We kick off hour two discussing Brian Kelly taking a job with CBS calling Mountain West football games. We also check in on the World Cup, breaking down where each team currently stands before somehow ending up in a conversation about how Europeans seem to love America—especially ranch dressing. We wrap up the hour with NBA news as Naz Reid is traded to the Charlotte Hornets in a deal involving LaMelo Ball.

We kick off hour one in disbelief after Matt shows up wearing jeans, which somehow leads to a debate over just how backhanded of a compliment it is to be someone's "hear me out." We then shift to college sports, discussing the NCAA's proposed "5-for-5" rule as it looks to bring some much-needed structure to the current chaos in college athletics. We also talk about Dustin Poirier's arrest and why Brendan Sorsby could actually learn something from the way that situation has been handled. We wrap up the hour with a look at the NBA Draft and the New Orleans Pelicans' latest draft pick.

In hour three we're joined by Will Helmers to talk some College World Series and discuss potential changes that could be coming to the MLB Draft and what those changes could mean for college baseball. We wrap up the show with Ask the Bench.

In hour two we talk Saints wide receiver Jordan Tyson and Jake's concerns about Tyson's injury history as he looks to carve out a role in the offense. Naturally, the conversation also turns to sports cards because that's what we do around here, including Matt showing off his latest prized possession—his "Fatty." We also listen to and react to audio from Whit Weeks's podcast appearance with Tyrann Mathieu.

In hour one of OTB we discuss the NFL's growing slate of international games and what it means for the league's global reach. We also revisit the ongoing Brendan Sorsby saga as his legal team says they plan to sue the NFL, and explain why that appears to be a losing battle. We also spend some time talking NBA Draft storylines and what to watch for as draft night approaches.

We kick off hour three with Nick Underhill talking New Orleans Saints, which leads Jake and Matt to raise some concerns about Jordan Tyson and the Saints' wide receiver room. We continue that discussion throughout the hour, breaking down expectations for Tyson and the rest of the receiving corps. Later, Matt revisits his new Star Wars card collection, which somehow turns into a conversation about Adam Driver, before we wrap up the show with Ask the Bench.

In hour two we discuss some notable omissions from Phil Steele’s preseason All-SEC teams, including one Tiger who somehow didn't make either the first or second team. We also talk some World Cup action and dive into OTB Mailbag, where a listener sends in a World Cup parlay for the crew to evaluate. We wrap up the hour with a little more NBA discussion and revisit the trade sending Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Miami Heat.

In hour one of OTB, Matt is fired up because his new Star Wars trading cards finally arrived. We also react to the blockbuster trade sending Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Miami Heat. We then turn our attention to college baseball, where Jake gets to celebrate his prediction of the Oklahoma Sooners baseball winning the national championship coming true. The crew debates whether Oklahoma or North Carolina Tar Heels baseball poses the bigger threat to LSU in the years ahead, and we wrap up the hour by discovering that Matt—the self-proclaimed king of hydration—had no idea it was National Hydration Day.

It’s Marler Monday, which means the conversation goes just about everywhere. In hour three we talk soccer, somehow end up on a geography tangent, and wrap up the show with Ask the Bench.

In hour two we discuss another big recruiting win for LSU as a Houston-area prospect flips his commitment to the Tigers, and we talk about just how hard the football staff has been working on the recruiting trail. We also discuss LSU softball getting some positive news as Kylee Edwards withdraws her name from the transfer portal. We wrap up the hour with Weekend Winners.

In hour one of OTB, Jake recaps his weekend in Biloxi for the World Series, where the Lugnuts came away with the championship. We also talk about just how loaded the sports weekend was, checking in on the U.S. Open and discussing some of the latest action from the FIFA World Cup.

In hour three we talk some LSU basketball recruiting before Chris Marler joins the show. From there, things go off the rails as we discuss Raygun, some of the weirdest Olympic sports imaginable, and which SEC quarterback isn't getting nearly enough attention heading into the season. We wrap up the show with Ask the Bench.

In hour two of OTB we discuss Sam Leavitt and where he stacks up against some of the other top quarterbacks around the country. With the United States set to face Australia in the World Cup, we naturally end up discussing Australia's famously ridiculous Emu War. We also talk LSU baseball getting a big boost as left-hander Braxton Beaty withdraws from the MLB Draft and heads to Baton Rouge, while former Tiger Gage Jump turns in another impressive outing with the Oakland Athletics.

We kick off hour one of OTB doing what we do best: bouncing around a bunch of different topics and generally shooting the breeze. We check in on the U.S. Open and see where our picks stand heading into the weekend, while also discussing Cam Jordan’s new contract with the New Orleans Saints and what it means for both sides moving forward.

We kick off hour three discussing Joe Burrow comparing this year’s Cincinnati Bengals to the legendary 2019 LSU squad and whether that comparison holds any water. We also talk some World Cup before Chef Michael Johnson joins for Munchies and tells the wild story of his recent trip to Israel, where he was basically getting bombed the entire time. We wrap up the show with Ask the Bench and a quick U.S. Open update.

We kick off hour two of OTB talking the U.S. Open and giving our picks for who we think will take home the trophy. We also discuss the mass exodus of key players from LSU softball and the concern that many of those departures have yet to be replaced. We talk some College World Series as the championship matchup is set, and Matt puts Taylor on the spot by asking which current college football quarterbacks he would take over Sam Leavitt.

