The latest episode of Ask Dubey is here, and with the Oilers officially into offseason mode, the big questions are already starting 👀What happens in net next season? Could the Oilers actually make a move for Sergei Bobrovsky or Filip Gustavsson? Is Tristan Jarry still part of the plan? Oilers trade talk, roster management, and the big coaching question

It's Friday afternoon, which means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio is ready to massage your eardrums with an hour of off-season Oilers talk. On today's podcast, the fellas discussed the Oilers' first-round exit, what changes to expect in Edmonton, line combinations, injury updates, and more.We kicked off the Friday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about who out of Stan Bowman, Darnell Nurse, Tristan Jarry, and Kris Knoblauch will be around next year. Given that there will be plenty of changes over the summer, the guys looked at the four most talked-about names and took a few swings at who they think will be around when October rolls around. That led to a debate about which of those guys are likely to be around, not because they're necessarily wanted, but rather because contracts make it likely. Shifting gears, the boys looked at Evan Bouchard being snubbed from being a Norris Trophy finalist. As you'll hear, Rick was very passionate about No. 2 not getting a nod for the award, and how it seems unfathomable that the year he had wasn't worth being named as one of the NHL's three best defencemen. The fellas also discussed Connor McDavid's Hart Trophy nomination and how Liam thinks it's all but a guarantee that he wins the award. Finally, we wrapped up the Friday episode of ONR with another round of Ask the Idiots, betting talk for our friends at bet365, and Hot and Cold Performers to look back on the week that was. With the playoffs firmly underway, the guys spent the bulk of the podcast moving through a range of topics, most related to the Oilers' off-season, some not, but that’s the way things go on the Friday episode of ONR.📺 Subscribe for Edmonton Oilers coverage, NHL news, playoff analysis, and hockey podcasts🤝 SPONSORS🙌 Powered by Bet365 → http://www.bet365.ca/ (Use code: NATION)🥙 Swiss Donair → https://swissdonair.com/ Hosted on Acast. The Oilers' off-season begins

It's Tuesday afternoon, which means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio is ready to massage your eardrums with an hour of off-season Oilers talk. On today's podcast, the fellas discussed the Oilers' post-season pressers, the Dynamic Duo's scathing comments, free agency, injury updates, and more.We kicked off the Tuesday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about how concerned everyone was about the post-season press conferences, given that the Dynamic Duo didn't exactly pull punches with their answers. From the team not being good enough to even taking steps backward, the messaging from the Oilers' best players was as blunt as you could get. Needless to say, when Draisaitl and McDavid speak as honestly as they do, Edmonton's management desperately needs to take notice. Shifting gears, the boys called David Quadrelli from Canucksarmy to see if they could pitch him a trade proposal live on the podcast, with the Oilers sending Tristan Jarry or Darnell Nurse to Vancouver to clear cap space. As you'll hear, some of the boys' ideas were well received by Quads, while others were shot down almost immediately. They also discussed the Oilers' coaching situation after news came out of Tampa Bay that Jon Cooper isn't going anywhere, ruining the dreams the guys started on Friday's episode. Finally, we wrapped up the Tuesday episode of the podcast with another round of betting talk for our friends at bet365, and a round of Tenable about the World Championships to add a little levity after a very annoying week. With the playoff run wrapped up and cut short, the boys spent the bulk of the podcast moving through a range of topics, most related to the playoffs, some not, but that’s the way things go during the off-season on ONR.📺 Subscribe for Edmonton Oilers coverage, NHL news, playoff analysis, and hockey podcasts🤝 SPONSORS🙌 Powered by Bet365 → http://www.bet365.ca/(Use code: NATION)🥙 Swiss Donair → https://swissdonair.com/ Hosted on Acast. Goaltending, Injuries & What’s Next for Edmonton

The playoff run ends early for the Oilers, and it’s time to break it all down.On this episode of Ask Dubey, we dive into a disappointing first-round exit, what went wrong against Anaheim, and where the team goes from here. From penalty kill struggles and injuries to major offseason questions in net, there’s a lot to unpack. We also get into the future of the roster, the pressure surrounding the core, and even shift gears with a great discussion on youth hockey development and why playing multiple sports matters.💬 Got a question for Dubey?Drop it in the comments or use #AskDubey for a chance to be featured in the next episode!🤝 SPONSORSPowered by bet365Whatever the moment, it’s Never Ordinary at bet365.Download the app & use promo code: NATIONhttp://www.bet365.ca/Wilhauk Beef Jerkyhttps://www.wilhaukbeefjerky.com/ Hosted on Acast. Breakding down the Oilers' Game 6 loss and looking ahead at a busy summer

It's Friday afternoon, which means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio is ready to massage your eardrums with an hour of off-season Oilers talk. On today's podcast, the fellas discussed the Oilers' first-round exit, what changes to expect in Edmonton, line combinations, injury updates, and more.We kicked off the Friday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about whether the boys were more frustrated or sad after the Oilers got kicked out of the playoffs in the first round. After making it to the Stanley Cup Final the past two seasons, it's hard to make sense of what went wrong for a team that had much higher expectations for itself. As a second delicious debate, the boys discussed whether Kris Knoblauch will be behind the bench when the 2026-27 season kicks off.Shifting gears, the boys looked at some of the decisions the Oilers made throughout the year, and how some of the moves turned out okay, while others have been complete disasters. Starting with the coaching, the boys wondered whether Kris Knoblauch will be behind the bench when the next season kicks off. Given that there are some quality coaches currently available, would the Oilers want to pull the trigger on that move early to leave their options open? Or will they bring back for another tour, given that his contract extension just kicks in this year? Oilers Pushed To The Brink Of Elimination

