Letter One The Magician/Le Bateleur: A Meditation on Sacred Silence, Spiritual Mastery & Effortless Presence

What if true spiritual power has nothing to do with control? In this deeply contemplative episode of Meditations with Mariel, we explore the profound teachings of The Magician, inspired by the first letter of Meditations on the Tarot: A Journey into Christian Hermeticism. This is not a meditation on tarot as prediction or fortune telling. Instead, this episode explores The Magician as a symbol of inner mastery, sacred discipline, humility, silence, and what the text describes as “concentration without effort.”Drawing inspiration from Christian mysticism, Hermetic philosophy, contemplative prayer traditions, St. John of the Cross, St. Teresa of Ávila, and the teachings of Patanjali, this meditation invites you to release force, quiet mental noise, and reconnect with a deeper spiritual rhythm.Together, we explore:• sacred silence as a gateway to wisdom• transforming work into play• releasing spiritual performance and ego• becoming a vessel rather than a controller• cultivating humility, presence, and inner stillnessThis meditation is for anyone seeking a deeper relationship with symbolism, contemplative spirituality, and authentic inner transformation.Take a deep breath and step into the mystery of The Magician.© 2026 Mariel Serrano | Meditations with MarielAll words, reflections, and guided meditation scripts are original creations written and voiced by Mariel Serrano. This episode is inspired by contemplative themes explored in Meditations on the Tarot: A Journey into Christian Hermeticism and is offered for educational, spiritual reflection, and meditation purposes only.Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or recording of this meditation is prohibited.

Entering the Arcana: A Study, A Practice, A Return (intro pre-meditation)

In this opening episode of my new tarot meditation series, we step away from modern tarot culture rooted in prediction and divination—and into something far older, deeper, and more contemplative.Inspired by Meditations on the Tarot: A Journey into Christian Hermeticism, this episode explores the historical origins of tarot, the evolution of tarot symbolism, and how sacred archetypes became commercialized through modern spiritual culture. We examine the difference between divination and contemplation while diving into Christian Hermeticism, archetypal psychology, alchemy, Kabbalah, and the philosophical traditions that helped shape this remarkable text. This episode also explores influential thinkers referenced throughout the book, including Origen, Pico della Mirandola, Marsilio Ficino, Hermes Trismegistus, and Carl Jung. This is not a tarot reading. This is not fortune telling. This is an invitation into history, symbolism, meditation, and inner transformation. In future episodes, we’ll move chapter by chapter, archetype by archetype, blending historical analysis with guided meditations designed to help you embody each archetype.Take a deep breath.Release the need for certainty. And step into the mystery.Anonymous. The Inner Scales: A Full Moon in Libra Archetypal Meditation

Under this Full Moon in Libra, we are invited into a deeper exploration of balance—not as perfection, but as a living tension between connection and selfhood. In this immersive guided meditation, Mariel weaves inspiration from The Archetypal Universe to explore astrology through the lens of archetypal patterns—patterns that shape our emotions, relationships, and inner conflicts.Rather than focusing on surface-level meanings, this practice invites you into the deeper dynamics at play:the Lover and the Truth-Teller…harmony and boundary…softness and sovereignty.Through breath, embodied awareness, and reflective inquiry, you are guided into a space where opposing truths can coexist—where you can begin to feel, rather than force, your way back into balance. This is a quiet, internal practice. No music. No distraction.Just you… your breath… and your awareness.✨ Recommended for those seeking a deeper, more introspective approach to meditation, emotional awareness, and archetypal understanding.Butler, Renn. Calling Your Energy Back: Through the Path of Opposites

This guided meditation invites you into a quiet process of returning to yourself and reclaiming your personal energy. Throughout daily life, pieces of our attention and emotional energy can become scattered through relationships, expectations, memories, and responsibilities. This practice offers a gentle space to gather that energy back.Through a slow body scan and awareness of the body’s energetic centers, the meditation guides you in reconnecting with your physical presence while calling your energy back from places where it may have been overextended. Inspired by Yoga Nidra techniques, the practice also explores the experience of opposites such as heaviness and lightness, warmth and coolness, fullness and emptiness, allowing the mind and body to settle into a deeper state of balance and awareness. The meditation concludes with grounding reflections on simple energetic care practices such as salt cleansing, protective baths, and working with smoke as a symbolic tool for energetic clearing. These practices are offered as gentle reminders that tending to your energy can be simple, intentional, and rooted in self-respect.This meditation is an invitation to pause, release what is not yours to carry, and remember where your energy belongs. With you.Copyright © Mariel SerranoMeditations with MarielAll rights reserved. This meditation, including its script, audio recording, and written description, is an original work created by Mariel Serrano. A Meditation for Awakening Intuitive & Psychic Awareness

