I'm Building a Tech Festival. Here's How AI Is Making It Happen.

If you've ever counted the men on a tech panel before you've counted the empty seats — this one's for you.I'm building a tech festival in Australia. For women. By women. Centering women. Talks, workshops, art installations, DJs, a sponsors village, a beauty bar, possibly a cyberdeck station. Zero panels of dudes. It's called Techella and the wait list is open.In this episode I walk you through how this went from a DM about a grey keyboard to 200+ women on a wait list, sponsors already in talks, and 45+ speaker applications — all built with Claude Code.🔗 Wait list: techellafest.com 🔗 Speakers/workshops: techellafest.com/speakers (speakers page) 🔗 Sponsors/partnerships: techellafest.com/sponsorships (partnerships page)🔥 WORK WITH ME→ Wright Mode Membership: wrightmode.com/membership → Claude Masterclass: wrightmode.com/aidreamteam → 1:1 AI Consulting: wrightmode.com/consultingMENTIONED IN THIS EPISODETechella — techellafest.comBrand Nat (AI influencer, Australia)Claude Code (built the website, wait list, and ops)ChatGPT image generator (logo creation)Canva (logo cleanup)Cyberdecks (the Polly Pocket personal computers from TikTok)CONNECTInstagram: @wright_mode · Website: wrightmode.com📌 If you're not a tiny bit terrified, you're probably building something too small. How to Price AI Automations Without Undercharging (My Exact Formula)

If your client is burning $52k a year on a task you can automate, and you're quoting them three hundred bucks because that's what your time is "worth" — we need to talk. This is the pricing conversation I wish someone had sat me down for three years ago. In this ep I break down the exact framework I use (and that I had to be walked into by my business advisor Peta from The Professional Babe) for pricing automations and AI consulting based on the result you create — not the hours you spend wiring it up.Inside this episode:Why hourly pricing quietly punishes you for being good at your jobThe mindset shift from "what does my time cost" to "what does their pain cost"The four discovery call questions that surface the numbers you need to quoteThe actual formula — hours saved × hourly rate × 52 = annual savings — and where to land your fee inside thatA worked example you can copy-paste into your next proposalWord-for-word proposal copy that frames your fee against their savingsHow to handle "that seems expensive" without flinching, discounting, or over-explainingThe Phase 1 Discovery trick that gets you paid for the thinking (and filters tyre-kickers)A neurodivergent-friendly note on the urge to apologise for your price (and the silence that does the work for you)This ep was sparked by a question from Georgina inside my Skool community Wright Mode, with a smart addition from Mariana on minimum fees — both shouted out throughout. If you've moved from hourly to project work and the pricing question is wrecking your brain — this one's for you. 0:00 - Why hourly pricing is bleeding you money 1:42 - The mindset shift that changed how I quote 7:58 - 4 discovery call questions that unlock your real fee 12:37 - The formula + a $52,000 worked example 16:24 - Proposal copy you can steal (+ handling "that's expensive") 21:10 - AI Confession Booth 22:47 - Your one-task experiment for this weekJoin Wright Mode on Skool — the community where this conversation started and where we workshop pricing, builds, and funnels every week with zero AI bro energy. 👉 https://www.skool.com/wright-mode-membership/about Want to work together? How AI changed my Neurodivergent life (I've been avoiding this episode!!)

I mention my ADHD and autism in almost every episode. But I've never actually sat down and talked about it properly — what it actually looks like, what AI does for a brain that works like mine, and the parts that aren't all sunshine and productivity hacks. This is that episode. The one I've been putting off. I was diagnosed ADHD at 35 and autistic shortly after, and it rewired how I understood everything about myself. I built Wright Mode because of how my brain works, not despite it — and AI gave me access to running a business my brain wouldn't have let me run without it.In this episode: — Why I built Wright Mode around my neurodivergent brain — How AI acts as an external executive function system — Body doubling with AI (sounds weird, works incredibly) — Why "just be consistent" doesn't work for ADHD brains — and what does — Banking energy: using hyperfocus windows to build systems for low-energy days — The dark side: hyperfocus + AI = no off switch — Why AI is about access, not productivity hacks — Building boundaries when your brain doesn't have an "enough" signalLinks: 🔗 Join the Wright Mode Membership: https://www.skool.com/wright-mode-membershipConnect with me: Instagram: @wright_mode YouTube: Not Another AI Girl Want to work together? When AI Makes You Too Productive (The Boundary Episode)

