I'm a lone wolf. But, I chose this.Not because I didn't want to belong. But because belonging meant making myself smaller. It meant staying numb. It meant saying yes to things my body was screaming no to.And at some point, I realized: I'd rather be alone and awake than surrounded and asleep.This is the story of choosing myself. Choosing my gifts. Choosing God over the systems that tried to convince me for decades that knowing God required a middleman.

I am the culmination of generations of women who couldn't choose themselves. Women who swallowed their voices. Women who stayed. Women who sacrificed everything and called it love.The pressure builds. For generations it builds. Until it has to pop. And when it popped in me-I found God.Not the God of institutional religion. Not the God they taught me to fear. But a God that said: choose yourself. Choose your children. Choose authenticity.And that choice? That's everything.
