in particular, the importance of being self-sustainable regarding water. It emphasizes the economic advantages of disconnecting from utility water systems. To successfully manage your water needs, it is crucial to establish alternative water sources before cutting ties with purchased water services. Multiple alternative sources should be readily available. The text outlines essential steps to become water self-sustaining: first, find and maintain access to water sources; second, transport the water to your living area; third, have systems in place to use the water for everyday tasks; and fourth, consider how to store water safely. Utility water is easily accessed, but free water sources also exist, such as rainwater. Collecting rainwater requires containers placed in open areas for collection. Groundwater can often be accessed, but it usually involves significant initial investment to install wells and pumps. The text also suggests looking for natural bodies of water but highlights the need for legal access and the importance of treating and filtering any water collected to ensure safety. Storing water acts as a safeguard during periods when access is limited. Various containers are available for storage, and these must be kept clean and maintained to avoid contamination. Proper management of stored water is necessary to ensure its quality and safety over time. Overall, achieving self-sustainability, especially in water management, involves careful planning, resourcefulness, and ongoing maintenance.https://www.youtube.com/@hbcsolarpvtechhttps://www.youtube.com/@hbcsolarpvtechbyronhttps://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552559207892https://www.youtube.com/play

Avert high costs of living - food
Living Off the Grid in the City Podcast. This episode emphasize that food is a fundamental human need, and access to it should be a basic right. It criticizes the high cost of food, noting that it is a significant burden for many families, exacerbated by inflation and systemic issues. Food insecurity is highlighted as a pressing issue affecting millions in the U.S. and globally, with limited, and complicated access to food aid programs. This episode also discusses how corporations and governments contribute to the problem by prioritizing profits and reducing support for social programs. I advocate for self-sustainability through food production, such as planting crops or raising animals, which could reduce reliance on the commercial food system, lower expenses, and provide healthier food options. The ultimate goal is to empower individuals to take control of their food supply, promoting independence and resisting corporate exploitation.Hector Vladimir 2025©Living Off the Grid in the City Podcasthttps://www.youtube.com/@hbcsolarpvtechhttps://www.youtube.com/@hbcsolarpvtechbyronhttps://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552559207892https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyWqApEqGtc6nd-_C6bkiKnMxLBg7DfgKhttps://rumble.com/c/c-5079280https://www.bitchute.com/channel/1yG6vacOmMN7Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/hectorvladimirSubstack page: https://hectorvladimir.substack.com/For information purposes only. Avert high communications costs
Living Off the Grid in the City. Communication is considered a human right and should not be restricted by any government or institution. It is unfair to charge exorbitant sums for using modern basic communication technology, as this marginalizes ordinary people and does not allow them to benefit from competition in the market to obtain lower prices. In addition, relying on geographic location to access communication services can be dangerous in emergency situations, as payphones are becoming less common. Governments and companies are taking advantage of this need and are willing to exploit it. In short, it is necessary to find ways to avoid the excessive costs of communication services and to ensure that everyone has access to modern means of communication without being forced to pay disproportionate amounts. Avert high costs of living - water
The increase in the costs of water and water services is due to several factors. First, the increase in bottled water consumption has led to a general increase in water prices. Although it would be expected that with increased demand and competition in the market, prices would drop, this has not happened. Instead, the bottled water business has become very lucrative and more and more money is being poured into this industry. Additionally, fear that tap water is contaminated or dirty has led to increased use of bottled water and filtration systems, further increasing water-related expenses. Finally, the increasing privatization of water supply companies has also influenced the increase in costs. In summary, the high costs of water and water services are the result of the widespread adoption of bottled water, fear of contamination of tap water and the privatization of water sources. Compulsory food service
Living Off the Grid in the City Podcast. Food has become an object of exploitation by governments and private entities, who make us believe that we have no choice but to buy their food, despite paying high prices and consuming chemicals. We are often denied the ability to produce our own food, making us dependent on these corrupt entities. However, we have the choice to demand affordable and safe food, and to produce our own food. Throughout history, there have been food crises caused by the centralization of food production, leading to shortages and rising prices. Many people lack the knowledge and resources to produce their own food, perpetuating dependence on these entities. It is outrageous that many people are prohibited from keeping farm animals or growing food on their own land. Food is a human right and should be freely available to those who cannot afford it or work to get it. Avert high cost of living - high energy costs
Living off the grid allows you to avoid the high costs of living. The costs of living are directly related to the energy, resources, and time required. For example, the prices of electricity paid to the electricity company may be excessive. Many times, you pay more than necessary for different living expenses, especially in energy, housing, food and communication. Energy companies promote excessive energy consumption, which leads to spending more than necessary. By living off the grid, you don't need as much energy as the power company “suggests”, and you can save money by generating your own power. In addition, by not depending on the supply and prices of the electricity company, artificial price inflation is avoided. In short, living off the grid offers the opportunity to reduce the high costs associated with modern life, and brings a suite of other benefits. Efficient methods (Experiences in Japan) - part 1
Living Off the Grid in the City Podcast. Efficient methods. Here I define, explain, and give reasons for being efficient. I share my recent experiences in Japan, what I believe one of the most efficient societies today. Efficient methods encompass the actions, choices, technologies, and mentalities that allow us to be efficient. Efficiency is simply operating at optimal performance, using the least resources while producing the best for society and us. This part one, focuses on defining efficient methods, and in ways how to be efficient. I discuss some methods, and common efficient choices. And, delve into some efficient technologies. Enjoy. Compulsory communications service
Living Off the Grid in the City Podcast. Communication services, such as telephone, internet and paid TV, are considered basic necessities in modern society. Communication can be one-way or two-way and is protected as a human right. However, some entities impose limits on these services, such as offering limited choices and charging for them. This can be immoral and criminal, as it limits access to a basic need. Communication technology has evolved rapidly in recent years and it is necessary to be up-to-date to actively participate in society. Communication technologies and services are necessary for the economy and social life, and access to them should be a right for everyone, regardless of their economic situation. Although some programs offer discounts or free services to low-income people, these services are limited in many parts of the world. Communication services are expensive, but people are willing to pay for them because of their importance. There are several free communication options, which I will discuss in a future book. Compulsory water service
Living Off the Grid in the City Podcast. This episode addresses the issue of mandatory water and sewage services. Water service refers to the supply of drinking water for human consumption and other applications in a given area, through different methods such as pipes and vehicles. These services are provided by both public companies (called water supply company) and private companies (called water company). In some cases, these companies exercise abusive control over the population and communities they serve, similar to electric companies. Although the severity of the abuse can vary by area, it is considered problematic in most cases. Additionally, in many places around the world, including the United States, water services are provided by private, for-profit companies. In summary, concerns are raised about the control and abuse exercised by water service providers, whether public or private. The environment and climate
Living Off the Grid in the City Podcast 10. Part 2. Rationales. The environment is absolutely the first thing we must consider when attempting to live off the grid. It may well save our own behind, and those of our future generations. It is nothing less than the saving of our planet. Climate change is beyond reproach, so I will not bother with anyone here that is not on board with the current science and facts. Here, I describe some statistics and arguments. I introduce how living off the grid actually helps the environment. What sets this content apart?
Living Off the Grid in the City Podcast. Off grid living may require special skills and knowledge, and installing, fabricating, and using gas or electrical equipment. I recommend gaining such knowledge, skill, or licenses when required. Ensure you do especially when working with potentially hazardous energy. I am off the grid, but for now, only partially. This book is part of my road map for my off-grid goals. Which include being off the electric grid completely, and partially off the water, food, and communications grid.
