This beat is inspired by TNGHT - Top Floor (https://youtu.be/KQdZm4PqWGs) and Lil Wayne - A Milli (https://youtu.be/O8Uhn-dU3Gg). Even though it's a more simple loop, I think it sounds the most well-done on the album so I put it first.

I had to do at least one funk/soul sample beat so here's one of the Stylistics - Stop, Look, Listen (To Your Heart) [https://youtu.be/MJjU0eWnKgg] with some cool distortion in the middle. Since this is the Stylistics, I'm not the first one to sample it and looking up this song on WhoSampled made me feel self-conscious.

This uses a generic wind sample in the intro and outro but is otherwise not wind-related. Very little use of stereo in this song, does not feel that spread out over both L and R. Nice second half, very many crash symbols. Wow, I feel like I'm critiquing my own song.

Nice chilly sound on this beat, with no real base sample other than the hits from OWEN J 2.0, and a bunch of symbol uprisers. It swaps around between sections a lot in the middle, but I really like the way this turned out otherwise.

This was originally titled "Floor B", and then "How Did I Get Here", but I guess I do think the main lead sounds like a submarine, somehow. Very distorted percussion in the second half feels almost Mad Max-esque. No base sample.

A very experimental soundscape-thing that has some percussion at the end. I was sort of just mashing keys on my MIDI keyboard on a creepy Omnisphere preset and layered it over a rocket explosion video. The actual video is haunting and I suggest you watch it - https://youtu.be/FBJ9ue6GKek.

Samples the intro music for ndsuvirtualcell, which I heard in AP Bio while watching a video on ATP synthases (https://youtu.be/3y1dO4nNaKY). Also sampled a video of a woman yelling at a guy on the NYC subway but I can't find the source for it.

Another soul sample beat. This particular song had a very inconsistent BPM so it was hard to line it up with percussion. The closing section at the end was supposed to have custom percussion but I couldn't line it up with the percussion in the sample. The vocal sample in the middle was from the classic video MDE Whypz (https://youtu.be/D71iSwArWVI).

I feel like this is pretty self-explanatory. I was a bit late to the Bad and Boujee remix phase but it sounds so good over the Professor Layton puzzle solving theme (https://youtu.be/AVcNPWhdrRw). I haven't even played any Layton myself, I only knew this theme because my mom used to play it.

Very beautiful instrumental sample from which I cannot source - but if you know it you know it if you know what I mean. I actually used some Patatap sound effects as percussion (http://patatap.com) which is a really fun site to play around with and has really good sounds.

The choir from Kanye West - Waves (https://youtu.be/uysp-0E5wD8) reversed and pitched down which has a rather emotional chord progression. This took over a year of procrastination and maybe 45 minutes of actual work to finish.

A remix for 21 Savage - Red Opps (https://youtu.be/mWISiHcGoNg) which greatly contrasts the original song's minimalist instrumental. Made with no main sample, just Omnisphere, Kontakt, and Owen J 2.0.

This is a chilly beat with some crisp synths. This was also originally for Gabe. At the end there's a cool mellotron thing but that's not a sample.

My weakest beat on the album. This is probably the most generic thing I've made. No samples.
