This is the soundtrack for "Shapeshifter", a PC demo by BEHELiT which won the PC demo competition at Flash Party 2025 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. You can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pHt7dqqidyw This version has been polished quite a bit compared with the demo version. Canned Heat (Jamiroquai C64 Cover)
Here's a cover version of Jamiroquai's "Canned Heat" composed in SID Wizard v1.92 on a PAL-B Commodore 64C with 8580 SID chip. WINNER at the Flash Party 2025 Commodore 64 Music competition. I tried to capture every single detail in the original bassline and melodies. If you pay attention, you'll hear that there are almost no repetitions. As a result of that, I used 98 of the 100 available patterns in SID Wizard (!!!) https://www.madbit.io Original version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vE4VlA_9OrI Credits: C-64 adaptation written, mastered and produced by Madbit. Original written by Jay Kay, Sola Akingbola, Wallis Buchanan, Simon Katz, Derrick McKenzie and Toby Smith. Original produced by Toby Smith and Al Stone. Original release date: 24-May-1999

Man In The Vox
Here's a song I composed for BEHELiT's first full-length PC demo (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demoscene) called "Man In The Vox". It was fully produced in less than a week using Presonus Studio One 6, a Korg Trinity Plus and a Korg Electribe 2 Sampler. Both the demo and the song won 1st place in the PC demo and streaming music competitions held at Flash Party (www.flashparty.ar) in Buenos Aires, Argentina on October 5, 2024. If you liked this, please subscribe to BEHELiT's YouTube channel too: www.youtube.com/watch?v=FuqRFe3w_nE Download the demo and run it on your own PC from here: www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=98277 demozoo.org/productions/358838/ Written, mixed, mastered and produced by Madbit.

Kawaii
Ranked #2 in The Flash Party 2023's Commodore 64 music competition! Made in only 4 days, half of which were spent learning how to use SID Wizard and how to cope with the sound limitations of the Commodore 64 because I had never done "true" chipmusic before. Also, I had not used a tracker for 26 years. Recorded from a real PAL-B Commodore 64C with a 8580 SID.

Monuments On Mars
This is a promo album from my previous project, Mindprobe. It was unofficially released through the internet to the unsuspecting public back in 2003. It was comprised of a selection of songs from the 1998-2003 period and we played it live as a trio in many events. http://mindprobe.udm.com.ar "We now very firmly believe that there are ruins -ancient ruins- on Mars. They are roughly 300,000 to 200,000 years in age. They are arrayed in a rather striking geometric configuration. The complex notes its location on the planet and in terms of geometry and mathematics it is designed to communicate a specific set of mathematical constants. And it is those constants which form the basis of what we are terming the rediscovery of hyper dimensional phyisics". "They left us overwhelming clues so that we who would come after could pick up the pieces and move on". "And we're a hundred years behind of where we should have been if something had not happened".

Doof - Destination Bom (Salamander Remix) (Unmastered)
Here's a remix I made of Doof's timeless goa trance classic from 1996, "Destination Bom". I tried to give it a more modern sound and arrangement while preserving as much of the original vibe as possible. http://www.madbit.io Original version: https://youtu.be/d3p3Exqisak Credits: Remixed and produced by Madbit AKA Salamander. Original song written, mixed and produced by Nick Barber. Original Doof logo by Nick Barber and Miro Moric. © 1996, TIP Records UK. Disclaimer: I do not own nor claim the rights to the original song. I just made this for fun. Please don't sue me. :)
