We're back! This episode was recorded in maybe October 2021?? Meghan tells the interesting tale of the Beast of Truro, which was very briefly mentioned in the 1997 hit movie "Men in Black." The creature, who killed a 100 cats, could be a mountain lion, a panther, a hyena, a dog, a pack of dogs, a fisherman, or something more sinister? Whatever it was, it was NOT a fox.

Nicole reads some "real" alien encounters.

  8. 23

Star Jelly Probably Isn't Our Friend

In this episode, Nicole discusses Star jelly, which is a gelatinous substance that seemingly appears from the sky. There have been reports of it moving and being toxic to people and pets. It is believed to either be an alien, jellyfish that live in the sky, or some sort of mold. In the middle ages -- which was an all-around wild time -- it was recommended to rub Star jelly into wounds. Please don't do that as tempting as it sounds.

  9. 22

    Past Life Regression

After a super long hiatus, we are back! In this episode, Meghan talks all about past life regression through hypnosis. Just a quick note -- this episode was recorded back in November when the ridiculous 'Supernatural' series finale aired so Nicole talks quite a bit about that. Just a fair warning to everyone. Enjoy!

The terrifying tales include a sus pen pal, potential doppelgangers, a possible alien abduction, and a kid teleporting in a waterpark. She also gives an exciting update about the Dover Demon case. As an added bonus -- Meghan and Nicole reveal that they have a difficult time remembering the year 2017 and possibly have no concept of time at all.

  14. 17

The Malleus Maleficarum Does Not Pass The Vibe Check

In this episode, Meghan takes a brief look into the Malleus Maleficarum and the buck wild items within it. Heinrich Kramer was too invested in other people’s lives and especially witches, but honestly, we’re still wondering how he knew so much about witches in the first place.

  15. 16

    Are Time Travelers Our Friends?

In this week's episode, Nicole brings to the table a collection of claims from time travelers. What could they be here for? Some claim it's punishment and, well, we're not sure, but you can make your own judgement call.

This week, Meghan dives into the tangled web that is the Loch Ness Monster’s history, with appearances from a saint, a business man and his university graduate wife, and an actor/director/producer/con man—just to name a few. Is Nessie hanging out in Loch Ness? We hope so, but we’ll let you decide for yourself.

  19. 12

Three "Haunted" Dolls Who Are Not Our Friends

In this episode, Nicole tells the very stupid tales of three "haunted" dolls. Meghan and Nicole also delve into hysterics over a poorly designed book cover.

  20. 11

The Wild Tale Of The Bell Witch -- A 1800s Haunting

Happy Halloween! This week Meghan discusses the weird, wild tale of the Bell Witch -- an invisible witch named Kate, who loved having philosophical debates and getting drunk, that haunted and terrorized the Bell family in the 1800s (they owed enslaved people so they 100% deserved it). This episode features weird rabbit-dog creatures, violent poltergeist activity, and the seventh president of the United States Andrew Jackson, so buckle up.

  21. 10

    Strange Cases of Doppelgängers

Nicole is dipping into the doppelganger phenomenon up to and including her own experiences! From a questionable school teacher to the dramatic life of Percy Shelley, we're learning not only about seeing doubles but also about the unusual habits of the Shelley family. Everyone keeps a loved one's heart in their desk, right?

The Loveland Frogmen Are 100% Our Friends

Behold the tale of the Loveland Frogmen! There have been numerous sightings of these bipedal frogs in Clermont County, Ohio from 1955 to 2016. These handsome guys are about 3 feet tall and may be able to control electricity through sticks which is super fun. The frogmen have been seen by a variety of folks including a lonely businessman, rightfully bullied 1970s cops, and a Pokemon Go player. If only we could all be so lucky.

  24. 7

    Kappa Might Be Our Friend

In this week's episode, Meghan shares some of the lore behind Kappa. Hold on to your butts because these "very polite" little guys really want to meet you. You may encounter one in the river or just hanging out to do mischief in your house. So grab your cucumbers and get ready to learn about this famous yokai.

  25. 6

Some of these "antique" kits that will protect you from vampires may include silver bullets, wooden steaks, a mysterious serum, a painting of possums, chicken leg goblets, and a book about horrible ways to die for the low low price of a couple thousand dollars. What a steal. Also, we have a special treat for all our emo listeners -- bass player Charles Trippy of We The Kings makes a fun little cameo in the story.

  28. 3

Indrid Cold (aka The Grinning Man) Will Never Be Our Friend

Buckle up for a wild ride! This episode is all about Indrid Cold, aka The Grinning Man. This dude was a human-like alien who allegedly visited West Virginia in the 1960s and seemingly was desperate for friends. He also may or may not be still living in Cleveland, Ohio???
