Episode 21: Tiffany and Arabella Carers Experiences!
📣🚨 Tiffany and Arabella🚨 📣🎙️ New Episode: Carers Experiences! In this episode, we sit down with Tiffany and Arabella to discuss all things personal care. From university lecture halls to real-world impact, this episode explores what it truly means to build a career in care. We unpack the journey of balancing a nursing and midwifery dual degree alongside support work — and how the flexibility, time management, and resilience required to do both can shape someone into a stronger future clinician. What started with a manual handling course through Spinal Life became a foot in the door to the healthcare field, opening pathways that extended far beyond the classroom. This conversation highlights how support work develops practical clinical skills like personal care, but more importantly, how it builds confidence, communication, and perspective. From a rocky start to finding purpose, it’s a reminder that showing up as a support worker truly matters — not just for clients, but for personal and professional growth. The rewards go beyond experience; they’re life skills that carry into every future role in healthcare. We also welcome back Tiff for her second appearance, sharing more about her expanded role as a support worker — including travelling with Lindsay and navigating the world through an accessible lens. Together, we explore how communication underpins everything: teamwork, trust, independence, and enabling people to achieve their goals and dreams.Feel free to have a listen and let me know what you think!! 🧑⚕️🇮🇪🦘😀
