Off The Bench

In hour three of OTB we kick things off talking more about Lane Kiffin’s Vanity Fair article and the bad blood that continues to brew between LSU and Ole Miss. Chris Blair also joins the show as we talk some baseball and football before wrapping things up with Ask the Bench.

Dr. Stephen Etheredge joins us to start hour two as we talk some NBA Playoffs, especially the San Antonio Spurs, and predict the Finals will be Spurs vs. New York Knicks. Beth Torina joins the show to preview LSU softball’s regional. We wrap up the hour talking about baseball superstitions.

In hour one of OTB we kick things off with the weekly vibe check as we hear about Tay Tay having to put Razr’s crib together and Alondra’s bench press journey. We also talk about College GameDay being at LSU’s season opener against Clemson Tigers football this upcoming season and the hype around the season because of Lane Kiffin. Plus, Ross Jackson joins the show as we talk some New Orleans Saints and discuss Cam Jordan.

In hour three of OTB we kick things off with Nick Underhill as we talk about the New Orleans Saints rookie minicamp and some early impressions from the weekend. We also discuss just how insane the LSU vs. Ole Miss game in Oxford is going to be this season with all the bad blood between the two programs. Plus, we talk a little NBA Playoffs and the Los Angeles Lakers getting swept before wrapping up the show with Ask the Bench.

In hour two of OTB we talk about cats and learn that you apparently are not actually supposed to give them milk. We also do OTB Mailbag and discuss Lane Kiffin’s interview with Vanity Fair.

In hour one of OTB we talk about Matt going to a convention and being on a panel before somehow getting back on the topic of birds again. We also discuss LSU softball hosting a regional and what the bracket looks like, which leads into a conversation about Virginia Tech Hokies softball and an article complaining about them not hosting. Plus, we touch on the NFL schedule release.

It’s Marler Monday in hour three of OTB as Chris Marler joins the show and things immediately stop being linear. We definitely do Weekend Winners, and at some point we take a look at which stadiums have the cheapest and most expensive hot dog and beer combos. Beyond that? Unsure.

In hour two of OTB we talk some New Orleans Saints and their rookie minicamp over the weekend. We also discuss LSU football, which Tigers could bring home awards this season, and ESPN’s top 25 award candidates list. Plus, we talk about just how new LSU’s offense is going to look this season before wrapping up the hour talking Bobby Cox.

In hour one of OTB we kick things off by recapping our weekends before unfortunately having to recap LSU baseball getting swept by Georgia and just how disappointing and frustrating this season has been. On the bright side, though, LSU softball gets into the postseason and will be hosting a regional.

In hour three of OTB we talk LSU vs. Georgia baseball and call for a gentleman’s sweep from the Tigers. We also continue diving into the absolutely insane Mike Vrabel/Dianna Russini gossip before finally wrapping up the show by telling Jake happy birthday.

In hour two of OTB we kick things off by looking at the college football conference championship odds and discussing what we agree and disagree with. We also talk about the day’s bump theme featuring covers that are better or more well-known than the originals, which somehow turns into a conversation about which instruments we would play. Plus, we discuss whether Aaron Rodgers will end up playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers this season.

In hour one of OTB we kick off the show pretending we don’t know it’s Jake’s birthday by saying happy birthday to literally everybody except him. We also somehow get into a conversation about jersey numbers before talking LSU basketball recruiting as Will Wade lands another commitment.

In hour three of OTB we kick things off with Jay Johnson as we talk about LSU’s series win over South Carolina and the outlook for the rest of the season. We also revisit the Dianna Russini/Mike Vrabel situation, do Munchies with Chef Michael Johnson, and wrap up the show with Ask the Bench.

In hour two of OTB we talk about a CBS article ranking the worst quarterback rooms in the NFL, where the New Orleans Saints landed, and why we basically disagree with the entire list. We also somehow get on the topic of hantavirus before talking some LSU softball.

In hour one of OTB we somehow kick off the show talking about the Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini scandal and how every new detail that comes out somehow makes the situation even wilder. We debate whether anything will actually happen to Mike Vrabel because of it before switching gears to the referee controversy around the NFL and discussing Roger Goodell’s comments on the situation.

In hour three of OTB we kick things off by giving our picks for the best songs to play with the windows rolled down on a nice weather day. We also talk about Brian Kelly’s son Patrick Kelly joining the Ole Miss staff, discuss the possibility of the College Football Playoff expanding again, and wrap up the show with a take from Taylor that is wildly unexpected and completely un-American.

