Through years of struggle, Brian found relief first in telling a close family friend, and much later, through the prosecution of his abuser, who eventually plead guilty. Brian's story is one of strength and determination, and a reminder that the trauma and struggles many of us experience, most importantly our children, are secretly hidden away.In honor of Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month, Brian joined us to talk about his own experience, how he has worked towards healing and what he does today to help others.