Every AI educator (myself included) is out here telling you to save 10 hours a week and automate everything. But nobody talks about what happens after you get those hours back — because most of us don't rest. We just build more.In this episode, I'm sitting in my bed (on purpose) talking about the thing I've been realising lately: AI can make you too productive. Especially if you're neurodivergent, especially if you tie your identity to output, and especially if you've just discovered Claude Code and can't stop building things.I'm sharing the signs I missed, what the productivity trap actually looks like, and four things I've changed to stop turning saved time into more work.In this episode: — The difference between working smarter and working more — Why AI + ADHD creates a dopamine loop nobody warns you about — The signs you're using AI to do more instead of reclaiming your time — How I define "enough" and build off switches into my automations — Why I finally started batching content (never thought I'd say that) — Permission to close the laptop when you're doneLinks mentioned: 🔗 Join the Wright Mode Membership: https://www.skool.com/wright-mode-membership Want to work together? I Learned Claude Code in 30 Days (As a Non-Technical Founder). Here's What I Built.

If you've been seeing Claude Code everywhere and thinking "that's a developer thing, not for me" — I need you to listen to this one.30 days ago I decided to learn Claude Code in public. As a non-technical founder. With an Arts degree. And every YouTube tutorial I found was a dude building an app — which is great, but I don't build apps. I run a business. So I asked a different question: what can Claude Code do for that?Holy dooly. Mind blown. In this episode I'm walking you through:What Claude Code actually is in plain English (and how it's different to using Claude in the browser — chat gives you advice, code gives you outcomes)Why right now is THE moment — including the Anthropic hackathon where 3 of 5 winners weren't developers, and a solo female founder who hit $1M ARR building with Claude CodeThe brand voice audit + copywriter/editor skill system I built that stopped my AI content sounding repetitiveMy TikTok content analytics dashboard (because screenshotting insights into a spreadsheet was giving cavewoman energy)A full SEO audit of my website — pages, keywords, metadata, competitor gaps — plus a daily action email system so I actually fixed thingsThe personalised membership onboarding system that has members saying "I feel so seen"A tool that builds Claude-powered shareable GPTs (because my members are leaving ChatGPT and need their custom GPTs to come with them)The landing page I built in minutes that's driven almost $10,000 in Claude Masterclass sign-upsThe honest stuff: what went sideways, the mindset shift from "non-technical" to "builder," and why my ADHD brain is now in a committed relationship with my terminalPlus the AI Confession Booth gets a screen-time intervention 👀 and your Not Another To-Do for the week.✨ Show Notes / LinksClaudemasterclass - SIGN UP HERE https://claude-workshop-sales-page.vercel.app/Tip from this episode: When starting out in Claude Code, hit Shift + Tab to put it into plan mode. The Difference Between Using AI and Having an AI Strategy

Using AI is opening ChatGPT when you need something. Having an AI strategy is embedding AI into how your business actually runs. Episode Summary - The difference between using AI (reactive, task-based) and having an AI strategy (intentional, systematic, embedded) - Why using AI doesn't compound — you're starting from scratch every time - Three pillars of actual AI strategy: where it fits, what AI does vs what you do, and how your systems connect - The 6-step framework to build your own AI strategy (audit, identify repeatables, pick one area, design first, build/test, document) - Real examples: How automations handle podcast transcripts → show notes, social posts; how I prep for discovery calls; why this is infrastructure, not just an app you open - Five signs you're just using AI instead of strategising (constantly trying new tools, scattered tasks, unchanged workflows, can't articulate the value, feels overwhelming) --- ✨ Connect With Brooke DM me on Instagram → @wright_mode Ready to build your actual AI strategy? 2025 was the year everyone jumped on AI. 2026 is when your actual strategy matters. If you're still using ChatGPT to write captions and hoping for the best, we need to talk. Episode Summary - Why AI slop became the word of the year — and why your audience is clocking it - The biggest mistake businesses made in 2025 (spoiler: trying to replace skilled humans with ChatGPT) - How to articulate your AI edge so clients actually believe you know what you're doing - What an AI operating system actually looks like (and why it's not just opening ChatGPT) - The shift from lazy AI to strategic AI — from apps you open and close, to AI embedded in how you actually work - Why highly skilled people with AI are becoming insanely valuable (and why mid-level talent is struggling) - Brooke's 2026 move: doubling down on this podcast, building out the Dream Team Workshop, and staying known for strategic AI education (not chasing every shiny tool) - Your actual to-do: audit how you're using AI right now — is it embedded or are you context-switching like mad? --- ✨ Connect With Brooke DM me on Instagram → @wrightmode Want to go deep on AI in your business? Check out the Dream Team Workshop coming in February and the Membership (by application) for ongoing support. Visit wrightwayvs.com for more Want to work together? AI Literacy: What You're Actually Losing When You Outsource Your Thinking

