Lucas Jah is a musician, Reggae Artist from Gabon, Central Africa. At an early age while exploring the universe of hip-hop music, Lucas has discovered a passion for singing. In 2005, Lucas met the artist and Rastafari elder ''Didier Dekokaye'' which inspired him to pursue his journey in reggae music, spreading messages of peace, love and unity for all people: a message insipired by artists and activists like Lucky Dube, Bob Marley, Thomas Sankara and Marcus Garvey.After releasing many Hip-Hop/Reggae mixtapes for a decade in the underground scene, Lucas Jah established himself as a promising gabonese reggae artist and producer.In 2016 during the pre-electoral crisis in Gabon, Lucas had to leave his native country for the west african country of Ivory Coast after receiving death threats from political gang members due to his engagement in raising the awerness of his people. From the Ivory Coast, Lucas Jah continued to record and to perform, while denouncing the corruption of the system
