In this shortened episode, I first discuss how the retrospective with move forward, I then explain who I am,I then give a brief explanation on  music genres from the  80's and 90's and how they lead to the creation of Nu Metal.

I will be breaking down Nu Metal year by year, artist by artist, song by song.I will be talking about the best and the worst and hopefully even talking to some of the people around at the time.

This episode is focused on the band Alter Bridge. They have just released their new album so I have reminisced about the times I have seen them live together with the time I was able to meet them.My "Best of" playlist for Alter Bridge is here.

I look at one of my all time favorite albums this time and it is by Savage Garden - Affirmation.  I talk about why I like it so much, how it is NOT a guilty pleasure and what is believed to have happened to the band.My favorite playlist is here however, I do say I would add a playlist for just the album and I have decided not too because my favorite playlist is mostly just this album.

In this episode, I talk about going to see the legends that are REM at the large, outside venue at Hyde Park in London. They announced that Feeder would be their support which made the concert one of the biggest however, we have a problem with the fact that I choose to queue up over night for the first time and we have problems with different types of queues not being dealt with correctly.

As a legacy to the late, great Olivia Newton-John, I spend this episode talking about the movie Xanadu and the soundtrack.