Every time you default to ChatGPT, you're slowly eroding a skill you might actually need. Here's what no one's saying about AI and how to use it without accidentally training yourself out of the abilities that make you valuable. Episode Summary - The real cost of outsourcing everything to AI (and why it's not controversial) - What Peta from Professional Babe discovered when she banned AI from a brainstorming session - Why reflexes are hard to override — and this is happening way faster than we realised - Where I personally draws the line (and where I doesn't always get it right) - AI literacy isn't about prompts — it's about knowing when NOT to use it Challenge for This Week Next time you reach for ChatGPT or Claude, pause for a second. Ask yourself: Am I using this because it's strategic, or because I'm avoiding the discomfort of thinking? A year ago, I was copying and pasting between AI and my tools. Now I'm running a six-figure business with AI embedded into everything. Here's the framework that changed it. I Did a Triathlon With Zero Training — Here's What I Learned About Entrepreneurship

Picture this: I rock up to a sprint triathlon with zero training, a mountain bike, and bike pants instead of a wetsuit. Everyone else? Road bikes, tri suits, the works. I came dead last. And it was one of the best things I've ever done. This episode isn't about athletic glory (spoiler: there was none). It's about keeping promises to yourself — the most underrated business strategy no one talks about.I'll share:Why I signed up the night before — and how my word for the year (take action) pushed me past the "I'm not ready" spiralThe ADHD trap of brilliant ideas that go nowhere — and how I finally broke the cycle of breaking promises to myselfWhat quitting drinking taught me about self-trust — three months of keeping one hard promise changed everythingThe business parallel you need to hear — waiting for the perfect website/rebrand/VA/energy level is keeping you stuckWhy your mountain bike is enough — you don't need the right gear, you just need to start with what you've gotHow self-belief actually builds — it's not affirmations, it's proof you keep showing yourselfIf you've been waiting for perfect conditions to launch that thing, hire that person, or start that project — this one's for you.✨ Links & ResourcesMy business advisor: Pea from The Professional Babe — genuinely one of the biggest shifts in my mindset this year. Head to wrightmode.comSlide into my DMs → @wright_mode — tell me what you've been putting off because you're "not ready yet"🎙 AI Confession Booth: Featuring My HusbandOkay this one's gold. My husband was using ChatGPT to help him draft a casual email to a colleague named Tiffany. He asked it to make the tone friendly and approachable.ChatGPT's suggestion? "Hey Fanny"We LOST IT. In what universe is "Fanny" the casual nickname for Tiffany?! Maybe it is and we're just uncultured, but mate — imagine if he'd sent that as a director-level email 💀This is your regular reminder that AI is brilliant and chaotic, and you should always read before you send.Your turn: DM me your funniest AI fails and I'll shout them out in the next episode.🧠 One Thing to Try This Week: Break One Small Promise You Keep BreakingPick the smallest promise you keep making to yourself and not keeping. Not the big scary one. The little one.Maybe it's:Posting once this week (not a perfect post, just a post)Reaching out to one potential clientFinishing that 10-minute task you've been avoiding for weeksDo it. Keep the promise. Notice how it feels. That's how self-trust builds. One tiny kept promise at a time. And remember: your mountain bike is enough. Whatever you've got right now — the janky mic, the Canva brand, the draft website — it's enough to start.Progress beats perfection. Every single time. Want to work together? 4 Simple AI Automations I'm Actually Using in my Biz (And How to Know Where to Start)

