Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? 2 How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me? 3 Look on me and answer, Lord my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death, 4 and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,” and my foes will rejoice when I fall. 5 But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. 6 I will sing the Lord’s praise, for he has been good to me. a God of comfort (reclaiming my faith).
impromptu episode“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort. He comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any kind of affliction, through the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ overflow to us, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation. If we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings that we suffer. And our hope for you is firm, because we know that as you share in the sufferings, so you will also share in the comfort.” (2 Corinthians 1:3-7 CSB) “The Lord is near the brokenhearted; he saves those crushed in spirit.” (Psalms 34:18 CSB)“He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds. He counts the number of the stars; he gives names to all of them. Our Lord is great, vast in power; his understanding is infinite. The Lord helps the oppressed but brings the wicked to the ground.” (Psalms 147:3-6 CSB)🌱 let’s stay connected:https://linktr.ee/jrheylynn

when words fail.
on this episode we’re discussing:constant remembrance of who God isin moments of frustration and discouragement, i remember if i never heard another person’s testimony, my faith wouldn’t waiver because he’s already shown me who he iseven when i can’t fathom the words to say to him, he is a father who already knows and he keeps his promiseseven when i don’t think he hears me, his actions show me otherwise“So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary.” (Hebrews 6:18-19 NLT)“For God is not a God of disorder but of peace, as in all the meetings of God’s holy people.” (1 Corinthians 14:33 NLT)🌱 let’s stay connected:https://linktr.ee/jrheylynn

delayed obedience is still disobedience.
on this episode we’re discussing:recent convictionsgetting in your own head and imposter syndromethe enemy will send distractionsquestioning purpose and assignmentfeeling stuck but not being obedientin movements of uncertainty, follow the last instruction God gaveGod desires immediate compliance“Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me. “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned. But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.” (John 15:4-8 NLT)10 When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. (John 15:10 NLT)“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” (Romans 8:28 NLT) 🌱 let’s stay connected:https://linktr.ee/jrheylynn

on this episode we’re discussing:sometimes what we want is not in the proper timing sometimes God has something he wants us to learn or experience before we get to our desireswe have to appreciate our processwhatever you lose isn’t from God—God doesn’t give for it to be takenwe may not understand in the moment but it’ll make sense laterwe will always face adversity, God doesn’t make problems go away but he does make them easier to deal withafter it happens, don’t look back“Let your eyes look forward; fix your gaze straight ahead. ” (Proverbs 4:25 CSB)“Consider it a great joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you experience various trials, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. I will give you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has never been anyone like you before and never will be again. 13 In addition, I will give you what you did not ask for: both riches and honor, so that no king will be your equal during your entire life. 14 If you walk in my ways and keep my statutes and commands just as your father David did, I will give you a long life.” (1 Kings 3:10-14 CSB)🌱 let’s stay connected:https://linktr.ee/jrheylynn

During the forty days after he suffered and died, he appeared to the apostles from time to time, and he proved to them in many ways that he was actually alive. And he talked to them about the Kingdom of God. Once when he was eating with them, he commanded them, “Do not leave Jerusalem until the Father sends you the gift he promised, as I told you before. John baptized with water, but in just a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” So when the apostles were with Jesus, they kept asking him, “Lord, has the time come for you to free Israel and restore our kingdom?” He replied, “The Father alone has the authority to set those dates and times, and they are not for you to know. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” After saying this, he was taken up into a cloud while they were watching, and they could no longer see him.” (Acts of the Apostles 1:2-9 NLT)🌱 let’s stay connected:https://linktr.ee/jrheylynn

hearing his voice.
on this episode we’re discussing:don’t take it for granted when being able to hear God’s voice, limit distractions, resenting God because hearing from the wrong source, obedience to God once you recognize his voice, and redirection.“Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, left the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, where for forty days he was tempted by the devil. He ate nothing during those days, and at the end of them he was hungry.” (Luke 4:1-2 NIV)“I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. 13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth.