In hour two of OTB we kick things off with Dr. Stephen Etheredge. We talk LSU basketball landing a commitment from Marcio Santos and discuss Will Wade’s comments about having seven or eight guys. We also get into a conversation about the power of the mind and mental toughness.

In hour two of OTB we kick things off talking about Buc-ee’s for some reason before switching gears to LSU softball and how dominant they’ve looked over the last few weeks, outside of the Mississippi State series. Will Helmers joins the show as we continue talking LSU baseball, and Tay Tay gives us some recruiting news for the Tigers.

In hour one of OTB the tripod is back together as we spend the opening segment recapping our weekend and roasting Chris Marler. We also talk LSU baseball sweeping South Carolina and what it means for the team moving forward.

In hour three of OTB we kick things off with Devin Snow to talk all things Talladega and the Kentucky Derby. Matt also teaches Alondra about betting on horses as the crew each picks a horse to bet on. We announce the winner of Jake’s raffle and wrap up the show with Ask the Bench.

In hour two of OTB we talk LSU softball and how fun this team has been to watch after beating Auburn last night. We also get back into some Talladega talk before discussing the upcoming Kentucky Derby.

In hour one of OTB we kick things off talking about how Punxsutawney Phil may have actually been right. The conversation then goes all over the place as we debate bumper stickers, whether it’s easier to reverse into a parking spot or park normally, and hot coffee vs. cold coffee. We also address a weird comment Chris Marler made toward Alondra before eventually getting to some sports talk with LSU vs. South Carolina baseball.

In hour three of OTB we continue the conversation about John Harbaugh before Jake tests the group to see if they can name 3 of the 5 winningest head coaches in NFL history. Chef Michael Johnson joins the show for Munchies, and we once again debate Garth Brooks vs. George Strait.

In hour two of OTB we kick things off with maybe the most pointless conversation ever before paying respects to David Allan Coe, even though Jake and Alondra already thought he had passed away. We also talk about the NCAA potentially expanding the basketball tournament to 76 teams. Matt then starts a fire in the room by saying he thinks John Harbaugh is overrated.

In hour one of OTB we bounce around a bit as we talk about our favorite three-month stretches of the year, fountain drinks, and the debate between cans vs. bottles. We also get into a discussion about the best country artists of all time before eventually making our way to some sports talk with LSU football.

In hour three of OTB we kick things off talking sports cards before getting back into some Talladega stories. That conversation somehow turns into a discussion about Chili’s before we wrap up the show with Ask the Bench.

In hour two of OTB we kick things off with Dr. Stephen Etheredge before diving into LSU spring football. We discuss how we’re feeling about the team coming out of camp and what we can realistically take away from spring practices.

In hour one of OTB we somehow start the show talking baseball before getting into a little NBA Playoffs discussion. We also talk about the next team that Hard Knocks is going to follow and revisit the front office version that followed the Giants a couple years ago.

In hour three of OTB we kick things off with Matt giving us a recap of his trip to Talladega before getting into some NASCAR talk in general. Nick Underhill also joins the show to give his thoughts on how the Saints did in the NFL Draft before we wrap things up with Ask the Bench.

In hour one of OTB we get Alondra’s recap of her trip to Starkville for the LSU vs. Mississippi State series. We also react to the Tigers getting swept once again and discuss just how brutal this season has been. Plus, we talk about how the Saints did in the NFL Draft.

In hour three of OTB we talk about Kalen DeBoer’s contract before Cate Hargett and her mom Jenni join us to discuss the swab event and why it’s so important not only for Cate but for others in need of bone marrow donors. We also debate Kevin Costner’s best movies before wrapping up the show with Ask the Bench.

In hour two of OTB we continue talking NFL Draft and visit with Ross Jackson for the latest on the Saints. We also discuss how much money Roger Goodell makes and how much Chris does not like him. Plus, we address the controversy of Chris eating crawfish with gloves.

In hour one of OTB we talk LSU baseball getting back in the win column with a win over UNO, which somehow leads us to learning the difference between a privateer and a pirate. We also further discuss Jay Johnson’s comments about mistakes he feels he made when constructing this team.

In hour three of OTB we talk Saints draft with Nick Underhill before going around the room and sharing who we think New Orleans will pick at No. 8 and No. 42 in the draft. We also break the news that Jake Brown is out for the season.

In hour two of OTB we kick things off discussing the news that Garrett Nussmeier has a cyst and how that could affect his NFL Draft stock, along with how teams around the league may view the situation. We also continue our Dreams Come True Radiothon during the hour.