Before beginning, you’re encouraged to sit somewhere with minimal interference: a parked car with the engine off, a quiet room, or a safe place in nature where your thoughts can surface clearly without external noise. These conditions help you distinguish your own inner voice from the constant signals of the outside world. In this guided practice, we gently clear mental and energetic clutter, ground into the body, and create space for intuitive awareness to strengthen. Psychic and intuitive abilities are not something reserved for a few they are natural human capacities that deepen through stillness, attention, and practice. This meditation supports you in reconnecting with that inner sensing, allowing your awareness to expand without pressure or force.Return to it whenever you need clarity, grounding, or a reminder that your inner guidance is always present and available.© Meditations with Mariel. Love That Continues : A Meditation in Honor of My Mother and All Who Walk With Us Beyond the Veil

This meditation was created on the one-year anniversary of my mother’s passing (3/25/1947-2/24/2025), held as a space for grief, memory, and the quiet ways love continues beyond physical presence. While rooted in my personal loss, this practice is offered for anyone carrying someone in their heart : a mother, father, lover, partner, friend, mentor, or soul whose imprint still lives within you.Through grounding, reflection, and gentle inner imagery, you’ll be guided to reconnect with the qualities they gave you, sit in silent presence, and receive a living symbol, something you may begin to notice in the world around you as a soft reminder of connection and continuation. This is not about letting go.It is about carrying forward. It is about honoring love in the way we live.Perfect for anniversaries, remembrance rituals, grief support, or quiet personal practice.© Mariel Serrano. Meditations with the Mystics: The Flowing Light of Love A Contemplative Meditation in the Spirit of Mechthild of Magdeburg

The Flowing Light of Love: Mechthild of MagdeburgIn this contemplative meditation, we enter the mystical world of Mechthild of Magdeburg, a 13th-century Beguine writer whose visionary work The Flowing Light of the Godhead explores divine love as intimate, relational, and alive. Writing in vernacular German rather than academic Latin, Mechthild offered a deeply embodied spirituality centered on longing, sacred desire, and the soul’s living dialogue with God.Her theology belongs to the tradition of affective mysticism, a path where love is experienced not as abstraction, but as movement, fire, and encounter. In her writings, the soul is both seeker and beloved, and longing itself becomes a form of prayer. This meditation invites listeners into that sacred current: a space where love is felt in the body, where tenderness becomes a doorway, and where divine presence meets the human heart in intimacy and transformation.Inspired by historical writings and contemporary scholarship on Beguine mysticism, this episode offers a contemplative immersion into Mechthild’s world of longing, devotion, and living light.Themes: Divine love • longing • affective mysticism • sacred desire • contemplative intimacySources and Historical referencesMechthild of Magdeburg. The 3-6-9 Meditation: Intention, Expansion, Completion

In this episode of Meditations with Mariel, we explore the symbolic rhythm often associated with Nikola Tesla’s fascination with the numbers 3, 6, and 9; a pattern many interpret as a cycle of intention, expansion, and completion. This guided meditation approaches the 3-6-9 method as an embodied practice rather than a formula. Through breathwork, repetition, and visualization, you’re invited to slow down, clarify what you’re calling in, and feel the emotional reality of alignment before it takes physical form.Three becomes the moment of intention.Six becomes the movement of energy outward.Nine becomes the sense of completion already living within you.Whether you’re familiar with the 3-6-9 manifestation ritual or simply seeking a structured space to focus your energy, this session offers a grounded and poetic way to connect your thoughts, emotions, and breath with what you’re ready to create. Most meditations are recorded in real time with minimal editing, guided primarily by voice to preserve presence, authenticity, and the feeling of being held in the moment.Take a breath.Set the intention.Let the rhythm carry you.

