    On January 6th 2021, Joe Fischer attended the Stop the Steal rally. He sent a couple of grammatically incorrect yet dramatic texts to his friends and followed the rest of the insurrectionists in after the doors of the capitol building had been stormed. The question in his case, which can impact the sentencing and prosecutions of over 300 individuals (including Trump) is whether his actions violate the 2002 1512 Obstruction clause.