We kick off the show talking about Brendan Sorsby and how everyone involved in the situation just needs to stop talking at this point. We also discuss LSU landing three running back commits, the Whitehead brothers, and another strong stretch on the recruiting trail. Later in the hour, we talk about Lane Kiffin's interview with Tyrann Mathieu, where Kiffin says he believes he will win a national championship at LSU one day.

In hour three of OTB we talk some World Cup, continue an inexplicable amount of discussion about Boyz II Men, and dive into the College World Series as Jim Schlossnagle comes up short in the postseason once again. We wrap up the show with Ask the Bench.

We kick off hour two of OTB with Dr. Etheredge and explore the topic of CTE following the passing of Aldon Smith and the news that his brain will be donated for research. Naturally, the conversation then shifts to Boyz II Men because, well, obviously. We wrap up the hour discussing comments from Trey'Dez Green about Lane Kiffin that may have inadvertently taken a shot at Brian Kelly.

After a brief detour into Love Island that we'll mostly pretend didn't happen, we get to the real news in hour one and discuss Cam Jordan signing back with the New Orleans Saints. We break down what the move means for the Saints, Jordan's legacy in New Orleans, and what his role could look like this season. We also play a game where Jake lists off quarterbacks and Matt has to decide whether he'd take them over Baker Mayfield.

In hour one of OTB we somehow cover a ton of ground in just the opening segment. We talk about Brendan Sorsby deciding to enter the supplemental draft, LSU landing two massive recruits, and wrap up the hour with a quick World Cup update.

In hour three we call out Chris Marler for his absurd take that the 2020 Alabama Crimson Tide football is the greatest college football team of all time. We also debate indoor vs. outdoor stadiums, talk about the Pat McAfee vs. Rocco’s drama, and wrap up with Ask the Bench, which somehow turns into the crew watching the legendary Spurs Fan Final Boss video.

We kick off hour two talking about some LSU baseball news from over the weekend, including Steven Milam returning and LSU landing a transfer from Tulane. We also do Weekend Winners, Jake has a bone to pick with travel baseball scoreboards, and the crew spends way too much time trying to convince Matt that buttoning his shirt all the way to the top is not a good look.

In hour one of OTB we recap our weekends and talk about just how many sports were happening all at once and how fun the weekend ended up being. We discuss UFC Freedom 250, some World Cup action, and of course the NBA Finals as Jake’s New York Knicks take down Alondra’s San Antonio Spurs.

In hour two of OTB we talk about LSU baseball landing another transfer portal commit and discuss Steven Milam. We attempt to talk World Cup, but somehow the conversation immediately turns into the cartel before eventually circling back to soccer. We also discuss a list ranking Sam Leavitt as the No. 1 quarterback coming off the infirmary list.

In hour one of OTB we talk about Texas Tech Red Raiders football basically holding a full 22-minute State of the Union to defend themselves, and how literally nobody outside of Texas Tech fans seems to be buying it. We also discuss how the PR strategy itself actually isn’t wrong in theory — it’s just absolutely not working in this particular case.

In hour three of OTB we talk movie remakes, do another edition of Ask Memphis with Jake’s son, discuss a little more World Cup action, and wrap up the show with Ask the Bench.

In hour two of OTB we talk about the TV schedule release and LSU’s kickoff times for the upcoming season. We also continue discussing the Brendan Sorsby situation as Joey McGuire basically responds with “at least he didn’t kill anyone.” We talk a little cards as well and briefly touch on New Orleans Saints OTAs.

We spend most of hour one talking NBA Finals as the New York Knicks pull off a historic comeback win over the San Antonio Spurs. We also talk some World Cup as it officially gets underway tonight and discuss Freddy the German dude who is road-tripping across America for the tournament.

In hour three of OTB we talk some World Cup before discussing Micah Parsons’ comments about division rival Caleb Williams. We also each give four NFL teams we think will finish with five more wins this season than they had last year, and wrap things up with a very quick Ask the Bench.

In hour two of OTB we continue making fun of NC State Wolfpack men's basketball and the legendary “Wolfpack PD” investigation. We even hear what Donald Trump supposedly thinks about the whole situation. We also talk LSU landing top transfer portal addition Bino Watters from University of Notre Dame.

In hour one of OTB we discuss NC State Wolfpack men's basketball reportedly opening an investigation involving LSU and Will Wade, and spend most of the hour making fun of just how ridiculous the whole situation sounds.

In hour two of OTB we talk Baseball Super Regionals as the field for Omaha is almost officially set. We also discuss a Sports Illustrated ranking of the NFL’s backup quarterbacks and debate what we agree and disagree with on the list. Plus, we do Weekend Winners.

In hour one of OTB we recap our weekends and discuss LSU football’s massive recruiting weekend and everything that came out of it. We also somehow end up talking beaches, beach music, and what songs would make the perfect burnt CD tour soundtrack.

In hour three of Off the Bench, Jacob Hester is joined by Bobby Carpentar to talk some college football and Big Ten. Throughout the hour Hester, Taylor and Musso contruct the perfect music festival that Bobby Carpentar dubbed "The Burnt CD Tour."

In hour two of Off the Bench, Jacob Hester, Taylor Sharp and Musso react to LSU basketball heading up to face Gonzaga on November 14th. What is a fair expectation for year one under Will Wade? Bill Bender of The Sporting News joins the show to discuss his piece on the top 25 college quarterbacks for the 2026 season. 

In hour one of Off the Bench, Jacob Hester, Taylor Sharp and Musso carry you through your Friday. The guys react to Jay Johnson and LSU landing their first portal addition.
