Nemi concludes our 'Teach us to Pray' series in Eltham by teaching us about the blessing of fasting. Nemi unpacks how fasting helps bring us closer to God, hear His voice, but also connects us with the last, the least and the lost. He encourages us to make fasting a discipline in our lives to help our walk with God.

Our God is the God of the Seasons. While our lives change through different seasons, he remains the constant, covenant making God. Which season are you in? Which season is our congregations in?

It’s also the beginning and end goal of humanity - intimacy with God. As a result, it’s also an invitation into greater intimacy with God that requires us to humble ourselves and say that we aren’t the God of our lives. However, the blessing of this is that as we draw near to Him, He promises to draw near to us.