Meditations with the Mystics: Meister Eckhart & the Inner Ground of Silence

In this contemplative meditation, we enter the interior teachings of Meister Eckhart, the 13th–14th century Dominican mystic who spoke of a stillness deeper than thought and a presence beyond all images of God. Eckhart taught that true prayer is not about adding more words or beliefs, but about letting go — releasing roles, ideas, and attachments until the soul rests in its deepest ground.Drawing from his themes of detachment, emptiness, and the birth of the divine within the soul, this episode invites listeners into spacious awareness and quiet surrender. Here, meditation becomes a return to the place where striving falls away and being itself becomes prayer. This practice is especially supportive for those seeking silence, clarity, and a contemplative path beyond concepts, a gentle invitation to rest in the depth where the soul and the divine meet.Themes:Detachment • emptiness • inner stillness • divine ground • contemplative presenceSources:Eckhart, M. Meditations with the Mystics: The Dark Night & the Living Flame St. John of the Cross

The Dark Night & the Living Flame: St. John of the CrossIn this contemplative meditation, we enter the mystical path of St. John of the Cross, a Carmelite friar, poet, and spiritual guide who taught that profound transformation often unfolds not through clarity or comfort, but through surrender and unknowing.Drawing on John’s teachings on the Dark Night and the Living Flame of Love, this episode explores the sacred work of inner purification; the quiet, often painful releasing of attachments, certainties, and familiar spiritual consolations. Rather than a sign of failure or abandonment, John understood the dark night as a hidden movement of love, gently preparing the soul for deeper union. This meditation offers a compassionate space for those navigating grief, transition, spiritual fatigue, or seasons where meaning feels distant. Through silence, guided reflection, and tender presence, listeners are invited to trust the unseen work unfolding in darkness and to rest in the living flame that quietly burns at the heart of the soul.Themes:Dark night • surrender • purification • hidden transformation • contemplative trustSources:John of the Cross. Earth Angel: A Guided Meditation for Detox, Soul Recovery & Embodied Renewal

This guided meditation, Earth Angel, is a ceremonial journey created to support detox, recovery, emotional release, and deep soul remembrance. Inspired by a powerful personal experience of holding space for someone walking through transformation, this meditation honors the courage it takes to peel back survival patterns and reconnect with the true self beneath addiction, fear, and old identities. This journey weaves together breathwork and soul-centered reflection to create a space where listeners are invited to gently release what no longer serves and remember who they are at their core. Rather than focusing on fixing or forcing change, Earth Angel emphasizes compassionate witnessing, nervous system safety, and the sacred process of letting go and becoming. This meditation is also offered during a significant collective transition, as Neptune completes its long passage through Pisces, a 14-year era of deep emotional and spiritual processing and enters Aries, marking a shift from feeling into embodied action, courage, and self-leadership. This energetic threshold supports those who are ready not only to heal, but to step forward from that healing with clarity and purpose. This meditation is for anyone navigating substance recovery, emotional detox, major life transitions, or the release of patterns that no longer align with who they are becoming. This is a ritual of return.A meditation for soul reclamation.A space to remember that you are more than your past and that your clarity is a form of leadership.Copyright © 2026 Mariel Serrano. Draumbinding: A Liminal Dream Meditation Inspired by Old Norse Saga Lore

In the Old Norse sagas, dreams were not treated as private fantasies or passing images. They were understood as threads of knowing—messages that moved between worlds when waking language fell quiet. This meditation is a modern practice of draumbinding, inspired by those saga traditions in which stillness, breath, and deep listening opened the way for dreams to be received rather than pursued. It draws on Old Norse concepts such as draumar (dreams as movements of meaning), önd (breath as animating presence), and kyrrð (a living stillness that holds awareness at the threshold of sleep). The language used here is intentionally invocational, echoing the tone of the old stories—not to command or control, but to steady attention and invite perception to deepen. Breath becomes the thread, stillness the doorway, and the dream is allowed to approach in its own time and form.Draumbinding, as offered here, is not about forcing visions or interpreting outcomes. It is about remaining present at the liminal edge, where insight may arrive as image, sensation, memory, or quiet knowing, or not at all.The binding is gentle. The listening is primary. What comes is received. What does not come is still part of the story.Move slowly. The dream remembers the way.

Guided Hypnosis Meditation: Breaking the Cycle

The guided hypnosis meditation is an invitation to gently interrupt the patterns that keep repeating in your life-through thought, loops, emotional habits, reactions, and unconscious behaviors that no longer serve you.Through a slow, trance-like rhythm, subtle breath, awareness, and deep, somatic, listening, and you’ll be guided into the state where awareness begins to observe itself. From this place cycles soften. Automatic responses loosen. Choice quietly returns. Rather than forcing changed, this meditation works by creating space -space between stimulus and reaction, between the past and the present moment. With regular listening in this practice, supports nervous system regulation, increase self-awareness, and the ability to meet old patterns without being pulled back into them. This is best experience, lying down or seated comfortably, in a quiet space where we can fully surrender to the journey. ✨ Use this meditation when you feel stuck, looping, overwhelmed, ready to consciously break an old cycle and step into a new way of being.✨
