On the frontier of Eastern Karameikos, settlers carve out a hard won life in the wild untamed borderlands, horses run free across vast open plains, rivers cut through ancient forests and small homesteads burn their little light against the vast dark night. Life out here while rewarding is both difficult and dangerous countless stories of those who have settled here have vanished and have become but all but lost to time. That which was lost however begs to be found and there are those who would pay any price regardless the cost without care for who exactly it is that pays it. Something is amiss, smoke rises in the distance travelers disappear on roads once safe and out there in the shadows forgotten gods of the land wait with open arms.
