Coverdale, MBA is the Chairman of the Family Community Life Center and is Senior Pastor Emeritus of the First Baptist Church of Riverhead after retiring at the end of 2025 after serving as senior pastor of the church for 43 years. Reverend Coverdale also serves as a chaplain for the Suffolk County Department of Corrections, and has considerable experience as a college professor, consultant, sought-after seminar leader and speaker.
