My Autism DISCO

A discussion of unmasking as a lifelong heavily-masked individual, the tangible benefits I'm now experiencing three years on, the role my relationship with my father and centering men has played in my masking, Threads as therapy, etc.Longer than Episode Four but still technically under an hour, so I'll take it. And yes, I did say "flip switched" without even catching it, which isn't uncommon for my brain. Also, yes, I'm clearly referring to fight/flight/freeze/fawn responses without actually using those words because who tf knows why. And I realize I'm speaking at the end as if y'all are listening to this same day, but the message still obviously stands. I also should have said "the beginning" of the economic shutdown, because we need to be in this for the long haul. And yes, that's absolutely my stomach growling at one point. It happens.