Most people think automations are overwhelming. But here's the thing — you don't need a fancy system to make a real dent in your workload. I'm breaking down four automations I've built that are genuinely high-impact, plus the framework I use to figure out what's worth automating in your business.I cover: - Why most people get stuck with automations (and how to actually start) - The difference between automations and AI agents (and when to use each) - Four automations I'm running: CRM intake forms → AI research agent, membership applications with smart filtering, PR opportunity catching, and email-to-Slack workflows - My strategy framework before you build anything (hint: start with the end goal) - Tools I use: N8N for complex workflows, Zapier for simple one-step automations, Moxie CRM, Google Sheets as your friend ✨ Connect With Brooke DM me on Instagram → @wrightmode Want to go deep on AI in your business? Check out the Dream Team Workshop and the Membership (by application) for ongoing support and co-work sessions Visit wrightmode.com for more Want to work together? Gastro, Grief + Taking time off in my business

If you’ve ever come back from a holiday feeling more tired than before you left — you’re not broken, you’re just human (and probably neurodivergent). In this week’s episode, I’m debriefing what actually happens when you take time off from your business — the good, the chaotic, and the gastro-on-a-plane level plot twists.I share:How I prepped to fully switch off (and didn’t lose momentum). What unplugging from socials taught me about creativity and consistency. The exact AI tools I used in my first week back — from clearing my inbox to auditing my Flodesk emails. Why rest doesn’t always feel restful for ND founders — and what I did to manage the crash that hit after. The small automations I built once my brain finally had breathing room. We’re talking nervous system hangovers, grateful tears, and automation wins — all in one episode.🧠 Resources mentionedBrain Buddy GPT – my free GPT that helps with executive dysfunction and overwhelm (aka your AI wingwoman for to-do list paralysis)Wright Mode – tools, automations + workshopsInstagram → @wright_mode✨ Your Not Another To-DoPick one small, boring task you keep putting off — unsubscribing from junk emails, uploading a replay, whatever it is. Ask ChatGPT to do 80% of it for you. Let it clear the clutter so your creativity can breathe. From Corporate Burnout to AI Consultant— My Messy, Strategic, Very ADHD Journey

If you've ever felt like you're "full of potential but under-utilised," this one's for you. In Episode 2, I'm pulling back the curtain on my career chaos — from small-town Mudgee to Sydney Uni (via train… bad call), through hospital admin, insurance call centres (nightmare fuel), and eventually into local government. Spoiler: I burned out. A lot.I'll share:Why I didn't get diagnosed until 35 — and how my GP finally named what I'd been living with for decades (ADHD + autism = suddenly everything made sense)The burnout cycle I couldn't break — sick days that turned into shutdowns, guilt spirals, and masking my way through nine-to-five lifeHow building my own business changed everything — no more "making up hours," no more forcing my brain to perform on low-dopamine daysThe role AI plays now — voice-noting ideas into custom GPTs so I can actually act on them instead of letting brilliant thoughts dissolve into beach-walk brain fogWhy I stopped drinking (12 months today, actually — holy shit) and how that + working for myself = no burnout in over a yearThis episode is a little rambly, a little vulnerable, and very real. If you've ever wondered whether you could build a business that works with your brain instead of against it — stick around.✨ Links & ResourcesMy automation hack: Voice note your idea into a custom GPT (like my Content GPT), let it draft the thing, then send it straight to Notion where my VA schedules it. Zero brain drain.Google's NotebookLM — I'll be doing a full episode on this soon, but if you haven't tried it yet, go now. It's chef's kiss for ND brains.Imagen 3 (aka Nano Banana) — Google's image gen tool. I used it to make the Saved by the Bell-themed podcast tile you're probably looking at right now 😏Wanna work together? Head to wrightmode.com to see how we can build AI systems that actually work for your brain (not against it)Slide into my DMs on Instagram → @wright_mode — tell me your random AI confession or just say hi🎙 AI Confession BoothThis week's unhinged AI use? I fed some podcast ideas into Google's Imagen 3 and asked it to make the tile look like a Saved by the Bell intro. Did it work? Kinda. Am I keeping it? For now, yes. We're vibing.Your turn: DM me the weirdest, funniest, or most chaotic way you've used AI recently and I'll shout it out in the next episode.🧠 One Thing to Try This Week: The Low-Dopamine Day Permission SlipNext time you wake up and your brain says "nope, not today" — don't fight it. Give yourself permission to:Move your bodySloth around guilt-freeWork later if the energy comes back (or don't)Episode Length: ~18 minutes Vibe: Reflective, a little chaotic, very relatable Best for: Founders, ADHD/autistic entrepreneurs, anyone who's ever cried in a work bathroom and thought "there has to be another way"Catch you next time 💛 Want to work together?
