He also has a non profit organization called life thru music where he works with fellow educators, students, and community leaders using the genre of Hip Hop as a medium to communicate life lessons. The Drake/Kendrick Lamar saga, Albums released by veteran rappers, the legal issues of Sean "P.Diddy" Combs, and the documentary that followed put out by Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson. The relevancy of the genre being that it didn't chart any new songs in the top 40. Plus other honorable mentions. It was a year of of significant highs and lows, so this segment covers the big events that happened.