Oilersnation Radio is back with another episode as the guys break down a massive moment for the Edmonton Oilers and try to make sense of where things have gone wrong. It starts with a delicious debate before diving into the blame board — who deserves the most heat right now? From injuries to inconsistent goaltending and coaching decisions, nothing is off the table. The conversation also touches on the emotional side behind the bench (because what coach doesn’t get upset with the refs?), while giving credit where it’s due — you can’t disrespect the Ducks and the way they’ve been playing.Despite the situation, there’s still some belief. The Oilers haven’t quit, and this is a team that’s battled back before. The challenge now? Finding the right angle, picking the right starter, and managing ice time properly. They also go around the league, get into some betting talk, and wrap things up with score predictions.📺 Subscribe for Edmonton Oilers content, NHL news, playoff coverage, and hockey podcasts.🤝 SPONSORS🙌 Powered by bet365 → http://www.bet365.ca/(Use code: NATION)🥙 Swiss Donair → https://swissdonair.com/ Hosted on Acast. Oilers injury woes and a #NationVacation recap

Another week is set to wrap, we're all back from Vegas, and that means a brand new episode of Oilersnation Radio is here and set to lead you into the weekend. This week, we look at all of the Oilers' injuries that have come down recently, preview tomorrow night's game against the Jets, and recap the #NationVacation to Las Vegas.   To kick off this week's podcast, we started with a look at the Oilers' recent run of injuries that are plaguing the lineup right now and whether or not this is the kind of adversity that will bring the boys together. Though, looking at Twitter today, it seems like some of the fallen will be returning to the lineup soon which will be an obvious boost. We also looked at the three news guys and offered our opinions on who we thought made the best first impression. Changing gears entirely, we spent the last half of the podcast recapping this week's #NationVacation, including all of the shenanigans we got up to along the way. More importantly, we spent a few minutes at the end of the show being thankful for the amazing people that made this trip possible. Without all of you, none of these trips could ever happen and we're incredibly thankful for the wonderful community that allows us to throw these events. Hosted on Acast. BOA Breakdown, Player Safety, and Cheating in Hockey

Another Friday is upon us and that means a brand new episode of Oilersnation Radio is here and set to lead you into the weekend. This week, we look back at last weekend's BOA, a big win over the Predators on Tuesday night, and what to expect as the Oilers head into their bye week.   To kick off this week's podcast, we got started with a look back at the #NationRoadTrip to Calgary that happened last weekend along with all the shenanigans that went with it. From the Zack Kassian suspension to the charitable initiatives that spawned from that game, there was plenty to talk about as we tried to make sense of what went down. From there, we looked at Caleb Jones' new contract, what everyone thought about it, and what it means for the state of the defence moving forward. Does having Jones locked in for two years mean that a move on defence is coming? From there, we moved onto the NHL's Player Department of Safety and how inconsistent they've been when dolling out justice to cheaters around the league. As an example, Zack Kassian spoke about targetted hits being legal and how he will remember that moving forward, so we wondered if the league is doing enough when it comes to keeping its players safe. To close out this week's podcast, we finished up with the hot and cold performers of the week which looked at the best and worst performances from the past seven days. As always, it was a jam-packed episode of Oilersnation Radio and one that you'll definitely want to give a listen. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

"I don't want to cheer for the wave and shit"

Can you believe you've already waited a whole week for a brand new episode of Oilersnation Radio? You can’t, can you? I can only imagine what the struggle must have been like. Fortunately, the agonizing is over and we’ve got a fresh podcast that’s ready for your earholes just in time for the weekend.   To start off today's podcast, we looked at the week that was for the Edmonton Oilers, including the injury sustained by Riley Sheahan in Wednesday's game against Columbus. As insurance, the team recalled Colby Cave from Bakersfield and I asked the boys whether or not he'd play, and where he'd fit in the lineup. Sticking with the line combinations, I offered up an apology to Dave Tippett for putting Jujhar Khaira, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, and Sam Gagner together since I had very low expectations for the trio and they've been solid over the past two games. Next up, we all took a few minutes to gush over the incredible month of October Leon Draisaitl and whether or not he'll be able to keep this heater rolling into November. We also looked at the Oilers upcoming schedule and took a few bets on what kind of month we think they'll have. Lastly, we finished up this week's podcast with a look at the Hot and Cold Performers of the Week, and as usual, what was expected to be a straight-forward conversation turned into one hell of an argument. McDavid's best career goal? Fan appreciation night, and an interview with Larvinen

Hello friends, welcome back to episode 30 of Oilersnation Radio! 30 episodes, can you believe it? This week we're joined by our very special friend who travelled all the way from Finland to visit the city and watch the Oilers play this week. Larvinen came with 24 other Finnish hockey fans, and let me tell you, they know how to have a good time. Larvinen sits down with us at the end of the episode to update us on how his trip is going, and to give us his perspective of how he took control of Rogers Place during the game last night. Other topics discussed include the best places to sit in Rogers Place, Ken Hitchcock's three-year contract with the Oilers, and we address all of the Ryan Nugent-Hopkins trade rumours. Connor McDavid also scored ANOTHER highlight-reel goal in last nights game against the Stars. The boys seem to think that last nights goal was better than his goal against the Blue Jackets two years ago, but I disagree. We get into this stupid argument about how McDavid's goal last night could have been better, and you're going to want to listen to it! This weeks Intro/Outro song is 'One Step From Magic' from Carter & The Capitals. You can check them out and get their Western Canadian Tour Dates on Instagram and on their Website. Hosted on Acast.
