Middlescence

In this series let’s change the conversation about aging from ’Is this it?’ and ’What’s left?’ to ’What’s next?’ What does this next phase of your life look like? The term Middlescence was first recorded in the 1960s and now the American gerontologist and life stage expert, Barbara Waxman, is popularising it. For many who find themselves asking ‘IS THIS IT?’ Middlescence presents a wonderful transitional period where we can use the knowledge, experiences and wisdom we’ve gained in the first half of our life, to ride the waves of change - And embrace a big blue ocean of possibilities. I don’t have all the answers……..So I am taking you on this journey with me, because I am this questioning person too, and we can learn from each other.
