Case Woo - I Am Freakin On Fire (KONKRETE Remix)

Remixing Through The Endemic – a remix version of the label's previous compilation – Navigating Through The Pandemic - is finally seeing the light of day! This long overdue remix comp features a stellar cast of South East Asian producers, both veterans and up-and-coming talents alike. Kicking off the comp is a remix from Bangalore native Aman Anand. Aman's remix of label boss Aldrin's track “Sizing Things Up”, takes the original elements and builds them into a progressive bomb. On the rise with a string of strong releases and remixes over the last year, Aman's music has already seen support from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J and Guy Mantzur. Next up, Jakarta's Indra7 turns in a deeper rework of “Sizing Things Arp”. Hailed as one of the pioneering DJs of Indonesia's Techno movement, Indra7 has been churning out releases and remixes on various labels like Deepsomnia, Love International and Asia Music. Manila born, UK based Alinep steps up and adds his signature minimal touch to Ferng's “Far From Over”. It's a heads down late night hypnotic affair from the Deepsomnia label head, who's recent releases have been heavily supported by non other than Minimal Techno god Richie Hawtin. “Far From Over” gets another rework, courtesy of Bangkok's DOTT. A more stripped down version, the remix showcases DOTT's love for raw House and Techno in a minimalistic way, combining indelible bass grooves with an intoxicating analogue sound palette. As an integral player in Bangkok’s expanding underground House and Techno scene, DOTT is also a member of More Rice – a vinyl only label based out of Bangkok. More Rice co-founder Sarayu also contributes a remix, turning Halal Sol's funky “How?” into a deep, minimal affair. On a mission to make underground dance music a staple of local culture just like the rice grain, Sarayu and his crew also aims to fly the Thai flag for electronica across the global underground. Kuala Lumpur stalwart Kuma brings the heat to Aldrin's “Arp Arp & Away”, crafting it into a peak time Techno workout. With a growing catalogue that includes releases on Renesanz, Prospect, and Ohrwurm, Kuma continues his dedication to the genre and his desire to share his love of Techno with the world. Fresh out of Saigon, Konkrete - a Techno duo consisting of Red Sheep and Teddy Bui - brings their massive warehouse-rave-infused vibe to “I Am Freakin On Fire”. Konkrete's strong production techniques is a reflection of the quality that's currently coming out of Vietnam. Closing the compilation, label boss Aldrin reimagines Benedict & Palmer's proggy “The 7th Month” into a prime time ammo, flavoured with Melodic Techno, Progressive House and Indie Dance influences. Already road tested on his gigs and monthly ONE nights, this has been his secret weapon over the last 6 months.
