In 2006 The Governor of the State of Illinois approved a $200,000 grant for the house music community to produce the Ist annual International House Music Festival. Chicago is also the first city to name a street after a DJ.(Grammy Award recipient Music producer/DJ Frankie Knuckles. The radio show explores various topics in the house music industry from the latest technology in music production and spinning, Celebrity interviews, and Contest Giveaways.
