Mom Rage Is Real… Let’s Talk About It

Mom rage is real. That moment where I go from calm to completely overwhelmed in seconds… yeah, I’ve been there more times than I’d like to admit. And in this minisode, I’m not pretending it doesn’t happen—I’m talking about it.This episode is built around James 1:19—being quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry—and what that actually looks like in real life, not just on paper. Because in the middle of the moment, when emotions are high and patience is gone, it’s not easy. For me, this is a reminder that anger itself isn’t the problem—it’s how I respond, what I say, and how I show up afterward. I’m learning to pay attention to my triggers, to be more intentional with my words, and to come back and lead well even when I mess it up the first time. This isn’t about being a perfect mom. It’s about being aware, growing, and choosing better the next time. This week, I’m challenging myself to take one breath before I respond. Not perfection. Not a full reset. Just one breath. If you’re in that same place—trying, failing, learning, and showing up anyway—you’re not alone in this.🔗 Follow along + grab resources:Moms on a Mission Linktree
