Get to know the new head coach of the Montana Soccer team, Stu Gore.  He sits down with the GFP and shares some information on his background as a player and then a coach.  He gives an overview on his coaching philosophy, the potential he sees in Montana, and his hopes for the future. 

Just about 4 weeks on the job as Montana's new head football coach, Bobby Kennedy spent a few hours with us to talk all things Griz football.  Get to know Coach BK a little better as he shares about his background in coaching and his approach to his current job.  Fan questions are woven throughout the 2 hour conversation as well, enjoy!

Bobby Hauck announced his retirement from the University of Montana Football program on February 4th, 2026.  When news of this magnitude hits, you know we've got to drop an emergency pod!  Joining the GFP for the first 50 minutes is Deputy Director of Athletics Greg Sundberg.  Greg talks on the day of the announcement and the days leading up to it.  From there the pod goes into our thoughts and feelings on the news.  We close with the 80+ fan questions that came our way.

With the sting from the semifinal loss still pretty strong, we sat down to talk about the game.  Additional conversations spread to some broader perspectives.  We were flooded with fan questions and nearly half of the pod is covering those.  In the weeks ahead the GFP will release another look ahead pod and full dissection on the 2025 season.

It's time to talk about the greatest upcoming game in the Griz / cat rivalry.  We're back in studio together to talk about what Montana needs to do to win the game.

Arguably the biggest sporting event in Montana will occur this Saturday when the Grizzlies and Bobcats meet in the FCS semifinals.  This week's GFP we give some time to recap the USD win and then move into the upcoming game against the bobcats.  Legacies and bragging rights will forever be on the line this weekend, ramp it up with the GFP!  Go Griz!

With a week of rest the Montana Grizzlies put on their best performance of the season in a masterful beatdown of the SDSU Jackrabbits.  This week we dive into our takeaways from the game and what this means going forward.  We look around the playoffs a bit and give some time to Montana's next opponent, South Dakota.  The last 90 minutes or so cover the overwhelming amount of fan questions.

Joining the pod this week is most everyone's favorite backup running back, and trash talker, Andrew Schmidt.  As one might suspect, this episode dissects a lot of concerns and frustrations following the Brawl loss.  Once all that needed to be said has been said, we move on to playoff talk for the #3 seed Montana.  As always, we close with fan questions. It's Brawl week - FTC

It's cat week, and time for the Brawl of the Wild.  Joining the pod are two former Grizzly players, Samuel Akem and Tyler Hobbs.  Buckle in for 3.5 hours of all the stories and the trash talk you can handle.  

We're giving final thoughts on the EWU game and we preview the Portland State game.  We also give some time to the men's hoops win over UNLV and we assign some madden rankings to the football team.

The Montana Grizzlies let their play do the talking as they took down Sacramento State in a highly talked about game. This episode revisits the win, Brint shares his observations from attending the game, and we recap the positives and concerns. GFR is back to talk Friday night lights in Sacramento!

The Montana Grizzlies are off to their best start since 2009.  However, the GFP has concerns.  Coming off a choppy win against Sacred Heart we dissect and debate areas of concern and needed improvement.  After a quicker chat around the game itself more outward comparison is considered as we look around the rest of the FCS.  From there, it's time to discuss the upcoming Sacramento State game.  The comments made Saturday night from prior pod guest, Sac State president Dr. Luke Wood started a firestorm online.  As always, we close out with fan questions that range from Halloween candy, dive bars, and defensive scheme. GFR is back!  This week Mike, Kyle, and Brint wrap up thoughts on the homecoming weekend and events and how UM marketing hit a home run.  They discuss the Griz at the midway point of the season, and then scout out the Sacred Heart Pioneers.

This week Dr. Luke Wood joined the GFP to talk to us about Sacramento State's future and plans as they attempt to move from the FCS to the FBS.

It's time to kick off the 2025 Grizzly Football season!  Joining the pod for his 5th season kickoff episode is Voice of the Grizzlies, Riley Corcoran.  And for his 2nd time Ace Sauerwein with The Daily Drive is with us as well.  There is plenty of discussion to be had over transfers, fall camp, and players to watch.  We give predictions on the regular season.  We additionally have a handful of guesses on the "over/under" of many outcomes and results from the team or certain players.  In closing we review fan questions.  Of note, there is no preview for the Central Washington game yet, that will come up mid-week in our partner episode, Griz Fan Radio.

The University of Montana officially opted-in to the House Settlement that allows the program to share revenue with the players.  Helping explain what that means and how the next few years will look, Montana Athletic Director Kent Haslam sat down with us to talk it over.  In one of our shorter pods Kent shares the process, the reason for the decision, and how the current NIL collective will continue to operate.  We round out with questions on the bubble, scheduling and the ever changing Big Sky Conference.

In our latest GFP former Griz, and current Regina Roughrider Braxton Hill joins the pod to talk about football career so far.  He shares stories on growing up in Anaconda, playing for Montana, and what the CFL is like.  It's a fun look back on his upbringing that would turn him into one of Montana's more dominant linebackers and then his time as Griz.  

Keelan White joins the GFP in this episode as we discuss his time as a Grizzly and his next steps as he prepares for the CFL draft and possibly an NFL camp invite.  In this episode we cover his recruitment, his best memories, and his training for pro day.  We have a few fan questions to round out the pod as well.

In this special (and shorter) episode of the GFP, we sat down with UM Athletic Director Kent Haslam. We tackle a variety of topics on the minds of Griz Nation. This week we put out the question: If you could ask the athletic department one question, what would it be? The responses received were incredible, and we build an extensive list of questions from it. We did our best to cover as much as possible in our broad conversation. Topics included stadium and facilities improvements, conference alignments, NIL, and recent NCAA lawsuits and settlements. Additionally we discussed fan experience, scheduling, the cost of uniforms and equipment, and much more. It's 2025 and it's time to take a look ahead to what's in store for the Montana Grizzlies.  After a few weeks off the GFP found themselves with quite a few topics to cover!  Through the pod time is given to talk college football and the playoffs (FBS and FCS) in general.  There's some chat to the NFL playoffs as well.  A good portion of the pod is given to discussions portal additions and losses the Grizzlies have had.  Additional discussion is given to best case / worst case early outlooks for the 2025 football season.  There were plenty of fan questions to cover as well, which spurred some chat on the basketball seasons as well.

It's cat week!  The Grizzlies are off to Bozeman as major underdogs in a fight for a playoff seed and to keep the brawl trophy.  Joining the pod is former Grizzly D-lineman Tyler Hobbs.  Hobbs expresses his initial query of what the GFP really does know about football and then the stories get rolling.  Over the course of this marathon pod the high points of the PSU game are covered.  The QB situation is finalized, the Hauck v Fife sideline event, the power outage, and other observations.  Then discussion moves to the bobcats and how the Grizzlies can find a way.  Fan questions are generally covered in most of the pod, those missed get covered near the end.  Go Griz!  FTC!
