Roxan Drimmer Chen is a late-discovery adoptee, international tour director/Travel Planner, dabbles in writing, andoccasionally speaks, whose life wasturned upside down at 15 when she learned—during a heated argument—that she wasadopted. Years later she uncovered an even darker truth: she had been soldthrough a baby-selling ring, a revelation that launched a decades-long searchfor answers and healing. Roxan shares her story in her widely-shared essay“You’re Still You” for the Center for Adoption Support & Education, in Easterly’s Adoptee Voices E zine,  and in the Thriving Adoptees episode“The Truth That Sets Us Free,” and Jennifer DysonGhoston’s podcase, Adventures in AdopteeLand January 2026,  where she explores her journey fromshock and rage to curiosity, self-compassion and peace. Today, Roxan uses hervoice to challenge secrecy in adoption, honor the complexity of adopteeidentity and remind others that, no matter what we discover about ourbeginnings, we are still ourselves, and still worthy of love.
