Now, while working in finance, I’m building a podcast sponsorship agency and sharing the journey openly.     Corporate & Building a Business - A Juggling Act

    After taking the week off from corporate, I had a lot of extra time to focus on figuring out my business processes, where to focus my time and work more efficiently given my limitation of not being all in.

    Consistent week with a clear idea on what to adjust for the upcoming week. Felt quite slow during the work week but glad I've chipped away and had a few things connect today (Sunday)...Set things up quite well to hit the ground running on Monday. Paying a lot more attention to Quality this week > Quantity (last week).

Naturally, I had to ask how Avery began in this space and his journey into entrepreneurship. Overcoming a lot of financial pressure after his corporate role disappeared post acquisition, leading to a real sink or swim situation. I regularly speak with Avery on building my own business, glad I got to record this one!

As a recent agency owner, I had a tonne of questions on how he has sustainably built his business, systems, teams to operate without tasks falling through the cracks. I took immense value from this conversation, "work at a pace that is sustainable forever" stuck with me, quite fitting as I'm currently reading Nassim Taleb's Antifragile book from his incerto series 👌.
