You’ll Never Be Ready - And That’s the Point

Readiness is the prettiest lie we tell ourselves. We think we’re waiting for alignment - really, we’re avoiding fear. In this raw solo episode, I talk about how preparation becomes procrastination, how I’ve hidden behind “getting ready” in my own creative life, and why every artist, dreamer, and builder needs to start before they feel qualified.

The Myth of the Good Life

We’re told that a good life is built by stacking good days back to bac.... but what happens when those days fall apart? In this episode, Stanton unpacks a personal story about control, surrender, and the pressure to “win the day.” Through a conversation that begins with Joe Rogan’s quote and ends with an unexpected truth from ChatGPT, he explores what really defines a good life: not perfect days, but honest ones."I did my best, I want to say,As I rest my soul at the end of this day,And not my best when it comes to the list,That my mind manufactured, when I balled up my fist,And tightly told myself I must do with my time,It’s like I’m screaming at reality, “Hey, don’t get out of line!”With what I’ve said I’ll accomplish before tonight’s dinner,In order to view myself as some sort of winner.Did I seize my time? Did I seize this moment?Should this day become my goals just because I wrote it?What a lofty goal, to dictate the future,As if the person I am is some sort of ill-fated loserTo begin my day with this vision of life,That must conform, or I’ll be stricken with strifeNo, perhaps I’ll learn that this fist all balled up,Actually leads to nothing, to a never filled cup. What if acceptance of life is what we all need?To release control, to finally seeThat this world has bigger plans for you than your goals ever could,I wish this was something we all understoodAnd please don’t forget the path that feels rightThat got you up out of bed, that called you to life. But maybe we can let go of our grip on what happens,And let reality fuse with the beauty of passion,When acceptance flow from us, with the hand we are dealt,Perhaps my best is less seen, perhaps my best is more felt. "

    i wrote a poem

I spent 5 hours writing this poem as a reflection on my past year - what I’ve wrestled with, where I’ve grown, and the moments that made me feel alive. It’s personal, raw, and maybe a little messy… but so is life.

Learning to Trust (and Doubt) Yourself

Do you ever question your own thoughts, feelings, or instincts? In this episode, Stanton dives into his lifelong self-skepticism -the constant second-guessing of emotions, choices, and even personal truths. He unpacks how this can both protect us from blind spots and trap us in self-doubt, and shares how reframing skepticism as discernment can turn it into wisdom. You’ll hear personal stories, practical ways to anchor yourself, and an invitation to rethink how much trust you place in your own inner voice.

    Beginning Again, Every Morning

What if the first words you spoke every morning set the tone for who you’re becoming? In this episode, I share the audacious move I made this week: creating a personal mantra, printing it, and hanging it by my mirror. I break down why each line matters, how it counters my own inner critic, and how you can craft your own simple ritual to start the day aligned with presence, agency, and purpose.

  7. 22

Fried Nervous System with a Side of Anxiety

In this one I sit down with no notes and no filter. I talk about coming back from Iceland, why my nervous system feels fried, and how I have been wrestling with the pressure to always be growing. I share what it feels like to reach for my phone like a pacifier, to question whether I am lazy or simply not built for the hustle, and to admit how much I crave peace. This episode is me talking honestly with myself and hopefully giving you permission to take stock of your own life too.

We Don’t Rise to Our Goals, We Fall to Our Systems

Most people think success comes down to setting the right goals. But this week, I was hit with a truth I can’t unsee:We don’t rise to the level of our goals—we fall to the level of our systems. In this episode, I reflect on the last 90 days of intentional living—building habits, cutting out alcohol, waking up early, training for a marathon—and how it led me to restructure my entire life. I share the exact framework I used to redesign my daily rhythm, weekly themes, and personal systems so I could live aligned with who I want to become—not just who I’ve been.If you’ve ever felt like you’re doing all the right things but still running on fumes, this episode is for you.📍 Topics include:• Redefining habits & routines• Avoiding burnout while chasing big goals• My 6-part system for designing a sustainable life• The truth about motivation, momentum, and structure• Why your identity needs a system to stand on🎧 Listen in, then take 60 seconds to sit in silence and ask:What system do I need to change to support the person I want to become?

You Don’t Need More Time. You Just Need to Move.

What if the only thing standing between you and your dream was a dusty garage? It started in my garage. I sold nearly 90 items, made about $800, and used that money to start a microgreens business. But somewhere between clearing out old boxes and planting new seeds, I realized this wasn’t just about launching a side hustle…It was about remembering a forgotten part of myself. A kid who used to garden with his dad. A teenager who spent hours on Harvest Moon, building a virtual farm and growing crops with care. This episode is about more than just microgreens. It’s about listening to that quiet inner voice. The one that remembers what used to make you come alive. If you’ve ever felt like you needed more time, more clarity, or more money to start something—this one’s for you. The truth is, you might already have everything you need.→ What forgotten dream might be buried just beneath your clutter?

  24. 5

    From Clutter to Clarity

This week’s audacious move wasn’t headline-worthy or wild — it was deeply human. I decluttered my house, sold things on Facebook Marketplace, and prepped my space (and mind) to launch a business next week. But this episode isn’t really about spring cleaning. It’s about noise — in our homes, in our minds, in our calendars — and the quiet boldness it takes to say no to the things that no longer align. We talk about: • Why clearing space is an act of self-respect • The clutter you don’t even realize is costing you peace • What Swedish Death Cleaning taught me about letting go • And how every drawer I emptied was a vote for who I’m becomingIf you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or like your mind is running on 15 tabs at once… this episode is for you.

Audacity: The Unraveling of Your True Self

What's inside: An introduction to Stanton What can you expect from The 1 A.M. Club What is the meaning of "1 A.M." What is audacity and why is it important?Comfort is a slow death - stagnation is the silent killer of a generation of potential and people that believe that what they have been doing is just what they are supposed to do in life. I believe we are called to more - I believe we can take action amidst all of the pain, doubt, excuses, insecurity, trauma, cultural norms, voices, and FEAR. We can look it ALL in the eyes and say, I see you, but I'm done letting you tell me who I am and what I can do. This "looking in the eyes" of all of the above is Audacity. It's the willingness to take a bold risk. We hold both our fear and our knowledge that we have what it takes. And the more we do this, the more we empower ourselves with the beauty of what we see inside ourselves as we leap into who we KNOW we are. But it takes courage, and it's not easy - that's why I'm here! Join me every week as I intentional take on 1 audacious move every week to further push myself toward become who I believe myself to be in this world, even if the way ahead isn't clear - the silent knowing inside calls me to look the fear in the eyes and DO IT ANYWAY. The more you do it, the more you see yourself (your true self) revealed. Even if it's a glimpse, you become more aware of your ability to actively be the architect of your life. Audacity is THE life hack! So glad to have you all here!
