Dr. Cesar Chavez joins the program to reflect on a remarkable medical journey that spans borders, specialties, and decades of change within the American healthcare system. In this conversation, we explore how healthcare has evolved over the course of his career — from frontline family practice to surgical specialization — and what those changes mean for patients today. Dr. Chavez also underscores a timeless truth often overlooked in modern medicine: the critical role of diet and exercise in improving the health of the average American.
