On this episode of the Offensive Minded Podcast, we jump into the week’s most talked-about issues — and as usual, things veer off the planned script. We do get serious on this episode as we tackle the highly charged and emotional situation playing out in Minneapolis involving ICE agents and federal immigration enforcement. There also is some time on a less serious note in which we discuss the coaches firing's and if they are justified or not. Spoiler alert, most of them are not.

We at Offensive Minded want to make this happen for you. This show we talk about strategies to use for the playoffs as well as what to do if your dynasty team fell short again this year. We also take a look at our last place league mate and provide strategies that will help them get out of the dark void of failure. Tonight's show was a special one as one of the host's Bret was joined by a rare creature on Halloween night known as a Vampoor not a Vampire. As far as we know this is the first discussion ever with a Vampoor. Join Bret as he interviews this oddity that resembles a missing chromosome Jean Simmons but still shares it's darkest secrets of the ancient Vampire order and Fantasy Football strategies. On tonight’s show I and hopefully my host Bret will join us as we discuss if you will be given a treat for week 9 or trick. We also will be making some scary predictions about our favorite team, the Vikings and Broncos as well as discussing trade options and golden handcuffs. No not golden showers unless it’s champagne due to your victory! Even though you may not have a golden handcuff we at Offensive Minded have a golden rule in which listener discretion is advised.

This show I am on my own as my host is busy being successful in the real world but not me no no. I am going to still live in my head of eternal bachelorhood surrounded with Fantasy Football, sports cars and dating super models. Since it's just me I speak my mind and say what I am feeling much like calling an audible in the pocket. It's Chad's audible.....that I like to call a Chaudible...you get it. Anyway join me myself and I as I discuss football owners, Viking's QB situation, how to build a good football team and how my generation is responsible for disconnect in society. This podcast was supposed to be about fantasy football but sometimes we take a different turn and speak about the things that strike us in the moment. Unfortunately I got a bit caught up about getting laid......the only laid I can get which is laid off and then we went into a diatribe about the present education system, careers in the future and how much the job market has changed since I was a young foolish man. It concludes with me opening up about some of my issues, the mistakes I made and continue to make and what it really takes to be successful in a job market that is becoming unsuccessfully stable year after year. On tonight’s show we got a variety pack for you much like those old football variety card packs, you know the one with the hard gum that you would break your tooth on. We will be getting into week 6 matchups included who to start, who to trade or who not to trade as well beating the wavier wire like you do during happy time in the shower....and you know you do it so don’t deny it. Tonight’s show we break away from our fun fantasy football for the first hour and a half to speak about the climate of America, challenging the stigmata of a permanent broken America and what the Government shut down is really about. Now since I know about as much about politics as I do fantasy football, (maybe even less),the last half hour will be speaking about fantasy football strategy if you are 0-4 and loss one of the many fantasy football stars. On tonight’s show or whenever the hell you listen we are going to dive deep....well were going to jump in the deep end......well were going to dip our feet in it......okay were just going to splash and play in the fantasy football kiddie pool (uhh that might sound bad) and speak about the climate of these rookies, what to do if 0 -3 and listen to my confession lack luster knowledge in this FN game! This show I am sorry but we have to discuss about what happened this week with Charlie Kirk as I try to bring a point for common ground. No left or right opinion here instead just fact as I discuss only one side of what happened, The American one! Also listener discretion is advised.

OK, so this is the final final final predictions of the top 24 running backs and wide receivers…because the season starts Thursday. Now listen in as I make myself accountable for these ranking with an end of season bet 😀. Even though I know the rankings will be wrong. Yes we discuss our league a bit but the players discussed are well know with a bit twist as we try to break our bias and un-bias opinions. This show we kind of get away from our regular programing of bad jokes and stupid tangents and become more Fantasy Football focused. In response to the tragic even that happened last Saturday June 14 with death of Minn Rep Horton and her husband we spin the wheel of topics and have a more serious political discussion diving into the depths of what motivated the shooter, the faction of America and the war in Iran which could lead to a possible World War 3. We still do have a few lighthearted stories if your listening for those and as always listener discretion is advised. 

This episode my host Bret and I (Chad) share story time as he explains his experience in Vegas on a business trip that involves passive aggressive Uber Drivers, small plate dinners and hallway blockers. If that isn't interesting I tell a story about possibly the worst pick up line ever and keeping away a Ju Jitsu.....well listen and you will see. The show wraps up with the last half hour giving our thoughts on the Top 100 fantasy rankings for 2025. Not crude humor or football, instead I speak with my co-host's son Bailey about the struggles he faces with the loss and constant ridicule as well as the challenges he faces with his disabilities. Tune in to hear the troubled minds of today's youth and what can be done to help those that need it but above all healing by having the courage to talk out the pain. This episode starts a bit off the rails with speaking of my co-host Bret as a deity then jumping into an improv as me trying to buy some connectors due to him being a connector salesperson. We then get a pleasantly surprise call from handle Sportsnerd who runs circles around me in sports knowledge and even Bret who knows much more about da sports then me. This person knows their stuff and listen to find out what their age is. Now we did try to keep this pretty civil but for us that is still not good enough, so listener discretion is advised.

After a few tasteful and tasteless jokes, I Chad finally got to give a brief and ironic history lesson on how the first depression in America was caused because American's refused to pay taxes. We also got into a bit of a discussion not argument on Trump's Adress and whether we feel it was the right choice to vote for him.
